Such a lovely, period home, very well presented and very quiet. Our hosts, Linda and Andre, were such wonderful and friendly people who are dedicated to making anyone's stay here simply amazing. From the initial friendly smiles and welcomes to the spotless accommodation and breakfast, there is nothing to fault with this gorgeous home. I am sure this is going to be our next go-to accommodation should we be staying in Launceston in the future. Well done to both Linda and Andre on a wonderful property and perfect, memorable experience. :)
Leaving... We could have stayed longer but we had to depart for work ourselves. There's absolutely nothing to not like about this property.

Linda and Andre were excellent hosts and the property exceeded expectations. Wild weather around Australia delayed our flight to Launceston by six hours and an anticipated relaxing afternoon arrival became a stressful late evening arrival. Linda calmly welcomed us, showed us to our superb room, and allowed us to rush to dinner. The room was spacious with a four poster bed, the room was very well appointed in period style, and the shower was hot. The house is decked out for Christmas and we very much enjoyed our personally cooked breakfast with the company of two interesting couples. It is a short walk down the hill to City Park and the city.

Kurrajong House is located very high up on the Eastern side of Launceston and is set amongst some of the most magnificent early Australian houses in the city. Kurrajong house is itself a beautifully restored property and our hosts Andre and Linda have done a great job in setting up the rooms with furniture to match the era of the house. The location is close enough to walk into town, although the trek back up the hill is trying! We certainly enjoyed our 2 nights there and can't speak highly enough of our hosts who were very easy to get along with and gave us some great advice on things to do and see while in Launceston.

My stay at Linda and Andre’s B&B was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that made me feel right at home. Linda and Andre's impeccable taste is evident in every corner of this beautifully designed space, blending elegance with cozy comfort perfectly. The attention to detail is remarkable—whether it's the beautifully set breakfast table, the carefully curated décor, or the little touches in the room that make you feel special. It's clear that Linda and Andre go the extra mile in every way, anticipating your needs before you even realize them. Their service is not just attentive; it’s personal and thoughtful, creating an experience that feels less like staying at a B&B and more like visiting dear friends who truly care about your comfort and happiness. If you’re looking for a place that combines stunning surroundings, exceptional service, and the warmest hospitality, this is it. Linda and Andre have truly created a home away from home, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!" Erick and Brian

Where to start? Two of the most amazing, humble, welcoming people you will find. The home is immaculate, and its warm cosy rooms are an oasis on a cold night. Breakfast was wonderfully cooked by Andre, and homemade yoghurt, fruit, cereals, and beverages are all there to complete the culinary delights. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome even with our late arrival. Linda was so happy, and her smile is infectious. You just couldn't be anything but happy whenever she was around. Do yourself a favour and book here for your next break in Launceston. You won't be disappointed.
Having to say goodbye and head home.

A very welcoming stay in a well-connected part of Launceston. The hosts facilitated a late check-in and even stayed up for a chat after our flight had been delayed getting in. They made sure we felt comfortable in the space and sure the best Launceston had to offer. Hot tip: There is a great view of the Tamar on the hill at the end of the street! Will definitely stay again when we return.
Wish we could have stayed longer!

Our room in the main house was handsomely decorated in turn of century furnishings, although the roomy mattress was 2024 high comfort. We also stayed in the former horse stable, which has been renovated with modern furnishings and extreme . We hope Kurrajong house is available when we next visit Launceston. Shout out also to the friendly owners, Linda and Andre. They offer excellent recommendations for nearby cafes, as well as city restaurants and places of interest. Always there to help, while never intrusive.
All good.

We stayed one night at Kurrajong House Boutique Accommodation in November. The place was clean, comfortable, and quiet, though the rooms were a bit on the small side. What truly made the stay memorable was the lovely couple who run it—their great sense of humor added a special charm to the experience.
Personally, I do not like the color black in interior design. The room was tiny, with a big, high, and not very comfortable bed.

We stayed in Rose Cottage which was spacious and comfortable, and quiet. Linda is very friendly and rectified any issues very quickly. The property is close to the city and walkable though not everyone will want to return walking up the big hill! Lovely suburb and plenty of little coffee shops and a great fish and chip van was nearby in the evening, delicious fresh fish and chips!

The old-world charm of the Adelaide room was delightful with a bay window view of mature trees in autumn leaf above the rose garden. The hosts were extremely friendly and eager to help with suggestions for touring Launceston. Linda loves a yarn and has a joke or two to share over breakfast which is cooked to order by her husband, Andre, and served in a delightful conservatory where we enjoyed chatting to other guests. Thank you for a most entertaining stay!
