The location is spectacular, close to beautiful Wentworth Falls and walks. The spa bath is awesome. Gas fire was lovely Loft apartment is spacious and lovely views over garden

The lounge suite is quite old and a bit dated. The bed was quite uncomfortable

I really enjoyed my stay at this accommodation. The space is relatively large with lovely trees and surrounds, and the big jacuzzi in the bathroom was a huge bonus. Bed was firm which I love, little kitchenette was very handy, lovely open gas fireplace, lots of light and big windows, but also adequate blinds and block out curtains to darken the space for sleeping. The staff were very friendly and professional and happy to help out with any requests. The apartment gave a sense of privacy and was well furnished. The place was very clean and there is a decent sized wardrobe and all the things you need for a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Initially there was not enough warm bedding on the bed which was strange, being winter, however the staff accommodated my request for a warmer quilt very quickly. There is a bit of noise you can hear from adjoining apartments, but it isn't too bad. It depends on who is next door!

Location was good. Area was peaceful and quiet. The king size bed was SO comfortable. The apartment was large and clean, it contained everything needed for our 3 night stay. Lounge chairs were comfortable. It had two air-cons and a fire place. Wi-fi was great. Within walking distance to the Wentworth Falls tracks. We also walked up to Wentworth Falls village and returned via the Darwin Walk, a really pretty track which runs along the Jamison Creek and is the start of the Grand Cliff Top Walk. The lower part of the Darwin walk was closed for repairs and expected to re-open in July, it detoured to Fletcher Street which was near Falls Mountain Retreat.

We received a text message from someone a few days before our stay saying electricity would be out on Wednesday 28th May between 8am and 3pm. We thought it was a scam as the message never said who it was from and the SMS number never responded when we tried to call. On arrival, we found out it was from Falls Mountain Retreat! Poor communication. Two tv's in the apartment - neither worked properly, one of them had two remotes. No written instructions in the apartment on how to operate them. The shower was over the spa tub, water pressure was extremely low and you couldn't stand under the shower because it was too close to wall and the spa tub stuck out from the wall. We made do, but one of the worst shower set-ups we've come across.

The Retreat was very quiet & peaceful. The perfect location for a relaxing stay. I must admit the fireplace was so cozy and welcoming as soon as we opened the door. It was definitely our favourite! We booked the 2 bedroom apartment so our teens had their own studio upstairs. And we stayed downstairs so we all had our privacy and alone time while still knowing the girls were safe since the upstairs & downstairs were connected. Everything was perfect from the reception to the whole experience. We would definitely recommend staying there to anyone wanting a comfortable stay away from home.

We enjoyed every minute at the Retreat

Great location, excellent access to the Blue Mountains. The accomodation was great, we loved the 2 balconies, we were able to open both sides of the room for amazing views and airflow. The bathroom and spa were lovely, good size bathroom. The kitchen was acceptable, a little on the small size, but ok for a few days. The staff were lovely, we arrived quite late, they called us to make sure we knew how to access the key. The bed was comfortable and we did find the location very peaceful.

The kitchen was a little on the small side, but we were able to make do with what we had. Nothing we didn't like though.

Beautiful, quiet surroundings. Spacious room with lovely view. The fire and heat pump heated the entire space. The location was perfect for Wentworth Falls and easy, short driving distance to Echo Point, Scenic World, Katoomba, Leura etc. Compared to some of the other accommodation offerings in the area, this was excellently priced and better appointed. We'd stay here again.

There are dated elements of the room. Functional but small kitchenette. We're not fans of shower over spa baths because they're hard to get your footing on, and climbing in and out needs focus. However, the shower height was great for tall people. The two car park spacing per upstairs downstairs rooms is tight.

Girl at reception was very polite and friendly. Nice gardens and beautiful views from the hotel. Really spacious and generally comfortable apartment. Quiet, loved the fire place and spa bath, electric blankets, kitchen had all the basic things you'd need, coffee machine, plenty of free parking out the front.

Needs improving in terms of cleanliness. For the price, I'd expect the interiors to be updated too. Carpet is stained, furniture dated and pretty shabby. Base of the vanity in the bathroom was water damaged, soap holder broken. Apartment was certainly not in the same condition as shown in the photos.

The apartment was welcoming, clean, self-contained, and very comfortable. The fireplace was lit when we arrived, and the room was toasty warm. The forest behind the apartment is beautiful! The reception lady was friendly and helpful. Easy to find. Parking in front of our apartment. Cute kitchen facilities. Comfortable bed. Huge towels! The spa was amazing. It is made for 2 people to enjoy with a large window and a view of the forest. We saw 3 Crimson Rosella's and a possum outside our room.

There was nothing I didn't like! I highly recommend Falls Mountain Retreat.

Location and setting are excellent. Bed was very comfortable and has a very functional kitchen.

The apartment whilst being cleanish really needs a deep clean. The amount of mould on the tiles in the bathroom was excessive, the thick black mould in the plug hole in the hand basin was disgusting, I had to clean it myself as was I concerned it would be a potential health hazard. Most of the kitchen ware required washing before use but unfortunately the sponge and dishcloth under the sink weren’t new and were pretty gross themselves. There also was only 1 wine glass provided. Also some written instructions on the tv wouldn’t go astray🤪

young lady at reception was very helpful and greeted us with a smile and great attitude,she even rang when we were in the room to see if everything was ok and if we needed anything,that has never happened at any other place we have stayed over the years and theres been quite a few.

Well you go into these retreats,motels etc and you first see how clean they are then maybe pick some faults with the way the room is presented but realise its only short stay,most of the time you are in and out,its not like permanently living there and if there is faults ignore them because sooner or later you are leaving.So we loved the room,the location,everything,So nothing that we found that we didnt like.
