The size of the villa was perfect. Great to experience staying in a mini house rather than the usual hotel. Just like a house there were was living space, kitchenette and bedrooms. The ample space and all the windows in the villa made the staying here very so comfortable and very refreshing. Villa looked like it were recently renovated as the place was in very good condition. Everything was tidy and organised.

I think the facilities in the venue need a bit more care. I had a look at the pool and I understand it was closed as it was winter. But the pool was green and didn’t present well. Laundry area was very outdated and if there is a fee then more attention needs to be put in this space. Aside from that there was a note on one of the bedroom doors saying that I had to pay $80 per night to use the second bedroom. This caused a lot of confusion because I know I paid for the entire villa including both bedrooms but it was just very unusual to have a message like this. I tried to contact reception about this though after hours but didn’t get a response until I went to the following morning.

We liked how it was close to the supermarkets & Town centre. Within the room we had all the equipment we needed to enjoy our stay (kitchen utensils, hairdryer, soap & shampoos, ironing board). The room (Deluxe Queen Studio) was spacious and comfortable for 2 people with ample storage space. We ended up extending our stay at Amaroo as we enjoyed it so much.

We went to Phillip Island and the weather was perfect, we would’ve liked to have our doors and windows open to let in fresh air whilst we were in the room however felt very visible to other park users if we had the curtains/windows open. We would’ve liked if the room had a shear curtains to protect privacy as there was only one block out curtain which resulted us having our curtains closed our whole trip.

The chalet was clean and mostly well appointed - a check of the amount of cutlery and crockery for the amount of people the chalet sleeps would be a good idea:) One overhead light was out above the dining table, making the room quite dark and the saucepan looked battered to the point that the lid wouldn't fit it. Bedding (sheet and coverlet) was crisp and clean, and beds were really comfy although there was no cover on the duvet in between the sheets and the cover, which was odd. Altogether, really nice cabins in a great location, but a few little things need attention. Nothing major, and we would definitely stay again.

Clean, neat and new cabins. Had the basic accessories to enjoy our stay including electric blankets. The enclosed front deck with chairs and tables was great to sit with the dog and relax and have a cuppa. The rooms are cosy sized but its a cabin so that expected. Lots of storage. Split heater works great.

The single bunk bed stairs are thin and hurt your feet and needs an additional rung to assist getting up/down. Our son fell from the stairs in the middle of the night trying to go to the toilet. Also there seems to be a resident living on the property with 2 dogs in a dog run that bark at everything, however, its pet friendly park so seeing other dogs it's bound to happen.

It was a cute little room, bed was comfy, water pressure in the shower was perfect and the location was walking distance to Coles and only a couple of blocks from the main shopping / pub precinct. No microwave in the room, however with the well-equipped camp kitchen right behind the block of rooms it wasn't a problem eating in. Dedicated car park right out the front of the room made for ease of carrying in bags. Nice host to! I am reviewing a motel style room not a cabin, I am sure they would be very well equipped. We will be back in our caravan, loved the location :)

There was nothing I could fault!

We really enjoyed our time in the deluxe family cabin - it was our first stay in that one and it is really well designed and furnished. I especially loved where it is located in the park, shady and peaceful and was well equipped for our stay (aside from below comments relating to the bathroom). Other than that, the size of the shower and fancy showerhead, lovely porch with seating etc, was really appreciated. Will look forward to our next stay there.

The bathroom in our cabin did not have anywhere in the shower, to put the soap - up off the ground, it also didn't have any hooks for additional towels (being a family cabin) and needs a little stool or something to put your clothes on - other wise they also just have to go on the floor. The doona needed a wash - that was a bit off-putting seeing somebody else's blood (or something) on it - a problem with no longer having actual doona covers. Our friends cabin had no teaspoon's in their cutlery drawer - it might be an idea for cleaning staff to check this as they clean?

Stayed in one of their mini hotel rooms - was a last minute thing so there was no other choice. We would have preferred a cabin but, as I say this was a last minute plan. Room is adequate. It is right at the front of the property so all traffic in and out of the park goes past. Also, as with many Aussie caravan parks, the kids in the park have developed their own "race circuit" around the park which also goes past your front door for hours at a time. Didn't bother us - just providing information.

The price - except if you wait to the last minute this is what you pay.

The place is close to Cowes centre, maybe a 3 minute walk. The cafe at the end of the street seems like a popular choice for breakfast and brunch. Checkin and checkout were quick and painless, the cabin was clean, it was quiet for the night.

Our cabin needs some minor maintenance, like the aircon makes a constant loud noise when heating the room - you wouldn't be able to sleep with that on. The bathroom door wouldn't open from the inside and the extraction fan could use a wipe, but nothing major really. We thought the cabin did what it needed to: keep us warm overnight, get us a great sleep and the kitchen is well equipped too.

Loved how easy self check in and check out was, communication was excellent from staff and directions were easy to follow. Cabin was clean and had everything I needed for my stay. Quiet location. Bed was so comfortable.

The only thing I didn’t like had nothing to do with the property itself, I had a cabin close to the main driveway and visitors coming in late were quite noisy, closing their car doors felt like they were right outside the cabin.

The property was very calm and clean, and also good value for money. The location is also very good though not very near to beach, beach is approx. 750m and city center 300m. Overall we like the stay in the property and highly recommend it.

The kitchen window, made of glass and there's no curtain. It would be better to have a curtain to secure some privacy.
