Accommodation prices in Salzburg are incredibly high, but Levy's Rooms & Breakfast offers great value for the price. While it’s not the cheapest option, considering the convenient location, quality of service, room size, and breakfast, it’s definitely worth it. The hostel is less than a five-minute walk from the train station and main bus terminal, making it easy to reach any sightseeing spot. The rooms are very spacious, and the bathrooms are clean. Although the elevator is small, it’s adequate for use. Each entrance has an electronic lock, so security is excellent. Breakfast is the most delightful part of the experience, with a variety of delicious pastries and bread, accompanied by an array of jams and fruit spreads. There are also many types of fresh fruit and homemade fruit juices, which are all very satisfying. If I have the chance to visit Salzburg again, I would definitely choose to stay here!

The A, B, and C building signs might be a bit confusing for first-time visitors. Maybe you can attach some photos in the pre-check in email in advance.

The hotel was right near the train station and within walking distance to the old town (25 minutes). Some reviewers mention the area being a bit dodgy but it felt completely safe to me! Checking in and out was easy and we could leave our bags for a bit. The room was spacious and having a bath tub was a bonus. The bed was extremely comfy. Breakfast was really good, especially the cakes, bread, cereal and cold selection.

There was no coffee in the room, only tea, and no milk. Also there was no hand wash/soap - just an extra bottle of shampoo/shower gel (which does the job but always feels nicer to have specific hand wash). Towels are on the small side. Also breakfast is only run by one member of staff so it can take a while for items to get replenished e.g. scrambled egg. If you go after 9 there is less availability as some things e.g croissants are not replenished. Oh and as lots of others have mentioned the view is of a construction site.

The location is super convenient for anyone traveling to Salzburg by train, just 4 minutes walk from the central station. The room size is bigger than a normal hotel room for 3 people, spacious enough for 3 of us. Beds were very comfortable, even the sofa bed was comfortable too. We love the tea selection in the room. The breakfast place was a little confusing to find at the beginning, it's actually in a different building next to the one we stayed in. The breakfast was very delicious. Storing luggage in the hotel after room checkout was very easy too. We loved everything about our stay. If I visit Salzburg again, I will definitely choose this place.

The hotel is located in close proximity to Salzburg Central station. Important shops for basic necessities are within 5 minutes walk. The city center is within 1.8 km. Easy access/check-in with all important information beforehand. Staff is nice and friendly at both the reception as well as the Breakfast room. Breakfast was good and had a variety of options for both vegetarians and others. The bed was comfortable and the room had a very good heating system.

Cleaning staff could have done their part much better. We stayed three nights, but the towels and bedsheets were not changed any of the days, but just organized. Even the glass for drinking water as well as the cup we used for drinking tea was not renewed/washed, but just rinsed with water and organized to their respective orignal locations to make it appear as if was fresh. Complementary Tea bags could have been added/refilled after each room service. Missed the black tea after my first night. Some sachets of instant coffee would have been nice. The light combinations were not really good for night time: it was too bright. I expected at least one night friendly light bulb/system.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of veggie and vegetarian options, meat lovers can appreciate bio/organic quality bacon. The server during breakfast was also very polite and friendly, greatly recommended.

The reception is unstaffed. We had a problem with parking and there was simply no one to help us. There is an emergency number one can call but it went to voicemail. Similarly, we wanted to check out and there was no one at the reception to return the keycards and pay the city tax to. Luckily, we settled the payment afterwards, but expect very little service.

What an excellent gem in Salzburg! I had a different hotel reserved, but I had to change it to add my daughter at the last minute, and I found this hotel in Booking.com. The proximity to the train station was a big seller. But “let’s start at the very beginning,” we arrived one hour earlier than expected and our room was ready. Alina at the front desk took care of us and let us know all the details, where to go to drop our suitcases and where to go for breakfast the next morning. She also helped us get a Salzburg 24-hour card, gave us a map, and let us know where the hotel was located based on the map. The next day we went for breakfast next door and Maria greeted us with a smile. Maria and Sonam took care of us, restocking the breakfast buffet and emptying tables. In summary, this is a great place to stay. Superb customer service from the front desk to the breakfast area staff, excellent proximity to the train station, super clean, well-stocked with toiletries, and at an affordable price. Also, did I mention that I was able to leave my suitcases for a few hours on the day that I was leaving so I can keep sightseeing before leaving? Don’t hesitate to stay here!

Great breakfast with fantastic choice! A small toaster would have been a great addition since in my case as gluten free i travel with my own bread and after 1-2 days it would need a toasting. If you travel by train, this place is ideal, just 2 minutes to the train station and mall. For the center is quite far, but there is bus 23 to take you straight to the center.

I didn't enjoy the codes message received without any explanation! I know for them as staff is easy to understand, but for an outsider, the first Levy door they find is the one where no codes apply and there is no way to go in. You should have a sign hanging to notify guests which is the main entrance at arrival!!! A/C didnt work! TV channels useless and all in German! Not one channel in English or any other language. There is a huge construction site just in front of the building so be ware of noise.

It's just 5 minutes to the central train station. Such area is not the best one like in many other cities, but it's ideal if you need to capture an early train, and it's also not far from the historic center. There is a big construction site just across the street, however, they don't have any activity at night, also my windows looked at the yard, so it was very quiet. The breakfast was exceptional, apart from the typical hotel choices they also offered 2-3 options of porridges, and wide selection of pastries also included cheese cake.

The corridor needs a refreshment. Also I would prefer a walk-in shower instead of bath tube.

The hotel had excellent facilities there is a separate breakfast space and lounge. Breakfast was generous! You could even take away in small boxes for snacks later in the day. Most of all, it was the staff that made all this work. They were friendly, especially at the breakfast place. And they solved problems. And they smiled and were cheerful. I don't have pleasant memories of Austria, from previous visits, because of a bad experience on the train. These guys made me like Austria again.

There was an initial problem with creating your own key cards but that was fixed within minutes. That's the only thing, a minor issue.

A perfect location, just a hundred meters from the central railway station. We checked in lately without any problems. There is a kettle and various teas in the room. The breakfast was located in a separate building ~30 meters from the main entrance, but the breakfast was quite good, with porridge, eggs, and fresh juice. At first, we didn't find any information about WiFi, but finally, we connected to the WiFi network with the hotel's name. There is a baggage room, where we left our package after checkout, but no toilet is available once you checked out.
