The property was newly renovated with beautifully selected and styled interior. It had lots of space within all rooms of the apartment. It felt very secure and had a charming garden area outside. I liked the bespoke beds which were very comfortable, the use of the original stone fireplaces throughout with the mix of modern practical appliances such as a boiling hot water tap and coffee machine. The colour pallets used within all rooms including the beautifully tiled bathrooms were really well chosen making the apartment really flow like one space.

My wife and I stayed over this weekend for our wedding anniversary and our experience was fantastic!! Class oozes right throughout the accommodation from entry through the security gates through to our well thought out apartment. When you’ve got a perfect coffee maker you’re on to a winner, a small touch but again classy. Neil was very welcoming and accommodating and was there for any help we required however not necessary as the team had already got everything covered. I really enjoyed my stay here! I felt comfortable from the beginning and as a solo traveler, it felt safe and secure with the gate and lock to the main building. All communication was super! It was located perfectly to catch trains and to get into York city center. The apartment I was in was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was clean and had everything I needed to make an easy breakfast. It was very quiet at night. The bathroom was great with a good shower and a very cool mirror that lights up. It was nice to have the couch and tv to watch Wimbledon at night and to have the table for breakfast. Everything was clean and in good condition. I would for sure stay here again!

As we drove through the electronic gates and parked in front of that jaw-dropping building, I had a hunch we were in for a treat. And boy, was I right! The apartment at Railway House was off the charts stunning! Let me tell you, that bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and wait till you hear about the showstopper – a massive copper bath right in the bedroom! I booked this place for a romantic city getaway, and my wife couldn't stop grinning the whole weekend. That copper bath was a total knockout! The whole place was decked out like something out of a magazine - top-notch interior design that had us feeling like we were living the high life. Every corner of that apartment was a feast for our senses, and we couldn't get enough. Were coming back for more and next time were going to try out another of their awesome apartments. Oh, and let me give a shout-out to Neil – that chap was super helpful, hooking us up with awesome local tips for the best restaurants and must-visit spots. He sure knows how to make guests feel at home. This property was the real deal, no disappointments here! It made our romantic getaway one for the books, and we can't wait to come back for round two at this gorgeous spot

Absolutely gorgeous apartment, would highly recommend. Bedrooms were an excellent size- one was extremely large with a standalone bathtub! The living, kitchen and dining areas were modern, large and comfortable, and very clean. The rooms were nice and quiet. The bathroom was clean, spacious, with a large walk-in shower and nice strong flow of water from the showerhead. There were multiple mirrors about the place too, and it was well-lit. The garden outside was perfect for relaxing in (our visit was a hot summer weekend), with lots of greenery. The city centre of York was a 20 minute walk away, or a £7 Uber (and probably a bus but it was wonderful weather, so we walked and got an Uber back one time also). The hosts were lovely, with excellent communication throughout.

Nothing, all great! If there's a problem, then the host is quick to help.

Beautiful, clean apartment. Location was fantastic, quiet area just outside of the centre, only about a 15 minute walk away. Plenty of private parking spaces. Beds were so comfortable that I’ve taken photos of the labels to purchase the same bedding! Smart TV with all the apps on it, WiFi was fast. Had everything you needed there. Some basic kitchen supplies, even the hair dryer was good & not the usual cheap hotel one. It was self check in but hosts were very friendly and informative via messages. It was perfect! Excellent value for the price you pay, definitely worth it.

Noticed an ever so slight sewage smell coming from the toilet a couple of times. It was so subtle so didn’t really bother us & the rest of the stay was so lovely that we didn’t care

We loved the building and the apartments are of a high standard and well equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay. It was great to have access to a garden allowing us to sit outside with a bottle of prosecco, which was kindly provided by the host! We were warmly welcomed by Neil and he took the time to show us to the apartment and provided useful information about the local area. A bonus was the ample onsite parking and the security of the property with gated coded access to the grounds and building.

Beautiful building, easy check-in - onsite parking (parking in York is a nightmare!) - very stylish flat - comfortable and homely with lovely furnishings.

Minor hiccup was the Hive system. It was extremely cold weather and I tried to set the heating to stay on all-night on both nights of my stay and it automatically changed to schedule - so I woke up both mornings at 4am and had to manually set the heating again. A first world problem - but it was like 14C when I woke up - but luckily the flat heats up again quickly.

We spent four wonderful nights at this apartment, and everything was absolutely perfect. The location is ideal,just about a 15-minute walk from the train station. The building itself is beautiful and quiet, with tasteful interior decor and excellent facilities. We truly appreciated Neil’s prompt responses and attention to every detail. Thank you for providing such a lovely apartment - we look forward to staying here again on our next visit to York!

Beautiful apartment, which has been tastefully decorated and is very modern, light and clean. Secure parking with lots of spaces. Good distance from the centre of town. Tea and coffee available as well. Had a great sleep too.

Nothing that I didn’t like but the kitchen could be a bit better equipped. Although dishwasher tablets were left and a dish towel for drying dishes it would be good to have a sponge to do the dishes & wipe the table. Also a small sweeping brush would be good. I noticed there was no chopping board either. Small things and only relevant if you are eating in.
