The location is absolutely fantastic! Being in Downtown Toronto, it is close to government offices, banks, and major tourist attractions. Halal food options and grocery stores were easily accessible within walking distance, which was very convenient. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The room’s heating and air conditioning system worked perfectly, providing a comfortable atmosphere throughout the stay. They have a dedicated Kids’ Play Area on the second floor, which made a huge difference for my family as I was traveling with kids. This thoughtful addition added great value to our stay.

Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer Halal food on-site, which was a bit inconvenient. A bidet in the bathroom would have been a great addition for added comfort.

This hotel is in a great location, lots of food and stores nearby, very clean, wonderful facilities, very professional and accommodating. The overall experience was very pleasant, and I would recommend this hotel.

The only downside would be the Wi-Fi. It was absolutely horrible in my room. I was on the 25th floor corner room and Netflix wouldn't load; messages were delayed, and calls were dropping. I had to go to the ground floor for better connection. Please ensure each room has solid connection. It was a big roadblock.

The convenience of being right downtown, the hotel is probably the biggest if not the biggest in Toronto. Has everything you need, a store to buy snacks or anything you may have forgotten to bring, a food court area and a nice restaurant.

We were on the 24th floor, there was a constant banging sound, the rooms are not sound proof so you hear everything going on around you. One side had a sick women coughing all night long, on the other side sounded like a party with music playing, loud talking, and the door constantly opening and closing. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep due to these factors

Whenever I’m in Toronto, I either stay at the Chelsea Hotel or the Fairmont Royal York – and this recent stay at the Chelsea reminded me exactly why. I booked an Executive Queen Room (2673), and it was everything I needed and more. High up with stunning views, the room came with a fridge, Nespresso machine, and kettle – all the comforts of home, but with a luxurious touch. The bed was heavenly – soft, supportive, and gave me one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in ages. The option of a balcony truly made the experience even better. There’s a clever net filter to stop any flying insects, and I actually slept with the balcony door open – waking up to fresh air and a clear mind. It was such a peaceful, refreshing way to start the day. Breakfast was another highlight. There’s a generous variety of hot staples and continental options – definitely worth it for the sheer amount of choice. There’s even an omelette station and a coffee area offering dark and medium roasts. The only downside? The toaster is unbelievably slow – my food went cold waiting for my toast. But honestly, that’s a small issue in an otherwise flawless experience. What really impressed me was the customer service. I was helped by a lovely Black lady with plaits (I didn’t catch her name) who signed me up for the Brilliant by LANGHAM rewards programme and explained how it works. I was even able to save money at the hotel restaurant just by showing my membership QR code – brilliant! As someone who’s very introverted, I appreciated the staff’s approach – they’re friendly but not overbearing. Some hotels try too hard with constant small talk, which can be draining. Here, they give you space while still being incredibly professional and kind. Don’t miss the gym on the 27th floor, either – it’s fantastic. It features quality equipment, a pool, and a sauna area in the changing rooms – a great way to unwind while enjoying spectacular views.

Location is great in Downtown, really easy to get around on foot, everything you need near by. Walking distance to major sight seeing places. Eaton shopping centre just a few mins away. Room was excellent, large and spacious, spotlessly clean. Staff always looking to exceed your expectations. Definitely take a swim in the roof terrace pool, wonderful views. Staff couldn't be more helpful, larger room and late check out at no extra charge, the difference is this was offered not requested, the staff always seemed to look to exceed your expectations.

We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel. Every staff member we had contact with at the Chelsea were excellent, personable and professional. Considering it is such a busy place they seemed like a great team. We were provided with great support from the concierge desk, arranging our day trip to Niagara and keeping our luggage after check out etc. Facilities at Swimming pool and gym areas were good. Room was very clean (Nespresso machine👍) Convenience of hotel was excellent for Downtown area.

We stayed for 4 nights and really the only thing I would comment about were the paper cups in the room for coffee and water rather than cups and glasses. This didn’t detract from a great few days in a really good hotel. We would definitely make a return visit to the Chelsea and recommend a stay there to friends.

The room was terrific in it size, bedding I had a small terrace that provided lovely natural light and a good view of all the bustling building activity going on. Bathroom was spartan, clean, but the water pressure a bit weak. The location is awesome, much activity going on and many, many, many delicious eating options across many price ranges.

The water pressure in the bathroom was a bit weak. There is a lot of building activity around the hotel which makes navigating the streets a little challenging, but this is not the hotel's fault and once that is completed this will make this location that much more exceptional.

Great location and really reasonably priced. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly, we even had an upgrade to our room booking due to it being my husbands birthday which was nice. We throughly enjoyed the Parmesan Fries in the Elm Street Bar. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The balcony was lovely to have but we didn’t use it as there was some construction on the side of the hotel our room was situated, also the balcony itself didn’t have any where for you to sit and was just concrete so would be much improved and more inline with rest of the hotel if it was spruced up

This is a fine fairly standard downtown hotel. Super busy and crowded but they are managing the numbers of people pretty well (including airline cruise etc.) Clean and comfortable. Staff responded promptly to my request to change rooms, though I didn’t end up changing because I didn’t like it yet other room.

My room overlooked the Airconditioning units which switched on and off during the night. That limited keeping window open, which generally I like to do (and is a positive of the hotel). it’s also huge with loads of people which you either like or you don’t.

Good Location.

Construction starting at 7 am every morning. We went for a hospital appt. and had a walker and transport wheel chair. Both of these units would not fit between the bed and the dresser so were restricted to using the hall, the washroom door was to small to get either of these into. As seniors $33.00 per breakfast per person seems a bit much. Got just the toast one morning, they gave us 1 piece and only toasted one side. $12.00 for two coffee and two slices of uncooked toast. If you go out the Bay St door there is a Eggsmart on the next corner, Go out the Young St Exit and there is a Tim's and a MCDonalds as well as a Shoppers Drug mart. We couldn't walk anywhere so we were stuck in the hotel without using a cab.
