The property was newly renovated with beautifully selected and styled interior. It had lots of space within all rooms of the apartment. It felt very secure and had a charming garden area outside. I liked the bespoke beds which were very comfortable, the use of the original stone fireplaces throughout with the mix of modern practical appliances such as a boiling hot water tap and coffee machine. The colour pallets used within all rooms including the beautifully tiled bathrooms were really well chosen making the apartment really flow like one space.

My wife and I stayed over this weekend for our wedding anniversary and our experience was fantastic!! Class oozes right throughout the accommodation from entry through the security gates through to our well thought out apartment. When you’ve got a perfect coffee maker you’re on to a winner, a small touch but again classy. Neil was very welcoming and accommodating and was there for any help we required however not necessary as the team had already got everything covered. As we drove through the electronic gates and parked in front of that jaw-dropping building, I had a hunch we were in for a treat. And boy, was I right! The apartment at Railway House was off the charts stunning! Let me tell you, that bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and wait till you hear about the showstopper – a massive copper bath right in the bedroom! I booked this place for a romantic city getaway, and my wife couldn't stop grinning the whole weekend. That copper bath was a total knockout! The whole place was decked out like something out of a magazine - top-notch interior design that had us feeling like we were living the high life. Every corner of that apartment was a feast for our senses, and we couldn't get enough. Were coming back for more and next time were going to try out another of their awesome apartments. Oh, and let me give a shout-out to Neil – that chap was super helpful, hooking us up with awesome local tips for the best restaurants and must-visit spots. He sure knows how to make guests feel at home. This property was the real deal, no disappointments here! It made our romantic getaway one for the books, and we can't wait to come back for round two at this gorgeous spot

We loved the building and the apartments are of a high standard and well equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay. It was great to have access to a garden allowing us to sit outside with a bottle of prosecco, which was kindly provided by the host! We were warmly welcomed by Neil and he took the time to show us to the apartment and provided useful information about the local area. A bonus was the ample onsite parking and the security of the property with gated coded access to the grounds and building.

Interior was absolutely beautiful, very well designed, bright and spacious. Kitchen very well equipped, hot water tap was fabulous, washing machine (though we had no tablets provided to be able to use it) and dishwasher great when staying with a baby! Cot and highchair provided as requested. Bath house toiletries 😍 smelt out of this world!! Plenty of car parking available, property felt very secure, gated/ with code. We had a lovely bottle of prosecco waiting for us on arrival, it went dwn a treat 😁

We felt like the apartment wasnt fully finished yet. It lacked privacy, we had no blinds and was provided with a make shift blackout one 🙈 not really what i want when coming away. Bathroom needs a deep clean, alot of building dust etc still about it, and lip from tiles to floor needs a trim. Building work still ongoing.

We stayed in York for a few days as a base, and the Railway House was the perfect little piece of heaven. The renovation that this house has undergone is really spectacular and has lots of history surrounding it. It’s also a relatively short walk into York itself, with lots of lovely places to eat and drink along the way. The apartments have been meticulously thought out and have everything you need, whether that is for a few nights or a few weeks. Our apartment was wonderful and we even got a sneaky peak at another and it is safe to say we will definitely be back to test out another apartment if we are back in York again. Neil and the gang were so inviting and friendly, it made the experience even more special. Keep up the great work guys, you’ve got an amazing place! We would really recommend this place to others thinking about staying in York.

Location first of all is very accessible to the centre of York. Secure gates and a lovely courtyard with tables and chairs, we saw plenty of wildlife from squirrels to birds and even a couple of cats! We stayed in platform 1, the apartment was clean, well furnished and had all amenities you would want for a stay. We received a bottle of Prosecco which was the nicest I have ever had. The decor was modern and tasteful with touches I will implement at home. The bed was extremely luxurious and very comfortable. A modern bath in the room with funky lights completed the room. There were nods to the buildings prior use as a railway house which we loved. The shower had two functional heads which were lovely and hot. In short absolutely faultless !

Great location only a few minutes from the racecourse, couple of nice pubs nearby too. We were met by the owner Neil, who was very welcoming and showed us around the apartment and gave us advice on the local amenities and short cut to the race course. The apartment was brand new and well furnished and we were also given a complimentary bottle of bubbly 🍾

Only downside was we were on the top floor and there is no lift, so it was a struggle for the mother-in-law to walk up the stairs, and be prepared if carrying heavy suitcases. Didn't bother me, but might be an issue for some.

We couldn’t be happier with our choice of Accomadation, A major highlight was using the private parking and charging up our electric car! The instructions for getting in were easy to follow and the apartment was spotlessly clean! Neil kindly left us a bottle of fizz and coffee pods for the coffee machine. The towels and bed linen were all lovely quality, this added a luxurious feel to what can only be describe as an elegant apartment. Everything had been thought of, washing machine tablets, soap, washing up liquid and a hot water tap and Bath house toiletries. The location is perfect, close enough to the city and far enough to enjoy a garden with plenty of outside space with peace and quiet. We will definitely be back!

Me and the girlfriend was very amazed by how welcoming and helpful the team are at railway House. Helpful is an understament, the team are so pleasant always asking if you need anything or if they can help with anything. We will 100 % be coming back in the near future. There is everything you need for a nice quiet few nights away with the other half. Kitchen fully equipped with all appliances, utensils and most of all space. The team at railway House just amazed me!
