Excellent location, easy access to lakeside on foot. We walked to and from the train station with large suitcases without difficulty in about 15 mins. We were upgraded to a spacious room that was very well equipped and had a small terrace with city view. In a quieter part of town so able to get a good night’s sleep, helped by an excellent air conditioning unit that cooled the room perfectly. The room had a kettle and complimentary tea, coffee and bottled water. Communal area on ground floor where you could enjoy snacks and alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks purchased at reception. Staff extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent value for money.

Very little to dislike, our favourite hotel! Pillows were very flat, but we stayed at a few hotels in Switzerland during our stay and this seemed to be a common feature. We only ate breakfast once during our stay as it was rather expensive considering what was available. Don’t leave it too late if you take breakfast- toaster was switched off and breads and pastries not refilled more than 30 mins before closure.

The location of the property is not too far from the main attractions but still located far even enough away to provide the quietness at the end of the day. The property had very good air conditioning, unlike some other properties that advertise air conditioning but are cooled very lightly. This was very much appreciated during the heat wave we experienced during our stay in Lucerne.

The room was as advertised, but a bit run down. For instance our room had a chair but it was cracked. Also, the cleaning each day was not very thorough. They did not remove our used coffee/tea cups for instance.

Hotel is just 10 mins walk from train station and just 2 mins walk to nearby bus station. Room was quite good and enough for 3 persons stay. Staff was very good at their job. I lived with my family and my family also like the room and the facilities. Food is good, as we are vegetarian so there is options are available but not that much so I think they can increase some options for vegetarian people.

There is nothing which me and my family didn't like. Just one thing in breakfast they can increase more menu for Indian vegetarian people.

We chose the Ibis Styles Hotel because it is in the city center and close to the train station. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff was very attentive and concerned about our comfort and well-being when we arrived at the hotel and it was overbooked.

It wasn't very pleasant when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist told us that the hotel was fully booked because a large group of tourists arrived early. We were not happy with this situation, but luckily they compensated us, they accommodated us in another hotel further away (2Km) but they provided transportation to and from the city center.

Location was excellent- short walk to the lion and easy access to everything by bus or walking. They are willing to hold your luggage before and after check-in/out

They give you free public transportation pass (!) which I wish I knew about before buying one at the train station. Also wish there was a refrigerator in room.

Free drinking water and tea/coffee/milk available all day.. The bed was very comfortable.

Very little hangin̈g space for clothes. Shower difficult to regulate, kept going hot or cold.

The room had most things and what it didn’t have in the room, was made accessible through the other areas of facilities i.e iron in laundry room and access to coffee and water machine. I liked most the super friendly staff - very polite and happy to assist. The room was also bigger than I thought as well as the bed was comfortable

Cozy environment. Comfortable beds. Within walking distance to Lion Monument, shopping street and Old Swiss House restaurant.

Slight further away from main Lucern train station, but you can take a nice walk along Reuss river.

We were a family of 4. We stayed for 3D 2N and then left our main luggage at the hotel whilst we went to Interlaken for an overnight stay. We returned to the hotel for a 2D 1N stay before we left for Zurich airport for home. The hotel is a great place and value for money - clean, very central and within walking distance to the train station, lake jetty and the historic Lion Monument. The room we had for 3D 2N had a big bathroom, and for 2D 1N we had a similar room but with smaller bathroom to compensate for a balcony. The TV had many selections including good movie channels, which we looked forward to enjoy after our daily sightseeing around the beautiful sights in and near Luzern. The staff were very friendly. The hotel's 24hr-free flow of coffee/tea at the restaurant-area coffee-machine was a small yet hospitably nice gesture that made it a unique plus. Although we did not buy the breakfast, we were allowed to enjoy the free-flow of coffee/tea and our own food in the restaurant area.

The room could perhaps have some bright lights for guests to switch on when needed.

About 15 mins walk from the main station. Bus ride will take around 5 mins. Free transport passes were given to us after checkin and paid for city tax.
