It's a good choice if you are on a budget trip. Clean, quiet, walking distance to center. A lot of restaurants nearby. There's another smaller hotel with the same name in town, so be sure to write the correct address in taxi or uber, otherwise you can be taken to a different place.

Very good location, close to the old city, with many food options nearby. The owners were very friendly and easy going, making the whole experience hassle free. The room was spotless and the shower, nice and hot.

The property is good, it was clean and hygiene

The room which I was given was too small it’s not worth the money I paid when compared to other hotels of same or even less price.. and with the price I paid I did not even get even breakfast

The location was close to main touristic places such as Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmed Mosque, Grand Bazaar. Also, it was very clean, and the stuff was very nice people.

Staff were friendly and helpful. They offer airport transfers. Good communication leading up to our stay. The room had air conditioning and lots of windows with blockout blinds. While the room is small, it has all you need for a short stay in Istanbul. Great shower head and water pressure with hot water, which was a huge bonus.

There was a lot of black mould in the shower. The fan and the air conditioner rattled loudly and the walls were thin (we could hear other peoples alarms in the morning) - but all of this was overshadowed by the very reasonable price and convenience of location.

Location was amazing -- a minute to the metro, walking distance to the Old City and the main attractions. Neighbourhood restaurant scene was vibrant and plentiful, locals are helpful, we felt very safe, lots of amenties within walking distance. Shower was great. Very quiet considering the location. Staff was very helpful and friendly in general.

The room was cramped and the pillows were very thick and bad for the neck. We asked for new pillows and were told that's all that was available. The base sheet was too small and didn't stay in position during the night, exposing the plastic mattress cover; however when the room was cleaned, that sheet was replaced by two larger sheets which stayed in place.

We loved the cleanliness, the smell inside the hallway and inside the rooms was amazing! You can view Istanbul from the terrace. Friendly and talkative staff acquainted us and made our staying here as if we were at home. Although on Fridays the area is a little crowded, you can have very good meals at affordable prices at the local, family owned, small restaurants. Search for the by walking, not necessarily by looking for them online (they don't appear online...) The staff helped us with our heavy luggage

My stay at Hotel Orkide in Istanbul was fantastic. The hotel's location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the tram station and in the heart of the old city, close to the Indian Bazaar and the Grand Bazaar. Iconic landmarks like Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace were all within a 10-minute walk. The room was clean, with housekeeping provided every 4 days, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Moreover, the staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Orkide for its convenient location, comfortable accommodations, and friendly staff.

I liked the cleanliness, location (far away from the main street which is busy and noisy), and value for money.

It can be fully booked during peak tourist season so I was unable to check in early due to my flight arrival time at 5am in the morning. However this was no problem as the staff allowed me to store my bags at the reception.

We recommend the Hotel, especially for family visits. They fulfilled our expectations, the ROOM was VERY CLEAN, the staff was very friendly, we had a coffee or tea maker, air conditioning that works perfectly, hair dryer, clean towels, slippers and bed linen and everything else that completed our pleasure in the hotel. The surroundings of the hotel do not seem so nice, but you can quickly get around and there is a tram, bus and metro nearby.
