We are very grateful to manager Epas and all staff for such a wonderful 7-night vacation in Chania at the Elizabeth suites hotel. Huge living room, dining room, bedroom, two large balconies with amazing views, where we watched sunrises and sunsets. very clean hotel, rooms were cleaned every day. the pool was also very clean, the beach is literally three minutes away, restaurants and shops are also within easy reach. You can also notice that the bus stop is very close to the hotel. There is parking for cars. I highly recommend staying here and for those who plan to visit beaches and interesting places in the western part of Crete, everything is an hour and a half away by car. see you soon Crete!!!

Epas from the hotel contacted us 1 day ahead of arrival. He greeted us himself at arrival. He was very helpful with advice about restaurants and places to see. Breakfast was excellent. Epas served breakfast himself everyday. Lots of choices. One day we went to Samaria Gorge and was leaving early so Epas made us a breakfast package. I have stayed at many hotels but this was both very personal and great service through our entire stay. Would definitely stay there again if we are going to Crete. Highly recommended

Large accommodation, nicely furbished, two balconies, walking distance to Agioi Apostoli beach (a nice beach with clear, shallow water, almost no waves and zero winds). Lovely breakfast with local farmed products, served by the pool, under some majestic palm trees. Very kind staff. Private parking on site.

Guests must cross the road on their way to the beach and there are no traffic lights and pedestrian crossroads in town. However, this is not an issue as the vehicles drive slow and drivers always stop, allowing pedestrians to cross the road.

Epas and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our apartment was really nice, comfortable and spacious. The aircon was a Godsend! The swimming pool was really nice. It was a very pleasant stay.

The sun loungers and the outdoor relaxation area could do with upgrading a bit and also the breakfast and outside bar area. I didn't try the pool bike training area as it didn't really appeal to me.

We had a great stay made even more personable by Epas the owner who constantly had a smile and was very helpful and the staff were lovely particularly Anna. We had breakfast a couple of days which were more than plentiful. Apartments were in a perfect position for beaches and restaurants. We highly recommend The Elizabeth Suites made our first holiday in Crete 😊

Great, warm hospitality. Epas and his team did a fantastic job in making sure we had what we needed and was always available and responsive to any questions. Breakfast was fantastic with local produce of high quality. Pool area was pleasant and calm. Location just a short stroll to the beach and several restaurants.

The manager was great and very helpful, the room was clean and luxurious. There was cleaning service every day. The pool was very nice. I also liked the location. Very close to the beach and restaurants

I liked everything

Very spacious semi-basement studio, which kept lovely and cool, even without the air conditioning being on. Epas was a fantastic host, who took the time to recommend places to visit, including some lovely beaches that weren't even in the tourist guide books. He even advised us on buying our bus tickets from the local supermarket, which was almost half the cost of buying a ticket on the bus. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the studio was well equipped.

The pool area was partly shaded for most of the day, due to the proximity of adjacent buildings. however, this didn't really affect our holiday, as we travelled to the beach most days. Other than that, we have no complaints.

Our stay at Elizabeth Suites was 10/10, could not fault it. Property is clean, spacious, in a great location (near to a lovely beach, shops, restaurants etc) & also very quiet/relaxing. Epas is a fantastic host, who made us very welcome (even before arrival). Will definitely be visiting again.

Nothing to dislike…

Elizabeth Suites is the perfect place if you are looking for a calm and relaxing holiday. It's a family-run hotel with excellent hospitality. The owners treated us (and all other guests) like family and offered help in anything we wanted. They were always ready for some chit-chat and gave great tips to explore the surrounding area to make the best out of our holiday. All the other staff was always very friendly. One of the best thing at this place was the breakfast. We could pick from a great variety (including local delicacies) and it was personally served by the owners. Our apartment was clean and very spacious. In the beginning we weren't that pleased about the souterrain apartment, but it turned out to be a great choice in August as it never got hot (however, the apartment had great air conditioning). Kato Daratso itself is a great choice if you want to stay away from busy and loud touristy places, but it's still very close to Chania. We would happily come back to Elizabeth Suites any time!
