This motel has exceeded my expectations. The room was big, clean and had a comfortable bed. There was an assortment of teas, hot chocolate and coffee and the kitchenette had enough utensils and plates. The bathroom had travel size toiletries and was quite spacious. Overall very satisfied with this double room considering the price.

The room was nice & tidy lovely colors. We like to sit by the window watch taffic go by. Easy access to the shop & pub which is handy & close by.

Space in bathroom need a hook or chair for clothes. Or even a shelves for toilet bag or hair dryer cos hair dyer by the bedside table not a ideal! I like to see nice art pictures in the bathroom cos the wall look too plain. The curtains need good blank out cos the light get through wake up early..want get good sleep.

Room was light and felt open despite only 1 window. Good in room facilities, comfy beds, nice shower, and a 24 hr shop across the carpark meant cheap easy breakfasts. Location to Airport and Motor Racing Circuit was great. Approx $28-$30 Tax fares. Attached restaurant was awesome with great food. Pizza's are huge and Burgers really tasty.

The stay started well as our stay and booking started on New Years day. We were pleasantly surprised to be able to book a reasonable motel at a reasonable rate. The motel was easy to find and the proprietor texted easy to follow unit access instructions as we arrived after reception had closed. Good off street parking was available. Although the restaurant located in the same building was closed when we arrived, assuming because it was New Years day there were other options open close by. Our unit was upstairs with easy access was via a lift or stairs. The room was spacious and had an opening window. The bathroom was also spacious with a reasonable sized shower. Wall mounted electrical sockets were provided on each side of the bedhead. The unit including the bathroom was very clean. Friendly helpful staff.

There was no provision to hang clothes hangers.

The wall lingings in the bathroom could with being refreshed. Air con would be a bonus rather than a ceiling fan, a bigger tv and a smart tv would be good and a couch rather than a tub chair would have been good

An excellent place to stay. Staff was incredibly friendly and supportive. We had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The room and the bathroom were very clean and tidy. Great location. Will definitely book this place again.

Maybe could of had a sofa in the room rather than a desk and chair. When had visitors over wasn't a very relaxing or comfortable setting would be much better with a 2 seat sofa instead of the desk wasn't ideal having friends sit on the bed for a bit more comfort.

Loved everything about it

The people in the room next door to us on the phone all night shouting and having music playing. I had to get up and tell them to keep it down due to them keeping my son awake.

Good location up in Washdyke, just a 10 minute drive into Timaru town. Northpark had friendly staff and was a clean room, and a lovely modern clean bathroom. The beds were comfy. As per the photos, there is a kettle and fridge provided but just be aware the only plumbing fixtures are in the ensuite, i.e yo have to fill the kettle in the bathroom.

Operation of hot water system ,no hot water first night , very slow second night. Poor excuse offered by management.
