Great quiet location yet very close to bars and restaurants. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Rooms cleaned every day, with soap, toilet paper, coffee etc all replenished. The AC was quiet and worked perfectly. Fantastic views! Lovely swimming pool.

The breakfast could be better. No orange juice some mornings but the staff were happy to provide some if you asked. Better choice of bread for toast. Not just white bread. More variety of fruits would be good.

Location was great, really close to all the restaurants and shops and overlooking the sea/beach. When the tide is down you can go directly to the beach from the hotel. One of our rooms had a wonderful view from the balcony and was really spacious. The other one was a good size. Both were clean and the beds were really comfortable. The pool was fantastic and had a nice view too. All the staff were fantastic and really quick to respond to any questions or request. The hotel's restaurant provided a varied breakfast and it also serves tasty meals at a reasonable price.

Pros: - beautiful sunset deck to enjoy the ocean and sunset. - rooms facing the swimming pool, you can walk out in a bikini and towel for a swim. - connection to the beach, just going down a few steps and you're on the sand. - Many restaurants, beach clubs, bars walking distance. - Comfortable beds and great aircon and lighting. - We were allowed to pay an extra 200baht for late checkout at 1pm. - Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: - The hotel doesn't have a taxi company's number to call a taxi for you and theirs is always busy. I've never been to a hotel where they can't call you a taxi!! - The breakfast is a no go, so I would book the stay without breakfast included. - The rooms are very rundown with the shower nearly falling off the wall, paint flaking off in the ceiling, holes in the wall covered up from previous stuff hanging there, but I didn't really care about that as we were out most of the day. - Many people by the swimming pool smoking and drinking, so my family and I just tried to stay further away. Still had a wonderful stay.

Very nice swimming area at the beach. Location great, nice balcony. Spacious rooms. There are cats roaming around (very gentle cats). Right next door you can book snorkling tours and also book bikes at reasonable prices. Breakfast was ok, with an egg station.

Towels and bedsheets are old and tend to have stains. Cleaning is very often late afternoon, when we already come back from long swimming day.

Amazing location, pools, room and staff. I recommend to anyone, especially if you are not keen on renting a scooter as its super easy to get to everything and the travel kiosk next door is so helpful to getting around the island to places not walkable. We looked long and hard for a place to stay and since coming, are sure this is the best in terms of value, location and comfort! Wonderful beds too!

Unbeatable location! Right next to Sairee Beach, it was nice to be out of the way of any noise but close enough to walk anywhere nearby. Perfect to snorkel just off the rocks and lovely 2 pools to use. Lovely staff, always eager to help. Very convenient to have scooter rental right from the hotel. The Family Room was such a good size to suit 4 adults! We really enjoyed our stay.

Only factor that could've improved our stay was if there was a drinks/food service readily available at the resort and down by the pool in particular.

This is our third time to simple life Cliff View resort for a good reason! The location. The location of this hotel is perfect. It is between the pier and Sairee beach which means you have access to everything you need in either area but you are in a quiet location to rest and relax. The rooms. The pool view or resort few rooms are perfect. They have a large sitting room with two couches a table and a huge bed. The outdoor patio is also a good size with a table to enjoy morning coffee or a couch to lay out and read a book. The rooms really are one of the biggest we had in Thailand. Most of the rooms have a view or slight view of the ocean and an ocean breeze which is very welcome in the heat The staff. The staff here are absolutely wonderful. Heymar at the front desk is a super star. She’s been with the hotel for about 10 years and manages everything brilliantly. She is helpful, kind, smart, and willing to help you with whatever you need. Phoo is a rising star at the hotel and is also at the front desk ready to help with whatever you need. The restaurant staff are always smiling and happy to feed you and everyone in housekeeping happily keeps your room neat and tidy. We were at Cliff View for two weeks and could have easily stayed longer. When we left it was like leaving family; hugs, smiles and wonderful memories. I highly recommend this hotel.

The only negative thing I can say is that the property is in need of some major repairs. The wooden deck throughout the property is falling apart and rusting. There are some deckboards missing or sunken in some areas which can be a trip hazard for younger or older travelers. There are also some rusty jagged nails visible in some areas around the deck by the ocean. My husband actually cut his leg on one of these rusty nails which left quite a gash. We did speak with Management about it and they do plan to fix these issues, I just hope they do it soon so that it doesn’t get worse or other guests have minor injuries from the nails or deck boards.

Was so clean , and new , beautiful designs The young girl at the reservation was so nice and helpful , i definitely like the resort because of her being very nice to us , even tho we asked many things.

The room didnt had a safe …. Once you leave the room everthing shuts down (ac) , if i pay that amount i expect to have atleast ac turned on when i come back… but nothing bad expect this. The young girl at the reservation was so nice and helpful she even gave me first aid and helped me , just good experience in general .

Great location for walking street and beach. Room was lovely, spacious with seating area double balcony, one overlooking the pool and sea. Bed was massive and comfortable.. nice linen. Air con was great. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Would def stay again and recommend 😊

TV didn’t work but wasn’t a problem for us

The resort is really beautiful and in a great location. The staff are happy to help you book taxis and book excursions and are generally quite nice.

The staff seemed a bit annoyed sometimes, which is understandable since the island is mostly farang. They said hello and greeted us all the same, and were nice. The air conditioning was a little bit weak and our TV didn’t work but those were the only notable things.
