Room was large and comfy with a sea view. Breakfast was comprehensive and good quality. Staff were very friendly. Free parking out front and a fabulous location, across the road from the beach and pier and a 5 min walk into the town. There is a pool with a pool bar and plenty of spectator seating.

We paid £200 per night so were expecting more in the room such as bottles of water or biscuits with the coffee facilities which seem pretty standard in most hotels. The bed was only a double although there was ample room for a king size. We stayed 2 nights but the room wasn't serviced on the middle day. On our first night the restaurant was open with a very limited menu, not open at all on our 2nd night.

i travelled 300 miles checked in after midnight, no issues - was skeptical about parking but no issues vast amount of space in around parking areA, a very good indoor heated swimming pool, friendly courteous staff, mixed changing rooms with combination lockers, ive read many reviews regarding changing rooms well its decent and ive been many places and this is up their, breakfast is standard, my family are veg/ halal the leading chef informed us of options and went out his way of making cheese omelette on all 3 days of our stay and free cappuccino’s ! I would definitely stay here again… well done to all the staff members to make it perfect

if i had to be picky is, the property is pretty dated carpet in the room needs updating

Breakfast good but if it had grilled tomatoes instead of tinned that would have been nice. Also really would have liked some mushrooms but overall it was good :-) Our room was very clean and the sea view was perfect. All the staff were really friendly and polite and we also loved that the bar was open for a couple of drinks when we got back from the festival 👌😀👌

The hotdog in the bar was very much needed but a bit larger would have been great as food at the festival wasn't very good at all so we were both really quite hungry and it was late. Having said that, our stay was all good for what we needed and was comfortable and quiet so got a good sleep. Thank you St Ives!

This was our 3 year here with Arthur now 4! It's like a feeling of coming home, being part of a big family. This year we had a balcony and struck gold with the weather. The balcony was lovely for extra space. This room was next to the lift, so ever so slightly noisier, but it didn't stop us from sleeping or anything else. That kind of background noise helps me sleep, plus we were early to bed as well. The same staff have been there for every year, which says alot about management, the place etc. The reception team are always very smiley, chatty, helpful. Lisa in the breakfast room remembered us as did the lady on reception, that gave us a nice feeling. This hotel is placed perfectly for the pier, beach, promenade. The pool area was lovely and warm. Food options for allergies was good (let them know before arriving). We went out of school holidays for the last time, so there was not many children, but that didn't matter to us. Next year, it will have to be in school holidays. Thank you St Ives, so sad to leave as always. See you next year. X

This stay was a birthday present for my daughter along with tickets to see a Queen tribute band at Lowther Pavillion. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast was delicious, rooms were comfortable and a reasonable size, there was a choice of bars, a swimming pool and a freephone for taxis at reception. It’s close to the pier and beach and a short walk into the town. There is a good size car park and it is close to a bus stop with good links should you decide to leave the car. The evening meals sounded nice from the daily menu, although we didn’t actually eat there. We also booked afternoon tea and although they weren’t doing afternoon tea at the time, they did put one on for us and it was gorgeous and reasonably priced. If I had any complaints it would be a little more choice at breakfast (one of our party wanted black pudding and another was craving pancakes), for the drinks in the bar to be a little less expensive and I would have liked it if it was dog friendly as Lytham St. Anne’s is a lovely dog friendly place and I would love to stay with our dogs.

Great location right on the beach, easy to find, lots of parking, comfy beds, nice breakfast, indoor pool, nice bar/lounge area. Like a previous reviewer said, some rooms on the first floor are far away from the lift, down lots of corridors and up and down stairs - this was no problem for us but may be a struggle if you have poor mobility, so it would be worth requesting a room near the lift/reception desk. I would deifinitely stay here again.

Only 2 minor things - The pool was nice but the changing area was a bit dirty. There is a games room but it was out of order when we stayed.

Pleasant, helpful staff. Good choice of food which was all self service. Large car park plenty of room. Location very good opposite the front & close to town. Clean comfortable modern room. Pleased we were upgraded to main hotel & not in the annexe as my husband struggled to get up stairs and we were thankful for a lift to our floor.Had a swimming pool but we didn’t use it. It was being painted in the front areas of the hotel & they did the work without disrupting the public.

Reception had no map or information about surrounding areas & entertainment readily available, possibly because hotel close to tourist information opposite on pier. Also no newspapers available so had to walk into town. A lot of people staying for the bridge group who were friendly & knew each other. There was a bridge club event in evenings which was held in ballroom area & very few people went into the lounge bar next to it to avoid making a noise while they were playing.

We stayed in room 17 (one of the balcony rooms at the front of the hotel). It was clean and spacious for us as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Would be lovely to sit out and look at the beach in the summer on a warm day/evening. The only down side of this room is it’s right next to the lift and there was some noise from that (and can hear people quite loudly in the landing) early in the morning. It didn’t bother us too much but if you want a quieter room this one probably isn’t for you. The kids activities and pool were a hit and the entertainment was also good. The staff were really helpful and friendly particularly in the bar and restaurant. The bar food was really tasty and reasonably priced.

Arcade is great for the kids but a lot of the machines weren’t working or turned on which was a shame. The shower was a bit hit and miss for power and temperature.

Everything was ok.

I love the fact that the children are entertained in the lounge. But when it got to Bingo time, the parents were asked to get their children to sit with them and be quiet. Quite a few children were still on the dance floor, running around and being very noisy. He asked again to take the children off the dance floor, still no reaction from the parents. We could hardly hear the numbers above the screaming. This was the parents fault, not the entertainer. I heard quite a lot of people complaining about it. I don’t know the answer, but one is needed.
