Incredibly friendly and well-organized staff, who let us check in several hours before checkin time when our plane landed and had two rooms close together for our family all ready for us. Rooms were charming and clean, and they kindly provided water and some chocolates as an amenity in the rooms. Great location within close walking distance to the waterfront and old city.

The location of the hotel is excellent being between the bus/train station and the lakes. Everything is within easy walking distance so it suited us well. The free travel cards as part of the stay were an unexpected bonus too so we used these to get back to the airport and could have used them for other transportation if time had allowed including the water taxis. The staff on reception and in the breakfast room were all incredibly accommodating and we were very grateful of an unexpected upgrade to a suite on arrival. The room was large with a lounge and two bathrooms. Very generous for our stay and we would recommend this as an option if you want to relax particularly on a longer stay. The breakfast was very nice with good coffee, a choice of eggs cooked to order and lovely fresh bread and orange juice.

There was nothing we didn’t like as it suited our overnight stop, before heading to the airport the next day, perfectly. Thank you.

The location was great, easy walk to the train station. While the DECKER was a little star, I have to say it was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The beautiful linens were changed every day. The staff was exceptionally friendly at the front desk and very helpful. Breakfast was lovely. I could not have asked for anything more.

Depending on which way you walked away from the property, the neighborhood could get a little gritty. It will be interesting to see how the area develops as there is construction in the area.

This was my first stay in hotel d'Alleves a charming comfort hotel. I have chosen this hotel based on the excellent reviews. The hotel has a great location very close to the lake & the shopping center. Breakfast very delicious & healthy. Room very comfortable. The most important factor the Owners who are taking very good care of the comfort of the guests. Staff of the Reception, Housekeeping & breakfast restaurant are very friendly & helpful. Looking for my next stay in hotel d'Alleves.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

I was only there for one night on my way home from completing the Tour Du Mont Blanc. The hotel is in a central location minutes from the bus station which is very convenient. Pretty basic, nothing fancy, and felt more like a 3 star hotel than 4 star. Comfy bed, big windows that open, normal sized bathroom. The best part of the stay was the breakfast! It was the best breakfast on my entire trip!

I arrived around 5pm with a pretty big problem - I had just completed a 10 day trek and needed one outfit washed to fly home in on an international flight. First thing upon arrival, I asked if there was any way to wash one lightweight shirt, and pants. The answer was No. Simply no. No suggestions either. I asked if they had some detergent and again the answer to that was no. I ended up washing the outfit with shampoo in the shower and blow drying it. I expected at least some sort of help being that this is a 4 star hotel in Geneva, not a hostel.

10 minutes by foot from the train station, in a great location. Very clean. Small, only 40 some rooms. Breakfast was overseen by a very personable proprietor. Great value by comparison to the 5 star spots surrounding it.

Old school mechanical lock system means your neighbor can barge in unintentionally, if you forget to latch your door with the key. Rooms facing the main street can be noisy throughout the night. No bar or restaurant (other than for breakfast). To be fair there are spots right next door.

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful (very unusually, though I always ask for it, they had put the correct work address on the bill and noted allergy problems even before we arrived). So often people seem to be miserable, but the staff here were all delightful. The decor is beautiful, with beams, bare walls, and other lovely touches. I should add that they upgraded our room, so we had a really brilliant room. The wifi was good, the breakfast was excellent, especially the collection of fresh fruits and berries. It was quiet, a short walk from the main station and from the centre of Geneva (in between the two). I would say even that for the quality and the comfort it was good value for money.

The hotel is surprising by its decorations, one of the nicest 4 star hotels I've ever seen. The superior double room was large, included a fridge, the bathroom had all the possible amenities. The breakfast service combined serving by staff and a large buffet, including a large variety of fruits. We got at reception a detailed and useful guidance on the Geneva's region and its transport means.

Everything was perfect!

The hotel is in a building that is about 300 years old. It is very updated in a way that emphasizes the charm and style of Old Geneva. It has very interesting modern art from an earlier age decorating the rooms and hallways. It had a breakfast room that served an excellent breakfast.

I liked everything about this Hotel. However, It is a 4 star hotel without a bar or restaurant that serves lunch or dinner. However, there are some really nice restaurants within a short 5 minute walk of this hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room. Pleasant breakfast choice. Good location near the lake.

Despite having paid for a room on the top floor, the only view was of a building site. Whilst the hotel is friendly and comfortable, it doesn't feel very good value for money. Feels a little bit dated and cramped.
