Central location meaning much of the historic part of the city was in easy walking distance. Good size room, comfortable bed but the decor was tired. The breakfast was plentiful and offered a good variety of choices. We used the coffee machine in reception on a number of occasions but be aware there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms.

Liked the property but could do with some modernising. More electric points for modern living; a modern shower rather than shower in the bath. We could manage but could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues as the bath side is quite high.

Location is perfect – just a few steps from Graben. The room was clean and had all the basic necessities. Breakfast was good. The staff was very polite and helpful. There is a luggage room where you can leave your bags free of charge, which is very convenient. It was a bit strange to reach the room by walking across an open balcony and then facing a locked door, which seemed to lead to a shared space with four rooms behind it. The same key opened both the outer door and my room door. I hope this isn’t the case for all four rooms, as it might raise some security concerns. It seems the building was originally private apartments and has now been rearranged into a hotel. Rooms are clean and renovated, but overall the property could still benefit from some general renovation. Also, keep in mind that there is no body lotion or conditioner provided in the bathroom – only the very basic toiletries. Overall, I would stay here again – it’s a good value for money

The location is amazing, just a minute walk and you are in the main shopping street and near restaurants and historical sites. The family room was very spacious and had a good-sized bathroom. There was a mini fridge and coffee pod machine in the room. There was a free hot drinks machine in reception for guests. The breakfast had plenty of options, including soy milk and vegan spread. There were no hot vegan options, however.

The building has a lot of character but the rooms are old and not soundproof. We could smell cigarette smoke coming under the door from another room, which was very unpleasant. Reception staff were not very friendly, but we had limited interaction with them so this didn't really bother us.

The location is just fantastic!! Three minutes walking take you either to famous pedestrian Graben street and St. Stephan's Dome or, contrarily, to the Hofburg Palace complex. And despite suxh central location, the street noise is almost non insensible (unless you open your windows), excepting the Pummerin of the Dome.. The building itself is very beatiful from outside and it also oofers some interior decor reminding of its glory days from the 18th century. The breakfast exceeded my expectations! Even the dining room is not so big, there's a plenty of space for everyone and the food choice is very diverse and satisfying!!! The room is big and spacious, just as depicted at the pictures . The shower bath , however, is a little narrow, so overweighted people might feel some discomfort (not me).

You should know that there's no air- condition in the room! We travelled on April and it was OK with some open window at night or during the day, but I suppose, in summer it may not be so comfortable. (i was said they offer fans, but for me it's not comparable to AC). And the floor and the bed are a little creaky , this maybe due to their age (but the mattress itself is very comfortable).

Fantastic location

A little dated… check-in took a bit as the front desk person was watching the Euro Cup game and there was no luggage cart or assistance for baggage.

The location is the BEST! Located in a very unique and interesting building, just half a block from the main promenade Stephansplatz, a few blocks from St. Stephan Cathedral, Habsburg Palace, LOTS of stores, sites, restaurants etc. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Rooms were quiet. The breakfast had incredible options and a beautiful dining area.

The building is very old, literally in a historic way, so some of the access points may seem tired, along with the rooms, but you have absolutely everything you need, the room was clean and so were the beds and linens.

I had a wonderful stay at Pertschy Palais Hotel during my visit to Vienna. The location was perfect—just steps away from major attractions, public transport, and fantastic restaurants. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. A special thanks to the manager, who was incredibly kind and polite upon our arrival, and made us feel truly looked after. My room was spotless, well-appointed, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary coffee and the helpful local tips. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options to start the day. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Pertschy Palais Hotel to anyone visiting Vienna!

Ideally located hotel on a quiet side street, just steps from the very heart of Vienna. The staff were wonderful—friendly and welcoming. Excellent value for the price, with a decent breakfast included. I stayed in a single room and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was, complete with a comfortable queen bed. A solid choice for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Vienna at a good price.

The hotel may not fully live up to its 4-star rating, and it could use a bit of a refresh—but everything is so charming and convenient that it hardly matters. There’s no air conditioning, but my single room faced the courtyard, and the temperature was quite comfortable even without it. And once again—the charming staff truly make up for everything.

I returned to Pertschy for the second time in a few months, and this already says that I had a good time. I confirm that impression. If you are not interested in unnecessary luxury, but are looking for a hotel in the city centre, in an incredible location, just a few minutes' walk from everything, in a historic building, with a flavour and personality, and with excellent value for money (especially compared to the standards of central Vienna), the Pertschy is for you. You won't find refined 5-star services, but the simple things that are most important: a friendly and helpful staff, an excellent breakfast (very well organised in a small space), rooms with their own identity, simple but spacious and functional, and the courtesy of free hot drinks (coffee, tea, chocolate, cappuccino, etc.) when you return to your hotel from the cold streets of Vienna. I hope to return to Vienna, and I have no doubt that I will return to the Pertschy.

This time the wi-fi in the room was a bit of a tantrum.
