The hotel is a beautiful, upscale, quiet oasis set in the perfect spot for experiencing Chania. Rooms are spacious with very modern amenities and very comfortable beds. The whole hotel is spotless and well maintained (and it is only two years old). The breakfast was excellent and full of delicious Cretan specialties. View of the sea and sunset from our room and the pool deck was spectacular. We had a large jacuzzi inside our room overlooking the waves crashing against the rocks below our balcony. All staff were very friendly and helped arrange taxis and booked day trips for us. Complementary water bottles and pool/beach towels were provided daily. Very short walk in one direction to a very nice local, sandy beach that has ample and affordable sunbeds/umbrellas, many good tavernas, a pharmacy and mini-markets. About a 10 minute walk in the other direction is the beautiful Venetian port and old town full of interesting shops, restaurants and bars.

ust returned from one week at Elia Sea Suites. What can I say - it was just amazing and we really didn’t want to leave. Everything was absolutely perfect. Every single staff member was so friendly and they couldn’t do enough for us. Maria, Katrina, Phillipe, Eleni, and all the cleaning staff. There are 20 rooms and we booked a room with an outdoor hot tub which made watching the amazing sunsets perfect. Breakfast was beautiful and very relaxing. The pool area was also amazing and very quiet and relaxing. The location of the hotel is perfect too. Just a couple of minutes to the beach and restaurants to the right of the hotel and about a 10 minute walk to the old town and harbour to the left. The old harbour has a very wide choice of restaurants and is great for exploring with lots of quirky shops in side streets off Main Street. Something new to find everywhere!! I would 100% recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return soon :)

The location is great, the terrace we had offered incredible views, sunsets and sunrises and the breakfast selection was amazing.

Disappointing Late-Night Check-In Experience We were 4 ans 2 of us checked in earlier, providing all the necessary information and informing hotel that the remaining 2 guests would be arriving later at night. However, when we arrived around 1:00 a.m., the staff members on duty seemed unaware of our arrival. The situation made us feel as if our presence was unexpected. To confirm our booking, the staff member came with us entered our shared room before us where our friends were already asleep, as if he wanted to double check the situation. This felt very inappropriate and intrusive. We completely understand that staff need to ensure safety and security at all times but with better communication between staff, this very unpleasant situation could have been avoided.

This was very updated and new. The shower was lovely and the robes, slippers and extra goodies (sewing kit, shaving kit, q-tips) were great. The bed was comfortable. This was quiet expensive for one night, but the facilities were very nice. We did not have time to use the pool, but it was very nice to look at. The restaurants were walkable and it was a nice walk along the sea. The balcony had an amazing view of the sea, which went right up to the side of the hotel.

The hot tub outside was amazing, but there was no privacy whatsoever. The rooms to each side of you were in complete view. They should install a barrier to at least give some privacy to those having a hot tub outside. Do not expect to find parking if you drive here unless it's very early in the morning, as the streets are packed with beach-goers.

Our experience at Elia Sea Suites was simply exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and always attentive, making sure our stay was perfect. The room with a sea view and stunning sunset was absolutely breathtaking. The jacuzzi added an extra touch of luxury and relaxation, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was another highlight—great quality and a variety of delicious options to start the day right. In terms of location, the hotel is just a 6-7 minute walk from the port. It’s slightly set back from the busiest areas, offering a peaceful retreat. I imagine this would be even more valuable during peak season, but at this time of year, it was simply perfect. Overall, an outstanding stay with nothing but positives! I highly recommend it and would love to return.

We stayed at the deluxe suite with the jacuzzi. The room was spacious and new (the staff told us the hotel opened around August ‘24) and shower was also very big with great water flow. Location of the hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the old town in a quieter area. The view of the sea is absolutely amazing! The jacuzzi right in front of the window makes it even more magical and relaxing! The room was cleaned everyday and the staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was also great with many fresh local products (a special thanks to Eleni and her delicious loumoumades 😉)! Last but not least, upon our departure the receptionist offered us two small bottles of local olive oil which he said is from the hotel’s owner olives! Definitely a nice touch to the already great experience! Totally recommended!

Just a small suggestion, maybe some more hooks in the bathroom and a shelf above the washbasin would be ideal!

Very nice little hotel. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly and welcoming. Lovely views of the sea right outside our window.

Unfortunately there is a lot of building and road works taking place around the hotel (more hotels being built). It was quite dusty, outside in the general area. The shower frequently lost the hot water even during a shower, this was mainly in the evening.

Everything about our stay was EXCEPTIONAL. We had great interactions with all of the staff, the location was perfect and walk-able to everywhere we wanted to go, and the breakfast was hearty enough to help us not need to get lunch any of the days we stayed there. But by FAR the best part was the view from the room. Absolutely indescribable.

Any issues that we had with our stay were resolved quickly, kindly, and professionally by the staff. Every single person we interacted with on the staff was friendly and helpful.

Excellent location with a stunning sea view, allowing you to fall asleep to the sound of waves. The staff is amazing, and the rooms are impeccably clean. The outdoor pool area is perfect for chilling, with a fantastic sunset view.

Missing an outdoor bar by the pool. The breakfast options are good, but considering the quality of food available in Crete, they could improve, especially compared to other hotels in this price range. Since they’ve only been open a few months, I assume they’ll work on these enhancements to deliver the full guest experience they’re capable of.

Fantastic hotel. Little gem and adult only which was superb. Breakfast very nice. A very relaxing venue. Pool lovely and provided with beach towels daily. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels.

Very very minor point. If you’re in rooms 1-3, you are right next to reception and it can get a bit noisy especially if guests are coming back a little tipsy. Plus they provided a local spirit on the table by reception so guests stop and have a couple.
