Everything. The location is superb, the views were stunning, the self-check-in worked flawlessly and when I needed help with the airco, Tommaso, the owner answered within 5 minutes. The property is nothing short of breathtaking, and it is not far from the lodging into Florence (apparently - I did not try). There was a VERY warm welcome for my dog. Breakfast was served by the owner himself, and he was more than friendly with very good English. I have travelled extensively and this find was really exceptional. Bravo!

There was just one thing : I am very sensitive to electrical motors and there was a constant hum from the other side of the otherwise very quiet road - my windows looked out directly that way. This is a small niggle though : don't be put off! Go there and experience this wonderful place for yourself.

We stayed two days at the B&B, the place is very beautiful and clean, the room window offers a very impressive view. The room is large and comfortable, we were pleased to discover that the fridge had sweet drinks, soda water and coke, all for us and for free. The host is a nice and kind person, trying to be attentive and respond to the needs of the guests. The breakfast was delicious and precise, the host adapted the meal to our request, very generously. We enjoyed it very much, we will definitely return.

The shower faucet handle was broken and fell off several times, it seems that there was an attempt to fix it but it worked partially. In addition, we asked for extra pillows, the host explained to us that there was a family with children before us who really dirty the pillows and they were sent for cleaning, he apologized several times for that. We really believe him and the apology is accepted. But as the owner of the house, he should have spare pillows for the guests, no excuses. Unfortunately, the result was that we slept on one relatively thin pillow and it was uncomfortable.

Staying at Poggio Baronti B&B was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. This charming property is nestled in the Tuscan hills, offering the perfect mix of countryside tranquility and proximity to Florence. We arrived by train and got a taxi to the property. We loved the peaceful setting and incredible views from our room—it felt like a dream. The breakfast was exceptional, with fresh, delicious options every morning. We didn’t rent a car and decided to use the bus system. The bus stop was about a 15-minute walk down a somewhat busy road, but we didn’t mind the walk as we enjoy walking everywhere and found the bus system easy to use. If you don’t want to walk uphill, you would probably need to rent a car for this area. Tommasso, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful, even arranging an early morning taxi for us to catch our train. We appreciated his hospitality and the convenience of getting bus tickets from Bar Mario in town. We’ll absolutely stay here again when we return to Florence!

Absolutely amazing stay! The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The location is perfect and charming. Every corner of the building radiates that authentic Florentine vibe — truly breathtaking. Everything was spotless and extra clean, the atmosphere was cosy and relaxing, and the garden added a beautiful touch of serenity. Breakfast was superb — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. If we could give it a 12 out of 10, we would. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Florence!

I highly recommend this place. We loved everything! A very warm welcome from Tommaso, a great personal approach to everyone. We received a lot of advice on where to go and ate very tasty home-cooked food, including a pie baked by Tommaso's mother. The best pie I ever had! The view was simply divine. We were on a mini trip in Italy and in this place we rested and felt harmony in our souls the most. By car it takes less than 20 minutes to reach Florence. Thank you so much Tommaso, we will definitely come again. :-)

The only thing I regret is that we took only 2 nights to stay there. Next time we will stay longer!

Tommaso was a very kind and attentive host. The location was perfect. The garden is amazing, we spent several afternoons just chilling there listening to the chirps of 20+ different kinds of birds. The complimentary minibar in the room is a nice touch. Breakfast was good.

We couldn't use the jacuzzi because it had animal poop in it - the jacuzzi is often kept open and indeed sometimes animals find their way in. The AC also didn't work in our room which was not a major issue during our stay because of the weather, but could make the stay very uncomfortable in a different season. ps. taxi drivers in the area seem to get lost a lot, so if you need to book a taxi, factor in a lot of time in advance. We used taxi drivers twice, once we were 40 min delayed, the other time an entire hour. This is nothing to do with the accommodation, rather the drivers, but it's good to know, given the location.

We liked everything! The room was big, clean and just very cute. The view from our room was beautiful we loved looking out our huge window in the morning. The breakfast was delicious and very filling. Tomaso was such a good host and so attentive of everyone at breakfast. He remembered our order! He was also so nice and asked us about our plans for the day and gave us suggestions to add to it. All of the suggestions were great we loved exploring the small towns nearby. The cleaner tidied our room every day which was so nice, she also restocked our fridge every time we drank something from it. The location is perfect just 10-15 minute drive from Florence. We rented a car and parking at the B&B was easy. Tomaso also gave us a helpful parking tip for Florence. The little town that the B&B is in was great as well, a nice clean laundromat, pizza, grocery store all nearby. Tomaso also gave us some restaurant recommendations we tried one and it was lovely and really fun driving up the mountain to it. This was one of the nicest places we’ve been it really felt like home!

Nothing it was perfect!

One if the best and kindest host. Greater us to an incredibly nice room. With probably the most comfortable BnB bed we have slept in. Breakfast was amazing with omelet, charcuterie board, your choice of coffee or capuchino and some dolce fresh delicacies. Beautiful facility close to Center of Firenze, host advised us where to park and walk into Firenze and well worth the walk versus fighting to find parking plus the traffic. Absolutely restful stay, definitely recommend

It was a really nice stay! The host Tommaso is super helpful, he gave us some really useful recommendations (for parking in Florence, which could otherwise be quite expensive and/or weird). The breakfast was really good, the room was very comfortable and the parking was just in front of the place. The city of Florence is just a short drive away. Definitely would recommend!

Everything was perfect at Poggio Baronti. First of all, Tommaso is the perfect host, always friendly and ready to help. The accommodation is a beautiful villa, set on a hill near Florence, at 15 minutes car ride to the city center. It also has a beautiful garden where you can relax after visiting the city. The rooms are beautifully furnished, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is rich and tasty, with local products. There is also free parking available at the location.
