Lovely location by the river. Good shopping and cafes walking distance

Most staff very helpful. Reception ok but wouldn't hurt for staff to engage. Tried hard to get a smile each time when dealing with one person. helpful but had a disinterested attitude.

Excellent location with stunning views of the river ...!! The friendly & helpful team at the reception made our stay just so awesome..

Parking is limited so it might be a hassle to look for lots late evening or after..

Great location; great receptionist who was very helpful. Self service coffee machine in the games room was my daily go-to for morning coffee.

The property is large, it was a long walk to our room; the property needs an extra lift so that entry/exit from the side street would help those located at the far end of the building. If possible avoid Room 221. The night light in the passage immediately outside our room was exceptionally intrusive; given that the venetian blinds were beyond blocking out night light. As the bedroom does not have a door, this light did keep us awake. Daily room service (scheduled after 2pm each day) was also intrusive.

Excellent location, within easy reach to facilities in the area. A few minutes walk to the ferry which can be taken across the river to Perth City. Perth foreshore is just across the road from the apartments where there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view. A lovely supermarket close by serving fresh produce of a high quality if you don't always want to eat out. The kitchen facilities in the apartment are very good. The room was very good and spacious too with a little outside area to sit in. Would definitely recommend the Peninsula Apartments.

No dislikes - apart from the construction going on near by, however we were aware of this before we booked so it did not cause us an issue.

We had the first floor panorama river view apartment. The balcony and outlook were the highlight - tremendous views and a great place to relax and watch the world go by. Great walking options straight out from the accommodation. Unit was great, comfy bed, great shower, kitchen had all the necessary bits and pieces. Extras helpful items like a standing fan. There was no door between the bedroom area - but didn't matter, the noise from the TV didn't carry into the bedroom area all that much. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Daily servicing was wonderful. Easy walk to the ferry jetty. Great supermarket just around the corner.

Only improvement would be streaming capability on the TV.

The room with the balcony with the view of the park in front and the view of Perth City skyline is definitely a bonus. 2 minutes walk to Mends Street Jetty where you can take a ferry to go to Perth CBD The room, the kitchen, the toilet are spotless clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. We had a good chit chat with Ruby. The lounge with a coffee machine is an added advantage. It even has a shower. After check out and you have a flight at night, you can leave your luggages at the reception if you still want to go somewhere else and come back to have a rest at the lounge or take a shower before go to the airport.

Seriously nothing.

We were family of 6 so we booked 2 rooms. The locations was fantastic, right across from Perth City, 30 seconds walk to the river and boardwalk, 3 min walk to the ferry which goes to CBD, and 5 min walk to restaurants and shops. 24/7 high quality product supermarket is worth visiting.

The room was small and rather dark. Although it did the job we needed, ie, each of us has own bed and sleep comfortable, the room looked a little outdated. The family room (sleeps 4) only had one bathroom attached to the main bedroom. The hotel informed us at the booking, and we were ok with it, but if you are choosing this room make sure everyone gets along well so they don't fight over it! We can hear people talking and making noise.

Great location friendly staff going over and above to help. The rooms are very clean and are serviced daily. I will stay again.

I had a situation with a lady in the laundry on my last night who claimed wrongly that I had put my black clothing in with her whites when I was doing my laundry which was false. One checks the machine before putting their laundry in there to see if it is empty which it was at the time. She also left me a disturbing note saying how selfish and irresponsible I was to put my black clothes in with her whites,I've turned her clothes grey, and signed that she was a long term resident there etc. Working in mental health as a nurse I recognised this situation immediately for what it was, apologised for something I did not do and left the area not feeding into the situation she was trying to create. This unfortunate event however has not changed my mind to come back to stay at a later date.

A very convenient location with awesome views on morning walks. Everything within the apartment worked.

Not that you could have done anything about it but construction next door starting early morning each day of our stay made sleeping in not possible. It was good to have a laundry available onsite, but maybe it should have included some complimentary tokens per room/per day stay? Also not having allocated parking meant the nightly and early morning car shuffle to avoid street side parking fees. (However, the availability of EasyPark to pay online from the room was very useful, once I figured out how to use it)

The staff from the reception to the housekeeping were excellent. All were friendly, polite, professional with smiles and lovely manners. Big thanks to everyone from all their efforts during my stay from cleaning my room to even helping me with the laundry. Then the location, which was a walk away from everything I wanted to see or do. Close to the river and the ferry or either the zoo and the myriad of quality dining spots. The Peninsular would be my top choice to stay in South Perth.

Nothing. Except for the heat which is what to expect in Perth this time of year. But the Peninsular had excellent air conditioning and the beds are fantastic! Great to relax in bed with the TV facing directly at you and the shower was of a high standard too.
