The hotel arranged a taxi to collect us from the airport and Mike from the hotel meet us to assist with our bags and direct us to the hotel which was a short walk from the drop off point. We had room 1 which is on the first floor directly above the bar ( room picture used for the main photo) very clean, modern, plenty of space, good size modern bathroom/walk in shower and could not fault it! Cleaned every morning, with fresh towels, toiletries etc with a very friendly cleaner. The location is a five minute walk to the palace or 2 minutes to the water front, close to a number of local restaurants, supermarkets, shops which are far cheaper than the ones closer to the palace! Breakfast was superb, fresh fruit, breads or cooked breakfast, plenty of drinks and again, I could not fault it! Staff- All very friendly and accommodating.Have to give a mention to Mike, who was so friendly and bent over backwards to do anything for you, a real credit to the hotel. Overall, I would highly recommend booking this hotel!

mike and Antonia were amazing. they made us feel like we were coming home when we returned from our day. positive energy from the entire staff! they were happy to be there. the location was fabulous and so were the views.

After making our booking we where contacted by the hotel, who then arranged a taxi from the airport at a very reasonable rate. Our transfer went so smoothly. Staff from the hotel then met us at the taxi drop off, which is a few minutes walk from the hotel, they then assisted with our luggage, then took it up to our room. (there is no lift, but this was fine for us). The location of the hotel was fantastic right in the centre of the old town and a 5 minute walk to the port / marine area, where there are lots of cafe bars and restaurants. Our room was nicely furnished, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The dining area is located in a central courtyard, breakfast was included in the rate, and was delicious with plenty of choice. Lunch, dinner, drinks and snacks are also served throughout the day at very reasonable prices. Throughout our stay we found all the staff to welcome us warmly and to be so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and if I returned to Split would definitely rebook.

absolutely nothing everything was perfect

The hotel is in a fantastic location, a stones throw from the Riva and perfect for exploring the city. The best part is it’s in a quiet street so you aren’t kept awake from any street noise or bars. The rooms were immaculately clean, the bathrooms enormous, plentiful hot water and lovely showers. Comfy beds and good quality linens. We arranged airport transfers through the hotel which were seamless. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and served in the little restaurant in the courtyard of the hotel. I couldn’t recommend this enough and will most definitely stay again on a return to Split.

Couldn't recommend the Aspalathos highly enough, it exceeded expectations. The apartments was spotlessly clean and has been so sympathetically updated with exposed brick and subtle decor whilst having all modern fixtures and fittings - and a beautifully spacious shower room. The location was perfect, couldn't get more central. The staff were outstanding. We were met from the airport, then met at our car and shown to the apartments, then shown to our room and checked in swiftly and expertly. There is a separate entry via a courtyard where guests can also sit and relax. Split is SO busy it would be a great place to have a bottle of wine and soak up the atmosphere. The restaurant was extremely busy all afternoon/evening (as were lots in very busy Split) but the staff went out of their way to fit us in as we hadn't booked anywhere. So pleased they did. The food was local, fresh and delicious. We had breakfast on day 2 which was equally fresh and delicious with fruit, omelettes, fresh bread and plenty of coffee.

Everyone was helpful and friendly with a very good restaurant below the accommodation. The location was a few minutes walk from the sea front and close to many restaurants. The room was cleaned everyday whilst we were at breakfast, which filled us with plenty of food.
