The location of the hotel was very close to all the amenities of Harrogate .Lots of cafes,bars close by .Staff were very friendly on the front desk and welcoming fast check in .Room was very clean and thr bed was extremely comfortable had a fabulous night's sleep .The shower was a proper power shower as well .added bonus of the bath as well .Tea/coffee making facilities in the room topped up tea and biscuits daily All in all a great stay

The room didn't have much of a view a little drawback but didn't ditract to much The room was a little hot but soon rectified with opening the window The lighting in the room was a little dark as well

Standard Double Room was spacious with a huge bed, immaculately clean. The bathroom was roomy too, plenty of towels. We ate in the hotel for a couple of evenings and for one breakfast. Without fail the food was excellent every time and the staff were always friendly and efficient. The Fat Badger restaurant menu is the same as the bar menu so you can choose whether you fancy the calm of one or the liveliness of the other- the same menu is also available on room service. We did try a nearby hotel for one dinner but it had the charm of a mausoleum, though the food was good. It’s a five minute walk to the main shopping area and loads of places to eat and drink, including Betty’s of course!

It is only a personal thing but there is seating around the outside of the hotel, it looks lovely with flowering plants all around the area and nice lighting so is a great asset I’m sure and was well used. Our room overlooked the area and until the bar closed it was very noisy; I’m at the age now where I really need some beauty sleep!

Our room was a standard double which was a great size , lovely decor and very clean . Unfortunately the room was soooo warm and you could only open the windows a few centimetres . The breakfast room / restaurant was also soooo warm with no opening windows . It was around 20-22 degrees the days we were there so no overly hot outside but too hot for comfort in our room. Breakfast was a buffet style and lovely quality and choice, again just spoilt by how warm the room was. The Fat Badger bar attached to the hotel was a great addition. Nice bar atmosphere , lovely outdoor seating and great food ! Parking was easy and not too unreasonably priced at £15 from morning til 2pm the following day bearing in mind the Hotels location is central. I would stay here again but not during the summer months🥵

The only thing not to like was the room temperature

Friendly staff at reception. Nice clean and tidy double room with tea/coffee facilities. Again bathroom modern with nice hot shower. The hotel is less than a ten minute walk from the train station and is ideally placed for central bars and restaurants. It is also close to green areas for a nice stroll, also the nice residential streets. The 'Fat Badger' pub/bar is joined to the hotel and has a nice relaxing feel to it. It gets busy there in the evenings. A good selection of drinks ( I didn't eat there ).

My room was directly looking over a zebra crossing and the flashing lights were a little 'inconvenient' when it came to going to bed, as I like to have part of the curtain open. Apart from that, nothing.

The room was so spacious & I was very surprised to have a super king bed. Lovely bonus! It had everything you would need for your comfort. It has a hairdryer, suitcase stand, iron & ironing board, a seating area with 2 chairs & a table so you could sit & enjoy a cuppa looking out of the large window, a wardrobe to hang your coats/dress/trousers/shirt. It also had a dressing table with glasses, cups, biscuits, everything to make a cuppa of your choice & a kettle. There is a reading chair to sit & relax in too. The room was very quiet. I had my window open all night & considering there is a pub/restaurant below me, I hardly heard a peep (apart from when people were actually in the street). There was no noise coming from rooms either side of me. It was very peaceful. There is a bonus multi story car park to the rear of the property. It is an extra £15/night on a 1st come 1st served basis. However, even after your checkout which is 11am, they give you until 2pm to use it. This means you have time to have a lovely stroll around taking in the views of the centre & around the beautiful parks that are all around. The restaurant area is stunning. This is where breakfast is too. The decor is stunning (if you appreciate old architecture). There are chandeliers with about 15ft ceilings. The breakfast is abundant & delicious. You are not limited to what you would like to eat that is on offer. There's full English, cereals, continental & you have many soft drink options. When you are taken to your table, the waiter asks if you would like tea or coffee. While you go for your food (as it is self service), by the time you return, it is waiting at your table. All the staff are warm & welcoming. They are all friendly & are willing to help you with any problems (if you were to have any). I WILL MOST CERTAINLY RETURN FOR ANOTHER STAY.

The only little thing, if I were to pick any fault, is that there was no hand held scrub mitt/sponge for when you take a shower to use the shower-gel/body-wash with. For those who have long hair (like myself), there could have been a small bottle of conditioner to compliment the shampoo & shower-gel/body-wash that were available. Apart from those two minute details, I couldn't really fault the place at all.

The hotel is in a good location and ideal for an overnight stay as we were travelling back to Scotland from London. The rooms were clean and contemporary in design, nice throw and cushions. Bed comfortable. Black out curtains worked well but I slept in! Staff were friendly and helpful. We used the Fat Badger bar for drinks but ate in the dining room as the bar became quite noisy. That was a good choice, as although the dining room was quiet with just a few diners, it was nicely decorated and the staff were attentive. We will definitely stay again

The room we had was quite small and there was no fridge, or chilled water which is a personal preference. The car park was at the back of the hotel, so the assumption was, it belonged to the hotel, yet even residents had to pay £15.00 per day. Many places we have stayed have free parking if you are staying overnight.

We have stayed at the White Hart several times, and as usual it didn't disappoint. The location is great for a city break in Harrogate - everything we needed within easy walking distance. - and friendly and efficient staff. We had a Cosy Double room which was fine for a one-night stay - though we should probably have asked for a fan on the hottest day of the year so far! We had a lovely meal at the Fat Badger on-site bar/restaurant. The buffet breakfast was very good - quality ingredients and lots of hot and cold options. Highly recommended.

There was nothing we didn't enjoy about our stay.

Lovely 1 night, room only, stay Bank Holiday Sunday MayDay; booked the weekend before in a ‘cosy’ double room and paid and amazing £53. The room, the decor, the bath & shower were all to a modern, clean standard. Really nice hotel with the lively The Fat Badger downstairs for a drink in a large bar area. Again, clean but quirky decor and was quite busy for a Bank Holiday Sunday, where as other areas in the town, were not. So a popular place then, which speaks volumes! Delicious food at another local Thai eatery - The Giggling Squid - although lots to choose on the menu at the hotel’s own eatery - The Fat Badger. Interestingly, I re-priced the same booking 4 days later which had rocketed to £210 for the same room type, and again, on the same day of check-in was £70! None the less, highly recommend the hotel and a lovely little weekend breakaway.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful Restaurant, food was lovely, with a Christmas atmosphere the hotel staff were very happy and helpful, just a short walk to the town with plenty of shops and eating place's.

We asked to be put on the second floor, which they did provide, end room so very quiet, not so good with decor as the window sills had bad peeling paint and the bathroom had a musty smell. Sort these issue's out then it would make more a pleasant stay, we only stayed 3 nights and out all day. Standard room could be much better.

Location: Excellent location in the centre of Harrogate, just down the hill from Betty's Tea Room and close to all other amenities. Staff: No problems here, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The cleaning guys were really cheerful and happy to say hello. Room: The room was lovely and had a magician theme, which we didn't expect. Tea, coffee, and biscuits are provided, but you may need to request earplugs. Breakfast: Absolutely superb buffet breakfast with really good quality produce. Parking: Excellent onsiteparking facilities £15 per night, well worth the cost.

We requested a quiet room, which we appreciate cannot always be guaranteed. Sadly, we were placed in 215, which is over the front of the hotel. Traffic and revellers were noisy until midnight. Summer could be worse.
