Booked a Superior King Room and arrived late due to a delayed flight, only to be greeted by friendly and excellent service on arrival. When we asked for the possibility of having a higher floor with views, the lovely gentleman found a fantastic vantage point for us. As a primary caregiver, I was away from my ailing father on a pre-booked vacation when he was suddenly in palliative care and although I was so anxious being away from home, I felt so looked after. Staff gave us a bottle of wine and chocolate which he did not need to offer, but was a way to show that they cared and wanted me to have a break away.

Can't complain about anything.

Excellent stay with easy check-in and friendly, accommodating staff. Luggage storage was seamless, with bags delivered to the room before arrival to the room. The room was spacious with fantastic views (level 45), the bed was extremely comfortable, and the location was convenient with a tram stop at the doorstep. Gym was good and easy to access. The Atrium on level 35 was great for a drink and snack after a long day at the F1.

I would have preferred a shower that wasn't combined with the bathtub. Room service was great but the $10 delivery fee each time was steep.

The place was amazing. Location was unbeatable. The restaurant and the food is a stand out. Room was big clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and polite. The view was just the best. City/River

The receptionist wasn’t helpful when we arrived to check in. She told us we can’t get a table in the Restaurant but we went there and got a table. There was few empty tables in the Restaurant. That was a bit disappointing because we were staying at the hotel arrived 7.30pm and we were very hungry. This really needs to get addressed

This hotel was absolutely amazing, the experience was top class from beginning to end. The hotel staff was extremely friendly from the moment we arrived, those dealing with luggage to the breakfast and cleaning staff. The breakfast was exceptional with so many varieties catering for all. The rooms were so spacious, beautifully laid out, clean and airy with spectacular views. The hotel is very centrally located with all amenities required. Highly recommend it and will definitely visit again.

Nothing it was top class

Lovely five star hotel with spacious and comfy room on the 36th floor with great view of the city. A complementary bottle of bubbly and choccies was a nice touch as it was a special occasion for us.

The bathroom is very dated with a shower over bath - very narrow bath so no room to move around and having to climb over into the tub. Wanting a bath should be opt in not as standard particularly these days when most establishments have a large walk in shower. Some prepackaged bickies with our arvo cuppa would’ve been nice.

Nicely located near the edge of CBD, with good transportation options to get around. Room was on the 39th floor with excellent view of the city skyline. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable.

Complimentary bottle of drinking water was not provided in the room when we first checked in, but was resolved the next day with room cleaning service. Some electrical sockets do not work properly (had power for some time before cutting off for some unknown reason). Switch buttons felt outdated and hard to press.

The location is perfect for the sporting and theatre precinct and there are loads of good restaurants in easy walking distance. The view from our room was amazing - looking up the river to Southbank and Flinder St station and the room was very well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and once again had wonderful views over the city.

The lift can be slow at times but that probably comes with a high floor hotel, and there was more noise from other rooms/floors than I would have expected but neither detracted from the enjoyment of our stay.

The views from my room were stunning. The room was always kept clean and serviced everyday. The staff were lovely and always welcoming. I loved that they have thought through every aspect of the hotel, down to the number of lifts, ease of location, valet service, turn down service, room space and set up.

I wasn't aware that some rooms had bathtub showers and I wasn't aware that I needed to request a stand alone shower. Would be nice if we could get an option when booking rooms for this as a preference like they do with bed configurations.

Customer service was excellent, breakfast was Devine, room service was quick and efficient. Alice who works in the No35 restaurant was just the most amazing staff who continuously looked after us and even surprised me either a 40th Birthday dish. She was just absolutely beautiful. All other staff were just amazing to deal with as well. But a special thank you to Alice!

Bathrooms could be updated, and change the door hangers for modern technology

My Girlfriend And I Stayed At Sofitel It Was The Best Hotel Experience Have Had Because It Was Our First Ever Time At The Hotel . The Restaurant Number 35 Was Our Favourite Place For Both Dinner We Had The 3 Course Meal On Thursday Night And The Yummiest Buffet Breakfast On Grand Final Public Holiday 2024 We Ate Cereal Fruit Yoghurt Hot Food Drank Cold And Hot Drink’s . The Staff Were Terrific Absolutely Amazing From Doormen To Check In Staff To Waiting Staff Everyone Was So Happy To Help Us And Anyone At The Hotel . My Girlfriend And I Had The Most Wonderful Night’s Sleep Big Bed King Size Lot’s Of Pillow’s And We Didn’t Want To Wake Up The Next Morning On Friday Sleeping On A Cloud The Bed Was Soo Soft And Comfortable. On Our Departure The Next Morning We Returned Our Room Key’s To The Express Checkout Box And Said Thank You Having Both Of Us . Please Consider Staying At Sofitel Melbourne On Collin’s When Searching For Place’s To Stay You Won’t Be Disappointed .
