We loved the location. We adored the hosts. The breakfast was amazing 👏 The spa room was incredible

I liked the peace and calm of the Hotel , the location is excellent as the Vatican was 5 to 10 minutes walk , Piazza Del Popolo was 10 minutes and that leads to some great shops and lots of sights to be seen etc , etc . Nice restaurants not far from the Hotel's location in Prati , a nice neighbourhood .

There wasn't anything I didn't dislike as I stayed there last year and went back because I was impressed . I am already thinking of going back again for my third stay as the staff made my experience special . A shout out to Rhia and Mari for making me decaf Cappuccino whenever I wanted , thanks .

This boutique hotel exceeded our expectations. It is strategically located near the Vatican, only 10 Minutes walk to the St. Peter's Basilica and Vatican Museum and a few minutes walk to the Ottaviano Metro Station. There are lots of Restaurants, Bars, Grocery Stores and Shops scattered around the area. We booked for a Double Superior Room but we were surprised our room was upgraded to a Junior Suit Spa. The huge room was immaculate, very clean and has a distict charm, the wooden ceiling is just lovely. The view overlooking the Saint Peter's Dome is a big surpise. The bathroom/spa room, equipped with a Jacuzzi and a Finish Sauna,  is even bigger than the bedroom itself. The Jacuzzi was a treat after a long day of walking during a hot summer day. Most of the staffs are Filipinos. No wonder, they are very friendly, professional and very attentive of our needs. Special mention to the young guy at the reception who gave us a very warm welcome (unfortunatey I could not remember his name), to Pauline and Maple. The breakfast was something to look forward to. With great variety, it offers fresh, high quality products and the Staff gave an excellent service. My only concern was the airconditioning in our room, we could not adjust it based on our desired temperature, especially during a hot summer day. But over all, it was a fantastic stay. The Place 217 is really a gem at the heart of Rome. If you get the chance to book a room at this small lovely hotel,  take the chance and you won't definitely get disappointed.

We absolutely LOVED our time here. We were traveling on our honeymoon and the staff there were so welcoming and provided a wonderful atmosphere. We loved the neighborhood it was very walkable, the vatican was roughly a 10 minute walk while other popular attractions were a 30 minute walk. We had an early train on our departure day and staff were accommodating with leaving grab and go pastries in our room. The bed was very comfortable we got wonderful rest!! Please book here if you have the chance!

My only complaint is the shower drain was clogged which left standing water while using.

The two bedroom apartment was very spacious and well equipped with 3 bathrooms, a kitchen/living area, an espresso machine and some small breakfast items. It was also helpful that we could leave our luggage after we checked out. The staff is very friendly and helpful and accessible by phone.

Getting up to the apartment was a little complicated at first and requires 5 different keys. The elevator only holds 2 people at a time. However, once you do it a couple of times, it’s fine. The mattresses on the beds were not that comfortable but everything else was very nice.

Location is great if you want to be near the Vatican. Room was very big with all you could need for a very comfortable stay and very tastefully decorated. There are loads of facilities round about, local shops and lovely restaurants.

Aircon could have been better, room was ok but we like it cold. This was mid July so very hot in Rome. If like us you like to come back to your hotel for a drink following a day out, choices are limited. Beer, Wine, Fizz. There isn't a bar etc. Probably my fault for not researching properly. Location it is a 50min walk to the Colosseum, not an issue in cool weather but in 31 degrees a struggle.

Everything was so lovely!! What a gem of a hotel 💎 As soon as you walked into the reception you are so welcomed, offered a drink on arrival while we do the check in, so clean and smelt so lovely through the corridors. Our room was so beautiful, big and had a comfortable bed which we slept so well, and couldn't hear much noise. We want to say a big thank you (sorry didn't catch his name) to the young, tall man (with beard) that welcomed us and that had such a comforting approach to us everytime we saw him, he would even open the door for us, the hotel is so lucky to have you 🩵 We had the Suite with Sauna - what a brilliant room 😍 would get cleaned everyday ⭐️ Gorgeous view of the top of the Basilica 🇮🇹 Breakfast was continental and just be aware that the hotel is on the top floor... there is a lift to take you up so don't worry 🙂 Location was brilliant too ⭐️ Thank you again for an amazing stay!! ✨️

Everything was lovely ✨️

Very friendly and attentive staff. Excellent breakfast. Very clean. Large bathroom. Free bottled water. Loved the neighborhood, which was elegant and lovely and did not feel overwhelmed with tourists, despite its proximity to the Vatican. There were a lot of nice shops on the main street, as well as a number of terrific bars, cafes and restaurants on the adjoining side streets. We were able to walk to pretty much everything we wanted to see.

The room was a bit on the small size with only a rack with hangars for your clothes. No real storage provided for socks/underwear or folded clothing.

Everything was great! We had a room with a spa and sauna, it was huge! The bed and pillows were also very comfy. It was very quiet and the views from the windows were great! Although it’s a bit out of the Rome centre it’s actually a lovely neighbourhood with great shops (the nearby gelato was the best we found in Italy). It’s also very easy to get to the city (walk,bus or metro). Plaid it’s very close to the Vatican Staff were lovely and very helpful!

The breakfast was a little simple but still good!

The property is spacious and clean, air conditioning working in every room.The staff was super helpful and very attentive, accommodating an extra person last minute was very flawless. It is 10 min walking from Vatican, lots of restaurants and shops near by. It is at the sixth floor and we have noisy boys, was not a problem for them to run around. Overall very good!

The lift works only with keys both ways, so everyone have to leave the house at the same time.
