Excellent location. The rooms were quiet and air conditioning was very good.

On check out, the desk clerk tried to charge us for two breakfasts, claiming we had two people join us for breakfast (we did not). This was not the case, and was a bit aggravating when we paid for breakfast on the last morning but had to check out before breakfast was served. The desk clerk did relent, but it left us with a bad last impression. Hopefully they develop a better system for determining who has breakfast. Otherwise the stay was very good. I would still go back despite this incident.

Like new, completely renovated last year. Room was very nice, well-laid out and very clean. Bathroom brand new and modern, with rain and hand-held showers. Only staying for the weekend so thought Standard room would do and I was correct. Loved our room. Additionally, hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful; excellent service. Don’t miss the Welcome Canele, so delicious! Another strong plus, the hotel is extremely well-located. Right smack in the heart of Bordeaux, walking distance to historic sites, beautiful churches, restaurants and 2 blocks from St Catherine Rue, the main shopping street. It’s almost next door to the Tourism Office and the full-day Wine Tour I took met 3 minutes away at a famous landmark. Highly recommend this hotel.

Brand new hotel ! Ideal location for visiting Bordeaux. A stone's throw from the grand theater, shops and Saint Pierre district where there are many restaurants ! We highly recommend !

Small boutique hotel in a fantastic central location right next to the Opera House which we were going to. Lovely helpful staff, immaculate rooms and a good shower. Second time we have stayed here and the third for my brother and sister in law and Ted their dog gets to come too.

Nothing really, we will book a larger room next time. Breakfast could be a little more adventurous but it’s fine and they did accommodate my husband who is a Coeliac(no gluten). Overall a really nice hotel.

The staff were superb. We arrived early because of a very early flight, and they were able to give us a room. We appreciated that so much. The breakfast is very lovely. The small bar is a friendly place with more great staff. The location couldn’t have been better. The beds were very comfy.

We couldn’t get the Keurig coffee maker to work. The plug in the bathroom was wonky and I almost gave up using it because there was a disk that prevented making a good connection. And the faucet leaked at the wall when you turned it on. Still, these are minor in view of all of the superb things.

Excellent location, central and walking distance to places we wanted to go. One block from the tourism information center and tram station. We had a rental car and parking was easier than expected. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was very charming and newly renovated. The rooms are quite nicely decorated with simple furniture. We especially like the reception area where we had a place to chat with friends over coffee after a long day out. The cookies and sweet were delicious. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Perfect location next to Quincones Tram intersection, so super-easy to reach everywhere, including airport, via trams and buses, or walking around old town centre. Really quiet on a side street. Very comfortable. There was free coffee and a chilled water dispenser in the lobby.

I take off one star for lack of comfortable public seating area around reception (it was minimal) and because at E18, the breakfast looked not great in terms of value for money. Overall, it was little bit more expensive that we usually pay, but it compared well to other hotels and we would recommend it.

We liked everything! Super clean room with very comfortable bed at the heart of Bordeaux city. The breakfast had a good selection of things, the room was very quite and they even had a cot for our little one. The staff at the reception were all super friendly and with a smile on their face always. There is a private parking 3 mins away which helped a lot since we have rented a car. Overall staying at Majestic hotel was trully amazing. Thank you for everything!

The hotel had just been refurbished a lovely old building given a very striking contemporary makeover, the rooms were lovely, clean and spacious with good showers. It is very well situated for exploring the city on foot and right next door to the Opera House. Although the hotel does not have a car park there is a large underground car park nearby and the daily charge rate was reasonable. We had a small dog with us whom they were happy to accommodate. The breakfast was a continental breakfast and as we had three Coeliacs in our party they were happy to provide Gluten Free Bread.

This is a terrific, quiet modernized accommodation located between the end of the old town and some nice parks. The parks had tram lines and river public transport to other places. The attention to detail in the room's design (lighting, doors, quiet, preserved high french-door windows, uncluttered space) was masterful--among the best I've seen in a boutique four-star hotel.

The wifi frequently dropped, but maybe this was because we were at the end of a hall on a high floor Price was a bit higher than we normally pay, but the exceptional pleasantness of the place made it worthwhile.
