It was our first time at an AVID Hotel. Very clean and nicely laid out. The staff was very friendly and polite. Had a nice breakfast bar with fruit to scrambled eggs along with juices and coffee. The rooms were really nice and comfortable. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and the walk-in-shower is what this 72 year old man needed. The rooms were very quiet which to me were sound proof. I give AVID Hotel 5 Stars!!!

The only change I would recommend is that they fix bacon slices with breakfast instead of bacon bits.

Big Breakfast spread, hot/fresh food and coffee/tea/juices! Something for everyone. Also liked cleanliness of facility and location near beach and attractions. In hotel room, Liked vinyl hardwoods and clean floors instead carpet. Also liked being provided w name brand shampoos and lotions in bathroom.

Took time to get used to no closet. Hooks are ok if you’re tidy, but, if you’re not, no one wants go back to a messy room.

The front desk staffer was friendly and gave us helpful suggestions for nearby restaurants. The entrance and lobby were clean with well-arranged furniture. Our room was clean and modern. The combo blackout blind-privacy partition was perfect to block out bright lights. I appreciated the nightlight in the bathroom. The coffee system on the first floor was cool--fresh beans were ground for each cup! As a native of the area, I was delighted that such a hotel now exists so that my partner and I have a good place to stay while visiting family in the area.

I wish I could have dialed up the strength of the coffee myself. It was very weak. Our room was missing its hair dryer.

front desk attendant Christopher was very professional and sincere. Spoke eloquently and covered everything at check in. Nice to be greeted by a friendly face. Showers stocked with decent shampoo. Loved the hooks on the wall vs. closet with hangers. Beds were comfy.

walls were bit thin, could hear others. would of liked an upholstered chair vs an office chair in the room to sit in. the office chair was not comfortable. needed more hooks in bathroom. A microwave in room would of been great, although you have use of one in food area at check in. Pillows could of been better.

Didn't have breakfast. Last time I did, I was not impressed. Whatever is put out there stays out there until the breakfast bar is removed. I don't know how often they rotate the foods, but they need to do it more often.

I didn't like that I couldn't get juice. I suppose that since it's with the breakfast bar, they cut if off when they cut off the breakfast bar. Either that or once the juices are empty they don't refill them.

I have limited food options due to pesky allergies, but I was able to eat a very nice and filling breakfast due to the abundance and variety of the available foods.

Oh man I really did NOT like when the TV came on by itself 3 separate times and woke me up. :( I also did not enjoy the blinking of the fire alarm, which was distracting while trying to sleep.

Super clean and the use of Dove products in the room were a plus! Love the Bob Evans breakfast sandwiches and fresh grind and brew coffee.

We were on the third floor and all was quiet until 10pm when the people above were stomping around until midnight! The other was we couldn’t get the streaming to work. In both cases we couldn’t get ahold of anyone at the front desk.

It was very nice and modern looking. Everything was very clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was probably the best breakfast I have had at a hotel complimentary breakfast

Please put microwave ovens in the rooms. More convenient than going to the lobby. The lobby microwave should be placed on a higher counter. I had to practically get on my knees to use the oven.

Location was central while searching for a house to buy in Sussex County.

They are trying to be too contemporary and not quite making the mark so it feels cold. Breakfast wasn’t great but the coffee was good.
