It was very clean the staff was kind and helpful. Location is very convenient many restaurants and stores near by.

The shower pressure was weak and bath tub was a little grimy not the worst but worth mentioning because of the high price point

This hotel is in an excellent location to get pretty much anywhere you need to go around Toronto, including easy access to the #1 (yellow) metro line and several streetcar lines. This also provides easy access to Union Station and the airport (via the UP Pearson Express). This is a bustling hotel, perhaps even more so as there were several festivals happening at the time I stayed there. The lobby was always crowded and a bit chaotic at times, but my room was tucked away up on the 20th floor and quite quiet. It's clear that this is an older building, and it shows, but everything has been maintained pretty well. I had a comfortable stay and felt the unit had everything I needed. Very good value for the location.

I found the bathroom in my unit a touch cramped, especially with the door opening inwards -- I would have to close it almost all the way to access the toilet. The cleaning staff would sometimes spray the hallways with something like Febreeze which made it almost unbearable to breathe in there. The A/C unit was also quite loud and there was no way to keep the fan running at all times, so it was a bit jarring when it turned on/off.

Great location! Everything was in walking distance within a mile or so radius. Staff were friendly and helpful when I needed anything. Good soundproof doors between the balcony/room (handy as I was facing the current construction sites). I only used the pool once, but it's a good facility to have, wish I'd had time to use it more, and the view from the outside terrace of the CN Tower was fab.

There were tea making facilities, but only disposable cups provided.... I did ask if I could take cups and glasses to the room and was allowed with no issues, it just seemed a little odd to not provide them as standard.

Very convenient location, central to downtown and subway line, big room with comfortable bed, modern tv, a safe in the room which is sometimes rare to find without paying extra for one, grateful for the room AC during the heatwave

Room 626 could do with updating it’s quite old fashioned, shower faucets dripped after shower was used which was annoying when trying to sleep, a lot of street noise but can’t be helped due to location, did not interact with any staff due to everything completed on a screen which was a shame - missed that personal touch/customer service

The staff was very friendly and attentive, they made checking in and out quick, held our luggage when needed, and hailed cabs for us whenever we wanted. In the room, the beds were comfortable. We didn't go to the adults pool, but the kids pool was a good temperature. It was nice to have a whirlpool right next to the kids pool. The central location made it easy to get everywhere we planned to go. Our room had a fridge, which was not listed in the amenities but made things simpler for us as we could buy food and store it.

The shower didn't work very well. We fiddled with the dials but it seemed like we could have hot water, or good water pressure, but not both at the same time. Hopefully this was only a problem specific to our room. It would have been nice in a room with two beds to have two chairs, instead of a chair and a desk chair, which is not as comfortable. The balcony seemed usable, but was so dirty that we just could not use it. To me a 4 star hotel would not have these issues, especially the shower.

The location of the hotel is great, very central to pretty much everything. The balcony is an added bonus. The room was clean and well stocked. We did not use the pools, but they have two separate pools, one for families with kids and another one for adults only. Staff friendly and helpful.

There was construction nearby and a lot of noise coming from it. The windows are on the older side and not soundproof at all, so be prepared to hear some noise. We were also hearing people next door (good that they were respectful and not noisy).

Great location in Downtown Toronto. Roof top indoor pool and outdoor terrace are great for relaxing. Buffet breakfast is well stocked and has a good choice. Booking breakfast with the room is better value. Staff are friendly. Laundry facilities were easy to use and there is a quiet relaxing zone on the 2nd floor.

If you are put in a room near the lifts then you can hear them from around 6am - 11.30pm ish so request a room away from these. We booked our stay the night before due to our Accomadation cancelling so there was limited availability to move us.

The location is absolutely fantastic! Being in Downtown Toronto, it is close to government offices, banks, and major tourist attractions. Halal food options and grocery stores were easily accessible within walking distance, which was very convenient. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The room’s heating and air conditioning system worked perfectly, providing a comfortable atmosphere throughout the stay. They have a dedicated Kids’ Play Area on the second floor, which made a huge difference for my family as I was traveling with kids. This thoughtful addition added great value to our stay.

Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer Halal food on-site, which was a bit inconvenient. A bidet in the bathroom would have been a great addition for added comfort.

Bed was very comfortable! The balcony was nice to get fresh air from the room. The location was a very convenient central location for sightseeing around Toronto.

Because the hotel is so large and groups stay in the hotel (and arrive at the same time), there was some times with a long wait for elevator to get to my floor. But the hotel has the floors split up into different elevator banks which helps. For dog owners, there can be some noise in the hallway from other guests opening and closing doors (and talking in the hallways) so if your dog is bothered by noises like that, it isn't soundproof to hallway noise.

The convenience of being right downtown, the hotel is probably the biggest if not the biggest in Toronto. Has everything you need, a store to buy snacks or anything you may have forgotten to bring, a food court area and a nice restaurant.

We were on the 24th floor, there was a constant banging sound, the rooms are not sound proof so you hear everything going on around you. One side had a sick women coughing all night long, on the other side sounded like a party with music playing, loud talking, and the door constantly opening and closing. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep due to these factors
