I liked the location I liked the cost I liked having parking on the premises I liked the easy checkout It was quiet considering it was a hotel I liked the friendliness of the young woman that checked me in

The shower and the toilet are not separate, so cannot use the toilet when someone is having a shower. Bathroom had grafitti and needed some maintenance The rooms do not have a mirror. No fly screens on the windows. I would have the window open instead of using air conditioning if the windows had screens.

It was great being able to park my car undercover around from the entrance of the hotel. The staff were pleasant and very friendly and was fairly handy being part of a pub allowing for a meal and a couple of drinks without having to worry about getting back to the hotel after.

Was not too sure about the small satchels of milk in the fridge - I made a coffee, but when I put the milk into the cup after, it smelt quite strong and was starting to separate, meaning it was off - so I had to tip it out.

For what it is, it’s great. The bed is comfy and the location was just what we needed. They also make amazing cocktail slushies and (most) staff were amazing.

The bathroom isn’t the cleanest which honestly expected for pub accom. The water took forever to come on in the basin and the hot water took about ten minutes to heat up which is such a waste of water. You have to shut the door to the bathroom in a certain way or the steam sets the fire alarm off which was also stressful. But again, for what it is it was fine.

Friendliness of the booking. Dealing with a person after booking on line, immediate access to the facilities

a bit outdated, but clean, inconvenience of sharing kitchen facilities, didn't feel comfortable to share the fridge with other people, no crockery available

A great location and within walking distance to the Entertainment Centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had never stayed in a pub before and we were pleasantly surprised. Food and drinks at very reasonable prices.

Close to Broadmeadow Station. Free covered car parking. Basic hotel-style accomodation but clean and tidy. We had an ensuite which seemed recently done. Small but quite adequate for a short stay. We stayed on a Friday night and there was no road or pub noise. Aircon worked fine. Pub downstairs had some good beers and staff were very friendly. There is a shared kitchenette with the usual facilities. It was clean and tidy. I'd stay here again.

Couldn't fully close the blinds so street lights came in a bit during the night.

Great staff at reception and bar/bistro. Excellent communal kitchenette facilities. Unanticipated balcony area. Very clean and tidy. Ideal for short stays without fuss.

Nothing to dislike.

Pub and hotel area were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Close to most places we intended to visit while in Newcastle. Place was easy to get to.

Parking options were a little limited but not impossible.

Bed was comfortable, well priced, easy free parking, heater worked well, clean fresh towels

Only 1 light blanket for each bunk so kids were a little cold, had to run air-con all night so a bit noisy, bathroom clean but stained in shower
