Everything! The location, comfortable bed, views from the balcony and side window, spacious comfortable room. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed after doing 2 days of hiking and needed somewhere to rest and enjoy Wanaka. We cooked in for 2 nights and they had everything we needed. The laundry was handy and easy to use. Peter was very friendly and the cleaning staff were nice too. This is our second time staying and we would happily stay again. We spent a bit of time in the room just enjoying the view and the comfort.

Firstly, as a solo traveller I felt safe at this accommodation. Amazing views of lake and mountain range. The room was spotless and had all the amenities, microwave, toaster, fridge etc., all new and in good working condition. Bed comfortable and made up with lovely linen. The tissues in the bathroom were of superior quality (far superior than those in a hotel) and the lotion, soap and hair shampoo good quality. If you have small children there is a playing area across the road. Friendly staff. Darren was exceptionally helpful and carried my bag across the road to the shuttle bus, how’s that for service!! THANK YOU! I would not hesitate in recommending this accommodation.

Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment was perfect for our group of 4 adults and one child. The location was perfect, across the road from the lake and a children's playground and a very short stroll into Wanaka's main lakefront with it's shops and cafes.

You are very close to other apartments, but nothing unusual for the lakefront in Wanaka. Disappointing that both the indoor and outdoor eating areas only had 4 chairs, when there were 5 of us. The downstairs double bedroom was quite small.

Great location close to centre of Wanaka. Quiet for such a central location. Very nice outlook with balcony.

Carparking was very tight. A little disappointed no daily room service. At this price we expected that. Hence the lower rating on cleanliness and value for money. Overall it was clean and tidy, just would have felt nicer to have good daily service. Appreciate the difficulty of staffing, perhaps this needs to be more upfront to set expectations.

We enjoyed our stay, location was perfect. Close to everything shops and restaurants. We spent most of our time walking along the Wanaka lake and taking photos of the famous Wanaka Tree. Great view facing the lake and beautiful mountains.

After booking we've been inform that there will be no one in the reception between 10:30 am to 2 pm which was fine. We came nearly 4pm and still nobody in thier office. I called their mobile and just went to msg bank. During our stay, most of the time there's no one in their office.

A perfect location in Wanaka just a few minutes from the main lakefront street but with wonderful views over the lake itself. First floor balcony maximised the view and the room itself was excellent- spotlessly clean, well planned use of the space and with a relatively large bathroom. Peter was extremely helpful on check in and with advice about activities in town. Highly recommended.

Fantastic views & location. Friendly & helpful staffs. Parking always was available on site. Clean rooms with balcony with chairs.

Only thing I can fault is the blinds in our room #8 didn't shut fully which let light in when sleeping. We did inform on checkout & hopefully this minor issue will be fixed. Besides that all was very good.

Lake Wanaka is right outside the window of the room. The weather was very nice when we arrived. The sun filled the whole room and made it very warm. Warm floor, warm house. There is also a small stove that can make complementary food for babies. A very nice host who prepared a very comfortable crib for the baby. The hotel's location is great！It only takes five minutes to walk to the center. It's very convenient for eating and shopping. Just remember to make a reservation at a delicious restaurant. I really love the fantastic lake Wanaka. I will definitely come back when baby grows up！

We arrived late at night and the room was warm and had everything we needed to spend the night not freezing. We woke up to a wonderful lake view, which you can enjoy from inside the room or outside on a little balcony. Definitely a highlight of our south island trip.

The place is a bit outdated, but honestly, the facilities are really well-kept and comfortable, so it's more of a comment than a critique. I would definitely stay again.

Location was spot on. We loved our view of the lake! Also, the walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Even though there was ample parking by the beach, the view was beautiful from our room. Room was very clean, bathroom had more than enough space, toiletries were much appreciated. Staff was very helpful when talking about hikes and things to see later on in our road trip.

More parking for the motel would be a bonus but was never a problem for us.
