Its location was good for a hiker like me who was depending on public transportation and bicycles. The room was clean and spacious and it was close to restaurants, shops and the transit center.

Receptionist was awesome, gave us great details of things to do around and even gave us vouchers for the lakeside beach. I was also able to do a bbq outside without any problem.

There wasn’t enough shampoo in the bathroom.

proximity to the music venue was great. the room was huge. the staff was friendly. everything was smooth.

I didn't have any issues with my stay. Everything was pleasant and the room was clean, large, and private.

Good staff, good location. We had good neighbours. lake, skating rink and slides, everything is close.

Old plumbing, and in general the building is old, it needs updating.

Great room-good amount of space, clean, great shower and nice size bathroom with some storage, large living area cabinet with good storage, good lighting, good bed, and very good location.

Perhaps a little larger mini fridge, a little noisy from second floor units.

Pool and Jacuzzi tub. Apparently we’re out of service from my understanding due to a city permit not being active for another three years.

It was a great location, the staff was very nice and accommodating, and the value was great.

The beds/pillows could have been more comfortable but other than that it was great!

I like how close it is to the main shopping center and all of the bars are within a 5-10 minute walk. Staff is great and very nice.

Solid place to rest your head during a ski weekend. It's a small place--there were only a few rooms at the Avalon, and there was just a window, no lobby. The bed was comfortable enough and the room was pretty clean. The price was "not cheap" but beat most of the others in the area for a peak ski Saturday. You can easily walk to the gondola or casinos, and there's a good taqueria around the corner.

The heater situation was a gas fireplace that turned off and on during the night. It kinda freaked me out while I was trying to sleep. I think they have a hot tub but it was closed.

Rooms have been very nicely upgraded and makes for a great stay. There are many value properties in the area but this has been the best for us so far!!!!
