Very cute, spacious, vintage room with a balcony. Location was a bit out of city centre but that just means you can explore more :) we also found a very good restaurant just 200m away. Bathroom and linen were very clean, which is a big plus.

Vintage is also means squeeky floors. Very squeeky. Also floors were a bit dusty, to the point of dirty. We also for sure realized that sharing a bathroom with people is not for us. Yes the staff kept it clean, but some people just can't seem to clean after themself.. so yeah.. that's a gamble with these type of rooms.

I very much liked the cleanliness and comfort of my room. I also appreciated the fact that they changed my sheets every day. (Since there is no AC, people may swear badly.) The city center is only 12-15 min walk from the hotel and it’s in a very safe neighborhood!

Please start offering FREE BREAKFAST! Also, there should be a separate front desk person rather than having the restaurant servers to take care of the guests. (Although they do an awesome job, I still think there is a need for an official front desk staff.) And finally, please consider getting the shared bathrooms cleaned twice a day. (Toward the evening, they may no longer in a quite good shape.)

We were in a family suite on the second floor and it was gorgeous! Very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is also clean and well cared for. The location is about a 30 minute walk from the main sights but there are some cute areas to eat and drink right around the hotel. We stayed twice here and the second time we were on the first floor family suite and is not as nice as the second floor.

Of course it’s not convenient to have to share the bathroom, especially if you have a flight to catch and are waiting for someone to finish! But we accepted this as Zürich is so incredibly expensive and this was more affordable. Also, there’s some sketchy people that hang out in the park across the street and play loud techno music into the night. We stayed twice at this hotel and both times this was going on.

The room was in a funky old building above a cafe, which was fun. It was convenient to public transportation and local shopping (groceries, etc.). The room was clean and beds were comfy. The bathroom was remodeled and fairly large. Not a lot of amenities or towels, however.

Unfortunately, we felt very uncomfortable during our stay in the room. Although the bathroom had large, sunny windows, they were incompletely frosted and overlooked a small inner courtyard surrounded by multi-level apt. buildings. There were no shades or curtains on the windows and the frosted parts afforded little privacy. I could look out the glass shower and into the apts. across the courtyard, and assume the inhabitants could do the same. In fact, we observed an opposite neighbor as he watched us in the bathroom one evening, so we ended up hanging towels over the exposed window. Not sure if this was a 'funky' bathroom design of the remodel but it was disappointing.

This was our second time staying at Guesthouse fürDich and we loved our stay. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, and the shared bathroom was never an issue. Everything was cleaned and well prepped for our arrival. The hostel is located on top of a very cute and lively cafe so it was very convenient to get meals or a cup of coffee. All of the staff were extremely accommodating and gave us a late check out and stored our bags until we were ready to depart. The location is in a central area and for the price, definitely worth it to stay in Zurich. Would absolutely stay here again!

Everything was great! It would be nice to have a room option with a private bathroom, but everything was comfortable and clean.

We loved staying at this beautiful townhouse hotel. Spacious very comfortable rooms and bed all very stylish and newly renovated. Beautiful modern bathroom just outside our room. We also loved the very popular cafe downstairs which is part of the hotel. We had delicious breakfast there every morning not included but reasonable prices. Beautiful Zurich architecture and good location in front of a park and excellent transport everywhere around the city with the excellent Zurich trams.

It was very nice to have such a large room, especially because we had 4 people. 2 large queen beds and a balcony and an area to sit and play cards. The host was very accommodating and stored some bags for us and stayed open a bit later because the check in times were wrong on the booking.com app.

I didn’t realize when I booked it that it was a shared bathroom but since we were only here for 1 night, it wasn’t a big deal. The one thing that I really didn’t like was that there were no plugs near a mirror so as a women it’s makes using a blow dryer, straightener or curler a bit of a challenge. I had to drag the big desk across the room that had the mirror on it just to get it close to a plug in. Booking.com had the check in time until 9pm but apparently check in on Sundays is only until 6pm so that needs to get changed.

Great breakfast. The cafe at the ground floor is really nice, and a good place to hang out. The location is quite good with a lot of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. There is also a nice park just outside the guesthouse. The staff is nice and willing to help, and the room is spacy and clean with a cute balcony.

The is no air conditioning in the room, and in summer it could get hot. There is no fridge. Though the location is good in terms of what can be found out side the guest-house, most of the point of interest in Zurich, are found near the old town, which is about 20 minutes walk, or a few minutes by public transportations.

We stayed at Guesthouse fürDich on our last night in Switzerland before flying out of Zurich early in the morning. I wish we would have stayed longer! It was such a beautiful and charming hotel! The shared bathrooms were not a problem - I didn't hear or see anyone else during our stay. We opted to get a hotel with a balcony which was the move. A thunderstorm rolled in and we sat outside and watched the lightning before the rain came down. The owner spoke English and check-in was super easy. He also helped recommend some places to go! Overall great stay and would highly recommend!

We loved our room so much at Guesthouse fürDich. The only thing that was bothersome was the creaky floors. They woke up my partner in the middle of the night when I tried to sneak to the bathroom. It wasn't a big deal, however.

Everything was clean. I jad the private bath which was a very nice size, also clean. I did have a hair and something crumbly on one pillow not sure what so I didnt use that one. But it was very obviously washed bedding. The bed was comfy. Loved the bacl door option so I didnt have to walk through the restaurant/bar lobby and the borrowed umbrella option came in very handy, we needed it. The lpcation is good! Hop on the bus or train 10 min to old Zurich, or walk. We did!
