Check in time at a normal hotel is 3 o'clock we did get a check in a little after 3 in A-line of about 10 people also was told that it's Check in. normally 4 o'clock. There was a lot of people in line there at that time and we're very upset it wasn't that bad because we kind of knew what they expect but I would think that would be a better process to get people checked in one couple said they had to wait in line for an hour

I said it all on the last one check in could be a lot better for everybody especially the staff they seemed like they were very overwhelmed with not enough help.

This is the 3rd time I've stayed here and the 2nd time in this room (2 queens ocean view). I brought my dog and the room was very big, large frig, micro, shared deck off room overlooking volleyball courts, beach, ocean. Can walk to restaurants, shopping, trails etc. Bathrobe and slippers provided.

Need hooks next to the shower for your towel when showering. Need a hook or small towel bar next to the sink. Need floor matts outside of both doors. Since it's an extra $35 for a pet you should provide a dog towel(s) and a sheet. It would be a nice touch to have fresh bakery items, not the packaged ones, for breakfast. A lot of stairs...There weren't any dog poop bags in the dog potty area.

Absolutely loved the location. Beach front for a great price.

We had an updated room, which was great. It was clean, modern, and had all the amenities. However when we looked at the photos we were expecting an older room with lots of charm, so it was different from what we expected. Next time we stay I will ask for an older room with charm.

CasaBlanca boasts a perfect beachfront location, with rooms featuring large windows that offer stunning ocean views—you can even hear the seals. The room is quite spacious, as is the bathroom, and both offer breathtaking views of the ocean. The amenities include a large TV, a well-stocked minibar, a coffee machine, and even a microwave, adding convenience to the overall comfort.

CasaBlanca is advertised as a four-star hotel, but based on my experience, it feels more like a well-maintained three-star. On the second day, our room wasn't cleaned, which is unexpected for a four-star establishment. The reception staff wasn’t really collaborative and smiling.

The view from rooms at the front are astounding and the proximity to the beach cannot be beat! Free parking is fantastic although they are doing away with that soon. The decor in the hotel is really pleasing and you could happily spend hours in the public areas

No room wifi (I think it wasn't working) and one of the beds had very loud springs. There is construction next door which starts as early as 6:00 a.m. . it didn't bother us but I think we got lucky. overall if you're sensitive to noise, bring earplugs because there will be a lot of street noise and the wall seem pretty thin.

We loved how close the hotel was to the wharf as well as the board walk, we also loved how easy it was to cross the street and set up on the beach. There was some construction going on but ear plugs were provided. We also loved the deck that was open to guests with an electric fire pit which was so nice to just sit at and watch the sunset or the volley ball games on the beach.

We noticed that in the bathroom after showering a brown liquid would seep up from in between one of the floor boards, was not sure what it was but it didn’t have create an odor in the bathroom. I’m not sure if it was just in our room or others.

Great location. Loved our beachfront room. Very nice and beachy hotel. Staff was pleasant and very helpful, even when I called twice after checkout to ask some questions :)

Only downfalls were the TV - unable to connect to Netflix or airplay. Tv was kinda wonky and did weird stuff. Car got broken into and very important and sentimental items stolen - absolutely not the fault of the hotel, just a product of the location unfortunately. Just a big damper on my trip :(

Victim of a violent crime relocating single mom forced to lose my son because drunk Navy seals tried to kill my boyfriend in a bar fight saved his life pulled up to Santa Cruz to find a new place and found the most therapeutic place to recover and think with ocean view private balcony overlooking the pier and the Beach less than a hundred bucks thinking about this as a excellent place to do my wedding 💍💒 now!

Nothing not to like they perfect everything 👍

I was running behind (arriving late, after-hours) and the hotel reached out to me to make sure that I had everything that I needed to get to my room. That was a very nice gesture for them to do that. When I finally got to check in the next morning, the day-time staff were equally awesome! The hotel is in a wonderful location, its on the beach nestled between the wharf/pier and the boardwalk/arcade; its a two minute walk in either direction.

There wasn't anything I would've changed.

Location, location, and location. You are across the street from both the Boardwalk and Pier. Also, downtown is just a short three to five minute drive. The view was phenomenal and definitely something you would want to experience again and again throughout the seasons! The premises and room were very well kept. The motif of the room was very appealing. The staff was both gracious and courteous. We are already making plans to come back soon!
