Really great, quiet, well-thought out cabins to stay in. The complimentary bottle and treats were a lovely touch. The toiletries are great. All round it was a wonderful one-night stay.

The booking.com listing said that the cabin itself had a washing machine - we’ve been travelling for 3 months so I had a tonne to get through, and I booked this place because I’d seen that it had an in-unit washer. We got there and saw there was no washing machine in the cabin, but just one to share between all cabins which was a big let down. I messaged the owner about this when we arrived but got no response at all.

Blissful! That feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere... but still reasonably close to shops and 10min from Airlie. The birdlife each afternoon is spectacular plus spotting a bandicoot on the last night in my cabin was special. Beautifully decorated cabins, clean, extremely comfortable bed in the Cockatoo cabin! Uber Eats difficult to get, no fault of the cabins, just a hot tip for people reading this if you have had a vino or two and can't drive

Away from the hustle and bustle of Airlie Beach, the cabins are in a real woods with the complete quietness except for the sounds of birds and insects. No light pollution, a perfect place for gazing the night sky... The room is well equipped. Though we had never met the owners, the manual they prepared is super derailed and the information very useful.

The faucet of the shower has a design defect (this surely is not the owners' fault) that makes it have the ring effect. The ring is so wide that there's no water in the center area, not very convenient for a shower. Also this place is so humid that our clothes washed are not dried after 3 nights and 2 days. This is probably related with the season and ecosystem here but maybe a dryer can be useful under this condition.

Wonderfully peaceful location right on the edge of town. The cabin was the perfect size for the 2 of us. The wooden deck with long bar table, stylish decor and high-quality bathroom and kitchen fittings made it feel beautifully cozy and calming. Easy access and great communication. We used the outside bbq and cooked some dinner, and were grateful for the well appointed kitchen where it seems most everything had been thought of - even mosquito coils! The toiletries were a lovely treat too - smells divine. We caught the feeding of the birds in the late afternoon, which was cool.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best Stay Ever – Beyond Expectations! We have stayed in many accommodations, but this one truly deserves the best review! It has everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay – a cozy and well-equipped cabin, a beautiful setting, and, most importantly, outstanding hospitality. We initially booked for three nights but had to extend day by day due to extreme weather and car troubles. Jenni, who manages the accommodation, was an absolute gem! She was incredibly helpful, flexible, and always available whenever we needed anything. Her kindness and support made all the difference, turning what could have been a stressful situation into a truly special experience. This place is a rare find, and we couldn’t have wished for a better stay. Thank you, Jenni, for everything – we will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Beautifully appointed to a very high standard, clean, comfortable and well stocked accommodation. Idyllic location a real treat for lovers of nature. Tranquil and sympathetically placed cabins that make you feel part of the surroundings rather than intruding into the natural habitat. Wonderful to watch the wildlife. Friendly staff, particularly Tina who we enjoyed meeting.

One of the guest groups was louder than the rules required. We were impressed however, after we mentioned the problem it was dealt with very effectively, thank you.

Beautiful cottage surrounded by nature. Very quiet and peaceful at night. The kitchen had all the necessary supplies to cook simple meals. It was thoughtful of hosts to supply bug spray, flashlight, beach chairs and beach towels. Convenient to have (free) laundry on premises. Hosts put food out for birds in the early evening attracting cockatoos and kookaburras.

It was a bit far from downtown Airlie Beach. A couple of minor inconveniences with the cottage - no bath mat so water from our shower made the bathroom floor wet. The light from the smoke alarm(?) in the middle of the cottage was very, very bright making it difficult to fall asleep. Saw hosts around property but they didn’t introduce themselves. Would have been nice to have met them.

My wife and I stayed at Airlie Beach Eco Cabins over two nights over the period 4-6 Sep 2024. We had not visited Airlie Beach for over 19 years and the last minute nature of our booking as we headed south meant we were restricted in choice of accomodation. Our search revealed The Eco Cabins and we are so glad we decided on this establishment. While it is out of town it is not far from any amenities we required. The setup of the various cabins with their various themes is really clever, we stayed in one of the two rear cabins and were very pleasantly surprised by the size and homely feel of the cabin. The hosts have gone to a lot of effort to make you feel comfortable and we loved the lovely thought of providing welcome bubbly and chocolates. The Kitchen is well setup and has supplied basics I have never seen throughout our stays such as vegemite, cooking oil, butter, coffee bags and tea. The cabins were clean and had tasteful furnishings, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern and functional. One of the strong points for visitors would be the wildlife, there was bush turkeys, swap wallabies, Kookaburras and various other birds. The hosts feed the birds each afternoon in front of the cabins. A firepit is outside each cabin and a small quantity of marshmallows are supplied to toast if that meets your fancy. We highly recommend this establishment as the place to stay in Airlie Beach, we felt at home and very welcome.

We only had a single criticism and that was the mixer tap in the shower had the handle missing which made it interesting to activate the shower and get the temp right, once we worked it out however it was all good. The car parking spot outside the cabin we had was tight for a Ford Ranger but any smaller car would be fine.

Absolute comfort and privacy, cozy cabins set amongst beautiful bush landscapes, we stayed in Bandicoot Cabin and it had everything needed for an amazing and relaxing stay, John and Alison have thought of everything to make your stay extra special, champagne and chocolates in the fridge on arrival, small camp fire pit outside of each cabin, firewood, camp chairs, torch and marshmallows supplied, beds are very comfortable so good nights sleep too, we were lucky enough to see some of the wildlife around the property including a bandicoot who wandered near our cabin - we absolutely loved our stay here and appreciated the special touches, thank you 😊

was so peaceful, the scenery and wildlife was absolutely amazing, the privacy for each cabin is exceptional. Can’t wait to come back. At one stage we accidentally locked ourselves out and with a phone call and about 2 minute wait we were back inside. The staff are absolutely incredible coming around in the morning to refill bird baths and lay down bird seed.

Can’t fault anything, although we did have to clean the aircon but it’s a 2 min job so we didn’t mind :)
