Great room/suite: loads of space, well appointed kitchen inc washing machine/drier, very comfortable and very light. Good location close to main sights and restaurants etc.
We used the secure car park which required a card swipe entry and exit. To get from the car park to our room we had to get a lift down to the hotel reception then go outside into another building, go up in another lift (with card swipe), and through an outer and an inner door (both with card swipe) - that’s really not great with luggage.

The location is great, after hours check-in works smoothly, receptionist were friendly. Great to have a quiet suites with great view. Water pressure is average, but shower unit is spacious. Kitchen's got everything we need for the time we were there. A lot of space for everyone to enjoy their own area and some distance from the kids...
The washing machine and dryer are great to have, however they both smelled a bit. Both vanities in the bathrooms are blocked, took a long time for the next person to use it (and left a mess in the sink). The fabric couch is comfy but does have a strong smell. The bed does not have a duvet cover, kid's bed sheets gone crazy after the first night.

I was really close to giving this place a perfect score, but the beds just didn't cut it. The single beds were super narrow and uncomfortable - king singles would have been a much better option. The queen bed looked like it had been around for a while and was definitely due for a replacement. Let's be real, a good night's sleep is the main reason people stay in hotels and motels, so this was a major letdown. On the bright side, the service desk staff were fantastic - the ladies there were super helpful and friendly. Despite the bed issues, I'd still consider returning. Maybe they'll sort out the beds by then!
The beds!!!

The management upgraded us to one of their penthouse suites. It was lovely, lots of light comes in, an eating area that was separate from the main room, or the huge sliding doors can be opened up so you are eating outside. The outside deck is really large, and has stunning views of the area, bonus is amazing sunsets, and the moon rising over the water. The penthouse is very large, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large kitchen, large sitting room. We loved our 8 days up high. The reception staff were wonderful, patient, kind, helpful, and treated us so well. To management and staff, we were very appreciative for your kindness. To the housekeeping lady who brought us fans and towels, thank you too. You were wonderful, and fun, and I loved your upbeat mood.
We were there when it was bright and sunny, and hot. There is AC in the main sitting/kitchen area. The rest of the penthouse stays hot. Putting AC in the bedrooms would really make a huge difference. We asked for some fans, and they brought some up, but the rooms stayed pretty hot. We opened the patio door in the master, and we would get fresh air coming in.

Location and is always such a lovely place to stay and staff are very friendly and always so helpful
The 2 bedroom apartment level one was a bit dark in all areas so missed some lovely weather Wellington had on the weekend….. as the apartment backed onto the private carpark it made it darker and when the roller door went up it made a winding sound then the lights would go on in the dark… Nothing major but would have loved to be on another level so we could have some light into the apartment as we have stayed there before and have experienced nice light into the rooms when your higher As the apartment was not serviced during our 5 day stay, the towels were big enough, had to wash and dry them so we could use daily

The staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 4-bed town house having previously stayed in a 2-bed apartment on a previous trip. We loved having the extra space, and having 3 bathrooms was a bonus.
Some of the decor is looking quite tired. We have stayed here a couple of times now over the past 10 years and this is the first time we felt that the standard of decor was tired. Additionally, a number of items were damaged (lamp tops loose on the bases, fan top was broken and would not stay upright) and the smell from the shower drains was quite strong.

Good location and the rooms were great with all the facilities needed.
After a long journey, travelling down for the hikoi mo Te Tiriti, and participating in a few hikoi on the way. A particular staff member gave us some directions to the public car park because their parking was full 🤷 which ended up taking us around the city 🤦 to find that her initial direction (left) was so wrong. After we found it and went back to the motel, she then told me I was supposed to leave the slip of paper on the dash in our vehicle 😮 omg Sort of made me feel a bit of subtle racism was occurring. All that aside, the accommodation was lovely

Bed was comfortable. Combo washer and dryer was nice although took like 9 hours to run a wash and dry cycle. Restaurants, Waterfront, Museum are all close. Street is narrow and a bit funky but as it is a dead end, not much traffic. Staff had us park in front of a garage door to check in. Staff very friendly, pretty much like every kiwi we have encountered. Mucho Coffee is pretty close and was good for coffee and a pastry.
You had to exit one building, then enter another building to get to your car.

Fantastic location, with a good size room. The beads and pillows were reasonably comfortable. Great blackout blinds, it Had everything that we needed for our weekend in Wellington.
The lounge suite wasn’t super comfortable. And the shower hadn’t been cleaned for awhile there was visible mould in the grout. But other than that the apartment was spotless. There is no parking reception area which could be awkward when busy on a narrow street but once you’ve got your car parked but you’re sorted.

We received a free upgrade to the Penthouse, staff were approachable and happy to organise for our bins to emptied and tea restocked whenever we asked despite there only being weekly housekeeping. Very quiet, great location in terms of access to the city (can walk). Very clean, lots of blankets provided. Heating worked really well, all towel rails were heated as well.
As I had already read, parking was very tight on the hotel carpark so I would recommend hiring a small car (we had a Rav 4). The local streets are also narrow with tight corners. As others have commented the kitchen didn't have a baking tray nor did it have a mixing bowl (only shallow cereal bowls) so we had to buy these ourselves to use during our stay. The kitchen bin was very small so we needed to call to have it emptied a lot as we were cooking there. The combined washer dryer was great to have but it was very slow and could only manage very small loads.
