Dave’s friendly welcome, the location was so good, it was better on arrival than its photos depicted. Even though it was an older motel it had everything we needed, was extremely clean, we could walk to shops & restaurants…..a perfect spot to enjoy the sites of Whangārei!!

The proprietors were friendly and helpful. There was onsite parking. The room was quite spacious and bathroom/shower/toilet facilities were good ( lots of hot water !!)

Everything was great. . .my only suggestion would be that washing and drying facilities would have been appreciated.

Dave was an extremely kind, considerate and gracious host and we had a wonderful 10 days at Stonehaven. The facilities were comfortable and plentiful, the views from our room were beautiful, and the Sky channels were an unexpected bonus. Thanks so much!

- Great location with two supermarkets, cafes and restaurants within a short walk. - Just a decent stroll from the waterside Hatea Loop. - Comfortable, well maintained and immaculately clean rooms. - Very nice beds. - Off-street parking with assigned spaces for your vehicle. - Good service.

My family was in town at short notice for a funeral. All our requirements were able to be met at Stonehaven. It's central location was ideal for our situation, and the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Facilities completely suited our purpose, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Excellent value for money.

Lovely motel with comfy beds and plenty of kitchen utensils and white goods. Enjoyed our stay. Owner and staff are lovely. I needed one or two extra items and it was no problem I just went to reception and asked. Lovely area. Whangerai falls are beautiful.

1) The motel is perfectly situated as it is just 3-minutes' walk away from the church we visited. It is in close proximity to all other shops, too. 2) The staff has been as friendly as ever (this is our third time staying in this motel). 3) Facilities were basic and just right for our needs.

Just a tiny bit. Perhaps provide bighter (cooler, not warmer) lighting esp. for us who could not see well when the sun goes down - maybe not in the whole unit, but probably in some areas in the room.

Everything! The owner is friendly and helpful. The apartment was well appointed, quiet and spotlessly clean. We were able to park right outside which was great. Sky channels were a bonus too! Convenient for two large supermarkets just down the road and the Waterfront, which is an easy walk away. Highly recommended.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. Nicely appointed kitchen. Fresh towels each day. The motel was very close to town and restaurants. The plug in the bathroom wasn’t working and this was fixed immediately.
