Absolutely fantastic location with every high end store within easy reach. The apartment was cute and very old world with antique furniture and lovely fittings. Breakfasts were down one floor and were very good with lots of cold choices plus hot freshly cooked meals if requested. We were quite satisfied with the variety on offer. The reception staff were very accommodating, one kind lady even set up an ironing board and iron when we asked about the availability.

Wifi was patchy with a poor, and sometimes no connection. Signal strength was OK but we don't think it could cope with the number of users. We stayed during an "Indian Summer" with unseasonably warm weather. The hydronic radiators were all firmly turned off, however, they were fed by a large water pipe that circled the room and effectively heated the apartment. The air conditioners were disabled (late autumn) so we slept with the windows open.

Location, building with character. Staff friendly and efficient.

Considering they kept much of the original features of the old building, including furniture, carpets, decorative elements, you get the feeling of going back in time. Maybe this is a quality, for sure. But for me personally it felt a little bit cold and somewhat obsolete. Like for example our room had bare original parquet floors, good, but with no carpets looked and felt a bit too modest for the otherwise glorious building in the no less glorious first district of Vienna. Decorations also on the spartan side, nothing to be impressed about !

The location was on one of the best streets in Central Vienna full of restaurants and shops and main Cathedral. Short walk to museums and galleries. Public transport ( metro and buses very near). However the pedestrianized street outside was a bit noisy at night mostly with construction or city maintenance workers but if you keep the Windows closed you barely hear it. We had a lovely suite ( bedroom and sitting room). The beds were very comfortable with a very good foam topper on them. There was a heat pump for ac in the bedroom. A very nice breakfast is served each morning 7-10:30. The staff were super nice and friendly, a real family feel that this boutique pension provided. We loved it. It’s over 110 yrs as a hotel and the building is even older. I would stay again.

Nothing really

Perfect location, hospitality of the hotel crew, comfortable room and beds. The location of the hotel was really in the middle of the old Vienna street- Graben which you can walk through all museums, restaurants and monuments. Breakfast was really enough and fresh, serving crew was so kind. The payment really seems little for this kind of service.

Hotel is an old building which can be aged around 1500's. Therefore floor covers in the rooms makes noice even you walk so carefully. Even tough we really loved it.

This is a unique hotel - it almost feels more like a house. The room was large, including a small dining table with 2 chairs, the beds were comfortable, the toilet was separate from the bathroom. Lovely view out our window. Breakfast was great, including made to order eggs - which is a rarity in European hotels. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and very accommodating to all our needs. Great location on a pedestrian only plaza, near many points of interest and many cafes and restaurants.

Nothing! (But be prepared that the hotel is actually on floors 3 and 4 of a small building. Not a problem - there's an elevator - and it means no street noise! But it's a surprise if you didn't know ahead of time.)

The location is prime. Being able to walk to all the places made me glad that I opted to be there. The breakfast was good. The staff was wonderful. The is a discount for the parking garage of $30 euros insteat of the stated $50 posted price if you pay at the front desk.

We came by car - so its almost impossible to get close to the front door to unload luggage. Luckily we were traveling with my daughters who did all the transporting and heavy lifting. Also the bathtub is raised very high and a awkward to get into for an older person.

Breakfast is very nice and location is excellent for seeing the sights of the inner city.

This is the second time we have stayed there and after I get home and check my credit card there has been a charge of $10.50, which is not explained. We have never used anything from the mini bar, so is this some kind of tax. We have always paid in advance, so this extra charge is annoying.

What a beautiful building, gorgeous rooms filled with so much history. Great central location, breakfast included and wonderful, friendly and very helpful staff. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay

It was a heat wave when we were visiting so the split system air con was struggling to try and keep up but that was most places in the city. The bathrooms are a little dated but it’s a very old building so it’s really not an issue

The hotel is located in the heart of the high end shopping area of Vienna, close to restaurants and only a 10-20 minute walk to most of the museums in Vienna. The staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was a nice buffet, and we were amazed at the value of the stay in this location.

It was all good!

Exceptionally central location. The hotel room is very efficient, clean and comfortable. The shower has great pressure. Internet is fast, I was able to take conference calls from my room. Perfect accommodation for my work trip. The furniture/design are a bit dated but that is part of the charm.

No problems. If someone has mobility issues (or very big luggage) they should be aware that there are a few steps from the street level to the elevator. However, this was not a concern for me.
