I was at Hotel Fala 10 years ago, and there I met my husband. We were both for work in Zagreb, and we met during breakfast with hand-made cakes and fresh fruits! This year, we went back to celebrate our 10 years together! Hotel Fala is renewed but still with a very cozy atmosphere, hand-made cakes, and fresh fruits! It was lovely to be there again! The hosts are great and helped us find traditional places to eat! Very recommended.

The room was nice and clean, the receptionist was very kind. There is a smart TV which was nice, we could watch Netflix. At first our air conditioner didn’t work but we told the receptionist and they immediately repaired it. We didn’t have any other issues. The breakfast was simple, but there was everything you would need - eggs, sausages, fruit, ham, cheese, yoghurt, some cakes, coffee, tea, juices. Overall we had a very nice stay and I would recommend this hotel.

The wifi signal was a bit weak and disconnected often. Other than that we didn’t have any issues.

Excellent friendly personnel at the reception. The room was smallish but quite nice. What i specifically praise is a great reading lamp by the bed, which one rarely finds even in high class hotels. The parking indeed was comfortable and free of charge. The location is not downtown, buy easily reachable by taxi. The public bus stop is metres away only.

There is no safety deposit box in the room and no elevator. When first looking for the hotel , my car navigator took me to a wrong blind alley, i drove in reverse, and damaged my car - it's not the hotel fault, but a driver must be careful. No major problems at all.

exceptionally welcoming and friendly staff -- I travel a lot, have wide experience of hotels, and this was right up there with the very very best in terms of staff attitude. On departure they even gave me a little bag of Christmas biscuits. The hotel is located a little way from the centre but it's right next to a busy bus stop and you can get there from the bus station behind the train station in 5-10minutes. My room faced away from the main road, and it was very quiet. The room and facilities were clean and functional, what one would expect from the price. I'd stay here again and would recommend it to friends, unless they needed a place right in the city centre.

Breakfast was a bit basic, but acceptable for the reasonable price of €6. Coffee machine had a sign sellotaped to it saying that it didn't dispense espresso or capuccino. So what DOES come out of it? Instant coffee was available nearby, but the coffee-machine is still something of a mystery!

Basic equiped rooms with parking just in front of the building, ok breakfast. Hotel has 2 parts. In the new part (where I was staying) it is quiet, you do not hear cars from the road. You can hear everything from the hall though (shitty if you get noisy neighbours next door). Room was warm, heating working properly. Perfect stay if you are not looking for some fancy accomodation. I had dog with me and it is great stay with dog. Closeby there are also great walking possibilities (next to Sava river)-but is better to drive to staring point with car.

Nothing serious. But there could be some tea or coffee in the room.

The cleanliness exceeded our expectations – everything was spotless and extremely comfortable. The beds were very cozy, and the overall environment was peaceful and quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was also very good. We arrived very late for check-in and didn’t know the breakfast times, so we missed it the next morning. However, the staff were absolutely amazing – they still prepared us a delicious breakfast even though it was already past the scheduled time. Highly recommended!

Small hotel in the empty part of zagreb, but for fast walkers not too far from the center. From the outside it looks not so atractive (cheap building) but in the inside its very cosy. Clean rooms and comfy beds. The receptionists were all very kind and helpful. The bus stop is right outside and the hotel has a free parking which is a great benefit in zagreb. Overall our stay was pleasant and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Breakfast is also decent.

I had a one night stay in Zagreb and chose because this was a good price plus not far from the station. On purpose I chose the "other" side of the station from the main attractions, as I explored the city last visit (recent) and wanted this time to walk along the Sava River and the parks nearby. So that was suited me.

Other travellers might prefer hotels in the city centre, This one is "near" but "other side of the tracks". The hotel is generally nice and staff are great but I did find the walls to be thin. I could hear my neighbour snoring at night, then talking loudly on his phone at 6 am, then shouting at his wife for about 90 minutes from 8 am. Hopefully you don't get a room next to a snoring, oblivious bully.

Optional breakfast was good, and the staff friendly and helpful - particularly Elizabet on Reception who was extremely helpful with information about the city, and really cemented a great stay.

Nothing about the hotel, but you'd be wise to get to know the bus service (very easy) if you have lots of luggage or you're unable to walk a reasonable distance (around 30 mins from the station)

The welcome we received at reception was something that stuck with me, the staff were so polite and helpful, they even found us a guide to Zagreb in Bulgaria and went out of their way to give it to us before we headed out to explore the city. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We were travelling with a car so it was key that the hotel had available parking just outside.

I would have preferred if our rooms had a window looking out as opposed to towards the inside stairs and hallway, but apart from that everything was lovely.
