Loved the very friendly staff greeting at the restaurant. My full breakfast was very delicious. We had a beautiful room

My wife and I were greeted with a very friendly check in lady who displayed such a beautiful smile throughout our stay. We new our stay would be a wonderful experience, and it was! We always watch cable news. Although there were channels identified and lite up on the tv screen ( FOX for one), the tv monitor was sketchy with no sound or picture during our stay. We do not watch CNN or MSNBC! The tv was very small and located too far from our bed. We had to watch while sitting in the two room chairs. This may be something to check on that have larger rooms. Our room was beautiful that also included with a balcony. The room was very clean, too!

Gorgeous property and has actually been renovated and doesn’t look like the photos but it’s even better! Everything was clean and it was so nice to relax every night near a fire inside it outside. The bar tender was exceptional and super friendly every night! This was the best experience we’ve ever had at a hotel and honestly we’re picky. Even the elevators were perfect and they had some of the cutest lobby bathrooms I’ve ever seen. It’s in a great spot with an amazing breakfast restaurant next door and you can walk down to the strip easily. Can’t wait to stay here again! 100/10

Only complaint would be that the pillows are waaay to soft and slippery but that is it.

My daughter and I came up for an overnight stay. We live 2 hrs away so we frequently come up to Gatlinburg for a quick getaway. This was our first time staying in this hotel and we are definitely adding this to our list of favorites!! The hotel is a 8 min walk to the Parkway strip. We arrived late (10pm) but we felt safe walking to the strip and back for dinner. The hotel has beautiful landscaping, an inviting lobby with a fireplace. The rooms are spacious, very clean and the decor is very nice. Free parking was a plus as we could walk to anything on the strip. We had a great view of the space needle and sky bridge from our balcony. I think this has to be one of the nicest, most updated hotel we’ve stayed in since Covid. Great job Marriot. The Booking.com room upgrade was nice perk!

Just a few minor issues we had with room 218, the shower only had scolding hot water and I had issues with the main light in the bathroom. I tried the light switch several times and the light would not turn on, however my daughter came in and it tried and it immediately worked for her. So, it might be faulty. We decided to leave the light on all night just incase it wouldn’t turn on again. The beds were a little hard for our liking, we both woke up stiff, but the pillows were amazing! My biggest complaint was with the Booking.com listing. It listed it as a 1 Queen bed with balcony. I had to call the hotel directly to confirm there were actually two queens. Seemed several of the rooms were listed incorrectly.

Everything was clean and comfortable. Location was great for shops, entertainment, and convention center. Parking was sufficient for the trip.

No all day coffee available unless you pay a premium price for onsite Starbucks. Room coffee was horrible with the tiny coffee maker available. You’d think this brand of hotel would do better, at least the other hotels of same brand have better options available. I went out and got instant as a backup plan. For the cost of the hotel at a convention weekend where prices are above and beyond the average nightly rate, coffee is at least a minimum service. I also ate outside the hotel due to the cost of the onsite restaurant menu. I guess you really pay for proposed convenience.

Location Location Location! Rooms were clean and spacious. Room service was attentive and quick. Breakfast bar options and lounge were great. Outside fire pit and jacuzzi were lovely and the staff was very nice. We will be back!

I should have spoke up day one that the pillows in our room had zero “fluff or firmness”. I’m sure if I would have brought this to the attention of the staff they would have handled it with grace. So it’s on us for not saying anything. Other than that. The rooms and comforts were spectacular.

The rooms were modern and updated. The bed was comfortable. Nice big shower with great water pressure. It was great having a microwave and fridge. I like how it was hidden, keeping the room looking sleek. Staff was very helpful. It was great having a full bar and bistro in the lobbynwith Starbucks. I posted the view from our room. It was nice, especially at night.

I didn't like that Starbucks wasn't available all day. It closed mid-morning to late evening. 😦

A couple of items were added to the bill that I assumed were free - parking ($24.57) and use of my Mastercard (34.02). I also received a small bill ($15) from the restaurant that was not expected. It was probably for a small overage on the $30 allotment for breakfast but I don't think it amounted to $15.

A little further from tue strip than we thot The parking lot was full. Maybe to small for the amount of rooms, hard to find a spot, even for our motorcycles. Maybe people not staying there taking them up, not their fault, but maybe more managed would help that.

Eating area was really nice. Seating area was nice. The staff were friendly. Room was nice. Bathrooms were nice,

Beds were hard an less comfortable as I would have liked. And the Police was doing something weird outside at 2 am using the sirens. Not sure what that was about.

perfect vacation stay, not a far walk from tons of things to do, oddly smelled GREAT when you walk in the door it just SMELT clean, also the shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided by the hotel in the shower made my hair feel GREAT it wasn’t anything cheap in little bottles like typical hotels I would definitely stay here again.

the hot tub was not very hot and jets wouldn’t work for us which no big deal, also the pool is indoor only not outdoor but that’s great if it’s a chilly day.
