The room was clean, modern and well furnished to a good standard though simple. The hotel was very close to the station, cafés, bars and restaurants but far enough away not to be bothered by the noise. Staff were helpful and friendly. The buildings original lift was particularly enjoyable and added a rustic charm. Will definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely visit.

The bar wasn't open, although this wasn't really a problem as close as the hotel is to surrounding establishments. Cannot fault anything else!

The room was very quiet despite the hotel is in the center of Rotterdam. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very spacious. The personal was very pleasant and helpful.

It's an old hotel in the city with a point of renovation. The elevator should be also renewed as it gives a bad impression upon arrival. An hairdryer would be appreciated in the bathroom. The paper cup for coffee in the room could be replaced by porcelain one.

The hotel was very good. Its location in the city center made things very convenient for us. The room offered excellent value for money—spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows, a private bathroom, and everything spotlessly clean. We had an issue with the heating, but we didn’t feel cold because the building was quite warm, and the receptionist gave us extra blankets, furry robes, and two free drinks each. I would choose it again.

The location, the shower end very nice, hot and pleasant water, the staff was helpful when we found an alive mouse in the middle of the night in the room. They offered to change the room and we got an upgrade room.

Hygiene issue due to invasion of mouses on that street as it was explained. Not sure it was a temporary issue or it is a permanent one. One mouse was noticed in the corridor on our arrival and after 1 day inside the room one mouse during the night...

the location of the facility is excellent because it is located perfectly in the center. The staff was very helpful and allowed us to check in earlier than 4:00 p.m.The room was clean and well-kept

The minus was that the room was cold, but after turning on the radiator the room warmed up. Another disadvantage is the thin walls, which meant you could hear other residents, but it wasn't too problematic.

Really couldn't fault this hotel. Great location 5 min walk from Centraal station. Room was standard but impressive. Spent a little extra to get a room with balcony to smoke on, well worth the money, will be back. Almost do not want to rank it so highly incase demand increases and they raise prices 😂

Lift system is a bit archaic but no worse than others I've seen in the Netherlands.

Only down side was the noise at times trying to sleep did eventually stop but I would say the rooms aren’t the most sound proof

Located in the center of Rotterdam, good place to visit the stores, a supermarket located in 1 min walk, and the train station at 10 min walking.

In the middle of the night was very noisy at some point, don't know what happened. Both nights in the middle of the night was very noisy waking me up. Otherwise, all good.

Generally my experience was good. Even though it's a very old building, with more than 100 years of age, I encountered no problems.

I didn't like the lack of mosquito nets in the windows, because when I opened the windows, a lot of mosquitos were coming inside. Rotterdam is well known for its humidity

Although looking a little tired the hotel had everything I needed. It wasn't far from Rotterdam Centraal Station and I found plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. The hotel was quiet, which I appreciated and the curtains fully blocked the light.

For my stay it was fine but I noticed there was only Heating not Airconditioing which might be a problem in warmer weather. It is an older hotel and I'm guessing is due for renovation shortly. Being City Centre there wasn't a view but that was a small price.
