Located in the heart of Firenze, only steps away from the famous Duomo, and a short walk to Ponte Vecchio, as well as many more sites, restaurants and other attractions. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a nice shower, toilet with bidet, hair dryer, small refrigerator, and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was much nicer than expected, and included scrambled eggs, sausage, as well as some mozzarella balls, cold cuts, and fresh baked cornetti (croissants). We were charged a pet fee of 16 Euros per night to bring our dog. We had called the hotel and already knew about this, and we are very grateful to be able to bring our dog along and that he is welcome in this hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much, and will definitely consider returning to this same hotel the next time we visit Florence!

Be aware that you will have to pay a tourism fee. For us it was seven Euros per day, per guest. This fee varies from place to place but is very common in Italy and Europe in general. This is not a fee by the hotel, but a requirement from the local government. Although the description did state this, 7 per person per day is a little higher than I have seen in other cities. We did love Florence, and it is quite popular, so we understand why it might be higher there.

The hotel is in a good location near the city centre and the room and the bathroom were good. A satisfactory experience. They even recommended a good restaurant to us

In other parts of the world, at this level of service, you get a little more. Ie, free water or free coffee, or at least the hotel staff carries your bags when needed. We understand some of these things are uncommon in Italy (and we were totally satisfied with the hotel), but it would be a "nice to have", and sometimes European hotels should have a look at what hotels in other parts of the world offer, even for a "standard" room ;)

The stuff was really helpful and very polite. The location was perfect and everything was clean.

The system to lock and open doors really would need to be modernized (we had difficulty to get in the hotel when we arrived because the personnel did not hear the doorbell, so we had to make a few calls and wait about 10 minutes on the street, and in the night we were locked out from our hotel room because on our floor there were two rooms and we before our door we had to cross an other door that was shared and the other guest closed it from inside, so again we had to make some calls in the night to get some help.) The rooftop terrace was not accessible because of reconstruction, we really regretted.

The location was the best close to the attractions in Florence. The room I got was also spacious and quiet. It was a comfortable stay and I would recommend it. The hotel also had a lift which was very convenient.

I felt the house cleaning could’ve been a little better with replenishing. Breakfast was great but I wished they would provide different varieties everyday. I got quite tired of having the same food the third time.

The location is perfect. All the main attractions are so close. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room 302 is large, airy, and very clean. The breakfast room is very clean and well organised. Breakfast coffee is served with a smile. We really enjoyed our stay here and will stay here again.

The stairs from the front door to the lift are a challenge for me to carry a case up and down but there is a stair lift and the friendly staff are happy to help.

The breakfast was non existent at 9:00 no more eggs no more cold cuts. Coffee was cold and bitter.

Tell people in advance that the parking is off site and expensive. Your site stipulated that you have parking I was not expecting a 40.00 +euro charge for parking.

We loved the location, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The room was spacious and cool on very hot days. The breakfast was a welcome surprise. A good selection and cute little dining room. Staff were friendly.

The lift was tiny and always stopped on Level 1 no matter what you pushed. There was also a flight of stairs before you got to the lift - but I did notice a chair lift for those who couldn’t walk. Was just hard lugging our luggage up them.

The room was lovely and overlooked the canal. A great location for exploring Venice for the first time and not too far from the water taxi at Rialto Bridge.

There was no reception so you couldn't ask for advice about trips or restaurants etc. It was a room only so not really a hotel I don't think.

Great location right in the middle of the city. Clean and very comfortable. Nice sized room with good aircon, so all in all a great hotel for a short stop to see Florence.

Parking is a bit expensive as its valet parked at a nearby location, but to be expected in the middle of a city. Probably not ideal if staying multiple nights though, so you might want to find your own parking in that case. Breakfast was ok, but not fantastic and no bar/restaurant facilities, but given the location not a problem - its a minute walk to a whole host of bars/restaurants etc.
