Beautiful hotel, stylish and comfortable. Very luxurious.

Staff weren’t particularly welcoming. Two members of staff were chatting amongst themselves. Building works started SO early (just before 9am) on the room next door. Constant banging and drilling!

The room was lovely and was equipped with a fridge. Shower was fantastic as had 2 heads and could be used at same time. Provided with enough towels and toilet roll for 2nights. 5minute walk to high street/Trinity and got discount for parking at Albion Street. Staff welcoming, friendly and polite

I did not realise was situated on Greek Street which is a strip of clubs and could hear the music up til 1-1:30am (we stayed Sat-Mon). We were unable to find Netflix to watch. I just think for the value more facilities could have been available as i’ve stayed at cheaper hotels that have a gym or swimming pool/sauna etc

The staff were all lovely - there were a couple of minor glitches with my room which were sorted out INSTANTLY. Problems can always happen, and the important thing is how they're dealt with - in this case, promptly and efficiently. My room was gorgeous and very luxurious, the sofa was so comfy that I spent more time than I should have, lounging on it snuggled in the blanket watching telly. They've got an actual vegan menu, not just the usual couple of dreary options tacked onto the main menu. And a round of applause to the mocktails too. What a lovely place to spend a few days, thank you to everyone at Leeds Dakota!! 💜

This is a fantastic hotel. My greeting, upon arrival, was friendly and welcoming. My room (I had an upgrade) was beautifully decorated, comfortable and well-equipped. I was here for my birthday and it felt like a really lovely treat. I was able to work effectively at the desk and then relax in the bath. The mini bar was very welcome and the TV and sitting area a really nice place to chill out. The bed was very comfortable and luxurious. The hotel is a great location: central for Leeds but quiet at night. I can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended.

Only (slight) niggle was that I was charged a £50 deposit that was taken from my account. Most hotels, in my experience, take card details in case they need to charge for damage, which I understand, but don't take the money in advance. I was told about this on arrival and got the £50 deposit back within 3 days, but this sort of thing means I could never use this hotel for work, as the bill plus deposit would take me over my allowed budget.

We stayed at the Dakota for a birthday weekend in Leeds. I wanted somewhere central that would be comfortable and a bit of a treat as it was a special birthday for my partner. The hotel definitely lived up to my expectations, great location for everything you could want to do in Leeds, and the hotel design inside is really comfortable and classy.

There were only two small negative points. Firstly the central location of the hotel means that there was quite a lot of street noise on the Friday and Saturday nights. We were on the 7th floor and despite decent soundproofing we could still hear the revelry on the street below. If you want a quiet night in I'd recommend asking for a room on the higher floors, and on the quieter side of the hotel facing Russell Street, rather than the side overlooking Greek Street. In addition the bathroom, while very spacious with great facilities, had a walk-in shower which flooded the bathroom every time we used it. The water pressure is great as it's very high, but this causes the shower tray to overflow immediately.

We really loved the balcony room it was brilliant! Very nice space with good furnishings and amenities. Great to have an outside space and really nice to sit outside with a drink looking out over the city. The bed was comfy and all linen and towels were good quality. The staff were brilliant, the front desk were welcoming and friendly while being professional and approachable. The bar was really nice. Good atmosphere and great drink selection.

The entertainment system in the room was a bit hit and miss. When it worked it was awesome. We just needed to reboot it a couple of times.

Beautiful hotel lovely Christmas decor and smelt divine , Mince pies and mulled cider in reception area was a nice touch ! Lovely clean room and comfy beds if a little dark. Great concierge guys and friendly reception with a warm welcome

Hard to get a table in bar lounge area as the lounge area closed for private events both nights , all the staff except one guy in bar area where fabulous ! No ashtrays for smokers on terrace had to keep asking over and over again ? took a long time to get drinks one night your allowed to sit at the bar and then the next your not? too many reserved tables and no one sat on them meaning hotel guests have no where to sit !

Lovely and cozy room , very clean , great lobby, love the interior of the whole place and the warm scent they have around the hotel , didn’t get the chance to try the breakfast or the restaurant . The staff were all amazing , the concierge was very helpful and so were the front desk , all very professional and friendly . Location was excellent

The beds are too small , we booked a double room and the bed was tight for two people . Wish it had more amenities , a gym for example and more bathroom amenities like a hair dryer , bath robe , cotton pads and cotton buds .

The bedrooms were incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room to relax. I often struggle to sleep in hotels because the mattresses are either too hard or too soft—I'm very much like Goldilocks, always searching for that perfect balance. However, this was the best night's sleep I’ve ever had at a hotel. The staff were consistently kind and polite throughout my stay. I was even upgraded free of charge by a lovely staff member with orange hair who was a Sleep Token fan. She went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional, regularly checking in to ensure everything was perfect. My bags were safely stored after checkout, allowing me to explore the city hands-free. The lounge area was a pleasant touch, offering mince pies and refreshments while we waited comfortably. Added bonus: Most hotels checkout is at 10am, this hotel is 11am!

Nothing. It was perfect from start to finish.

Stayed in the garden room omg what surprise it was will definitely be booking the same room again
