The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Our room was ready on arrival and had the requested cot prepared for our 1-year-old. It was spacious, very clean, and had a peaceful atmosphere. The location was great, within walking distance of the services, including Burger King, shops, Costa, and more. Overall, a really beautiful hotel.

The view overlooked the truck parking area, and opening the curtains felt like it allowed truck drivers to see in, which we weren’t overly comfortable with. Thankfully, the blinds and blackout curtains worked well to maintain privacy.

Liked that breakfast was included in the price. Liked the size of the room, good value for the price paid. Despite being next to a busy motorway very quiet and no noise from neighbouring guests. Parking close to accommodation entrance. Main double and single bed very comfortable

Breakfast not on the same site as accommodation. Difficult with one member of the party disabled with mobility issues, had trouble driving to breakfast site as directions vague and unable to park close to the entrance. Breakfast quality and quantity was ok, didn't like having to eat in a service station full of loud busy visiting football fans squeezed onto a wobbly table only made to accommodate 2 people eating at a time. This again was an issue for the disabled member of the party. Consider continental option on accommodation site or ideally full breakfast on accommodation site. Pull out bed left something to be desired and not what was booked or expected.

Basic - but good - hotel / motel on the M6 motorway with comfortable beds. Good WiFi.

The Lady receptionist on the 27th Dec 2024 morning. Extremely Very Rude !!! Background - I had asked for a late checkout (on an extra payment basis) the previous day and it had been confirmed that this was available. Booking.com also confirmed availability of rooms as did the Lady receptionist. However, she refused to give me a late checkout claiming that someone was coming to my room at 12 pm, the hotel check in policy is from 3 pm. She banged on my door twice to get me to leave and almost pushed me out of the hotel "you have paid till 11 am, please leave" in a shouting tone of voice. Then she disappeared from the reception when I was leaving. Hotel Mgt - if you are reading this, please ensure this kind of inconsistent (discriminatory?) behaviour is not given to hotel customers.

Needed somewhere cheap and cheerful for a half term stop over with my autistic son. It was better than I expected. Bed was super comfy, reception guy on arrival wasn't fazed by my sons behaviour and it was pretty clean (there was a lot of dust beside the tv) You have breakfast across the motorway at the Good Breakfast counter and again, no complaints and clean plates all round. I was a bit worried how close to the lorry park we were but I didn't hear a thing. The soundproofing was impressive. Only not a 10 because it wasn't 100% clean (it wasn't minging)

Bed was soooo comfy, really clean as well.

Was charged £200 when leaving for spillage on a radiator? Didn’t even have hardly any drinks for this to happen, just water and orange juice. When enquiring about this the women on the phone was extremely rude stating the manager has informed her of this issue. I then rang back for more information and images of this ‘issue’ to which another lady answered telling me the manager wasn’t even in until the following day? Just be careful this doesn’t happen to you as I even stripped the bedding to ensure the cleaner didn’t have too and had a little bit of extra time to spare. Disgusting behaviour

Very clean, staff always so helpful. We didn't have a dog with us this year but it was so easy when we used to have a dog with us.

IT would have been nice to have been able to book by telephone as we always used to . Also a better choice o f eating establishments would have been appreciated. We had to ask the receptionist for another chair for the room, which she obtained without any fuss or bother, however two chairs would have been appreciated at the onset so we didn't have to ask for the extra one. Also a twin bedded room would have been preferred.

Great location and staff are always super friendly, easy and straight forward self check in system is available.

Sadly on several occasions now bedding had long black hair on it and the bathroom walls had some short hair left on it too, mugs had spoons in them with jam stuck to them, which begs the question how well these facilities are cleaned. And for some reason this is the only hotel where I am personally struggling to get any sleep (but it has to be more of an individual problem than hotel's).

We thought breakfast was at the hotel, but it's not in an annex. It's just that menu served, but nothing special. My husband didn't eat anything, we had to buy bread and butter, because even that wasn't included, the coffee machine didn't work, they only had tea and orange juice

Our room was right behind the trucks so there was some noise, it was hard to sleep because I had a child and I was always waking up with the noise

Comfortable warm room, with plenty of space and lots of tea and coffee available. The lady on the reception desk was very friendly and offered to help me with my luggage as I am disabled. A man in the hotel who may have been a guest helped me with the doors. I was also grateful for the fact that there were EV charging points in the hotel car park which I was able to use before I left and I was allowed to remain in the car park free of charge for 24 hours from my original arrival time, despite having checked out of my room.

The heating was slightly difficult to control at first, but I quickly resolved it. I am used to a very warm home, so everywhere else I visit tends to feel cold, but once I figured out how to worknit, the room soon became nice and warm. Other than that everything was perfect.
