It is located on a quiet, central street that is traffic-free. On the street, there are restaurants and cafes. Five to ten minutes walking will take you to Lake Leman, historical sites (such as old city, Saint Pierre Cathedrale), and shopping areas. The bus stop (Metropole) for buses number 5 and 10 to the airport is 5 minutes walk away. It is a fast and economical way to get to the hotel (it takes 25-30 minutes, 3 CHF). On the ground floor, there is a nice restaurant. Room was clean, spacious, and quiet. The staff are attentive and helpful.

In 34°C heat, the lack of air conditioning was a problem. A fan is insufficient for cooling. Safe was not working and it could not be repaired during my stay (room number 1402)

Room was not well designed, not very comfortable. Breakfast was very basic, no healthy alternatives

The bedroom has high ceiling and is well furnished. Very comfortable bed. Bedroom and bathroom are first rate and clean. good supply of water which was appreciated. Loved that windows could be open and nice and airy. Restaurant is excellent (evening) ambiance is really nice and choice of food etc is first rate. Annex was really cosy and felt very secure.

No coffee machine in room which is a basic essential (should be in all rooms/ not some) Reception area is not very welcoming, rather messy. Effectively there is no lounge/salon for guests only a small area in the reception (so not relaxing). Price varies drastically from day to day which means you may pay 150 one day and 450 the next for the same room! Whilst this may be an algorithm it does not work. All hotels in Geneva follow the same system with no consideration for their clientelle - really bad for business, I suggest this is policy is reviewed.

I really didn’t expect it to be this wonderful, the rooms are so beautiful well decorated, so clean it made me feel so comfortable as someone with ocd problems, it had a heating rack in the bathroom that helped in drying and worming the towels, it didn’t have an ac but it was cold when i visited, the staff was so welcoming and helpful, the hotel is located in a really nice location right behind it there is a starbucks cafe and next to it a walking distance the garden of angels. It was so convenient as i had a prior booking for a trip to the alps months and the meeting location was a 12 minute walk from the hotel, i was going to Paris afterwards with the train and the station was a 10 minute ride with a taxi . I can’t recommend it enough, everything was just perfect and i will definitely stay there again. Thank you so much especially sarah .

The hotel has been beautifully renovated and feels incredibly cozy. The location is unbeatable. Highly recommended.

I’d prefer not to point out anything negative, but I feel I must. It’s hard to accept that a hotel of this quality (and price) still doesn’t have air conditioning. While there was a standing fan (a bit rough), it really wasn’t enough given the recent heat in Geneva to reach a comfortable temperature, which made the nights somewhat less pleasant than expected.

Location was excellent.

It was very hot weather and since there is no air conditioning we needed to open the windows. Only one window opened. The other one was purposely locked shut. We were on the first floor so I don’t know if it was a security issue but they said it was because we were on the first floor. That was all we were told. . They gave us a fan for the room which did help the situation. They also provided a lot of bottled water chilled in their refrigerator. Which was very appreciated. So there was an attempt to make us more comfortable.

Large rooms, pleasantly decorated. Friendly and helpful staff. Nicely placed in regards to the Jardin Anglais with it’s flower clock. Close to the main shopping street. Easy to get to.

There wasn’t any air conditioning in the room, so it was sweltering hot in the room. They promptly addressed the problem the next day, by bringing a fan, but it was a shame for the first night. Check-out is also pretty early (11am) compared to other hotels that leave you until noon.

the restaurant outside has a nice ambiance and the food is excellent, great selection and well priced, so worth a visit. beds/bedrooms are comfortable and windows open to street so nice ventilation

rooms (no aircon) but fan provided so was fine no coffee machine in room but i see that it is in other rooms the reception area and entrance is not in keeping with the rest of the hotel at all (feels very underwelming and messy)

The location of this hotel is great for exploring Geneva. Close to the lake and the old town as well as the Jardin Anglais (Flower Clock) and transport links. The hotel is clean and had a nice feel to it. The hotel staff were really friendly and ready to help. Our room was ready early which was a real bonus. The room was really comfortable and facilities were great. Good shower, comfortable bed, coffee pod machine and fridge. There is an honesty bar near reception for snacks and drinks. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect hotel for exploring Geneva. Central location to all main tourist attractions and lots of public transport within walking distance. The room was lovely and the bed and pillows were super comfortable perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking. Would definitely be back! Special mention to all the reception staff as they made mine and my fiancés engagement magical, we were given a room upgrade free of charge. The room was decorated with petals, candles and the beautiful red Roses which my fiancé loved. They were very attentive and discreet and all was done without her finding out until we got back to the room late at night.
