Elena, both mother and daughter hosts, were most welcoming and very pleasant. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, gardens and terraces where a welcome relief from the hot sun. Very quiet street , both day and night, lovely sleep. An electric kettle was requested so we could make cups of tea on our terrace, this was provided along with tea bags and sweets , adding to the host going the extra mile to accommodate us. Communications by What's up worked every time, so no issues in both checking in and checking out. Constant hot water when showering, TV first class, room deco lovely, room security safe easy to operate and free. We felt very secure in this family hotel, and its very close to both GueGuas yellow bus stops, and the blue Global bus stops. Lovely area with plenty of good local shops, restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets within 10minute walk. Now we’ve found this little gem, it will be our 1st choice to book, when visiting Las Palmas again. Marvellous ❤️

Having to leave after only 3 days here 😤.

An absolutely delightful hotel. It’s small but very clean and immaculately decorated. All the staff were super nice and super helpful -thank you! It is amazingly quiet despite its location close to the main road and very convenient for walking to all parts of Las Palmas. We don’t usually eat breakfast but we did on our first morning: perfectly fine continental style. Marisa very kindly put a kettle and cups in our room so we could make tea whenever we wanted (we are English and prefer tea to coffee!) - we always take our own tea bags… There is a nice secluded garden at the back of the hotel as well as a rooftop terrace, ideal if you want to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner! Marisa will even provide wine glasses and a bottle opener if you ask. We had a room with a balcony which was ideal. We can thoroughly recommend this gem of a hotel!

The hotel was really nice, clean, airy, new, modern, light and the impression was great. The owner welcomed us very kindly and explained us everything. She gave us many useful tips and information about the city. The room was spacious, nice and comfortable, very light with a balcony, big bathroom and comfortable beds. There was also a fridge and a safe. It was cleaned daily and the smell of the room was nice. It's located in a quiet street so you can relax very well.

Very clean lovely balcony, enjoyed our stay. We did do a lot of walking, we were about 15 mins from the new part of town but probably 30/40 mins from the old town, however the local buses are excellent.

Everything was lovely, especially the owner who went out of her way to provide us with information on the area, if I had to fault I would have liked coffee making facility as we chose room only, we had to walk a fair way to find a cafe

Very comfortable and quiet hotel. Mattresses were most comfortable I’ve ever slept on! Hotel is low-key and very quiet. Very little noise from other guests and/or outside. Elena and her niece are both really professional and friendly. Lovely welcome on the day we arrived! Fabulous shower in the bathroom which I will daydream about back in the land of no-power showers (!) We asked for a kettle and between the kettle and the fridge we were sorted for tea and breakfast things which we could eat outside on the terrace. I have chronic knee pain and asked for an extra pillow (if you know, you know!) and received exactly what I needed the same day. Plenty of space for two of us traveling. Electronic shutters (dark and cool!) in the room. Lovely unexpected gift of wine and chocolates the night before we departed. No-stress check-in AND they let us leave our stuff there and have a shower until 5pm the day we checked out. Also, the airport bus didn’t arrive the day we left and Elena answered my emergency text with offers of help as we scrambled for a taxi. Really amazing people to stay with. The hotel is a good 20 minute walk from the beach but if you head towards the Plaza d’Espana it's a pleasant walk (don’t go the Marina side). However the distance also means it’s quieter than the Playa de las Canteras hotels! You're also a quick walk away from the Marina (try Amara and Pier 19) and a longer walk or short bus ride to the old town area and you’re on the main bus routes to all three destinations. Very competitive pricing as well. No downside!

Honestly there’s nothing to not like!

The place was spotless, and it was a quiet location. It was located between the cruise port and downtown Las Palmas. The beds were very comfortable and apparently had memory foam on top of the mattresses. It’s OK.

It would’ve been great to have a coffee machine or tea pot in the room. Parking on the streets sometimes was a bit challenging. It would’ve been nice to have a sheet of paper in the room explaining the hours of the blue zone parking.

Very nice hotel, everything is newly renovated and very nicely decorated. The beds are really comfortable, the bathroom super fresh with a proper shower cabin. The area is very nice and quiet. It's perfect for discovering, even by foot, both the northern part of Las palmas with the fantastic Playa de las Cantera as well as the southern, old part of Las Palmas. Whatever direction we choose we found very good restaurants and nice cafés. Marisa is an excellent hostess; she really wants her guests to enjoy themselves. We will be back and definetly recommend La Palmera hotel Boutique.

This family-owned and managed 7-room boutique hotel is like an oasis in the generally hectic and crowded Las Palmas. The beautiful building in a wealthy neighbourhood has been newly refurbished to a very high standard. The hospitality of Marissa (joint-owner) was second to none, she was simply marvellous, always keen to help and make you feel at home. Our room and the beautiful back garden were kept immaculately clean by the lovely cleaner, Anna. My wife and I can't wait to our next stay.

We had nothing to complain about.

The hotel is small, but nice and cosy. Marisa as La Dueña is very supportive and forthcoming regarding information and tips and hints, even with my level of spanish speaking ;-) The location is nice, halfway up north of Las Palmas, in a quite neighbourhood. Bus stations (1,12,2,22,25) are near and provide good north-south connections. There is also a nice beach (without bars etc) just ca 200m away, for a quick dip in the cool sea. My room 7 was on the top floor of the house, with a terrassa to have a light pre-dinner spanish style in the early evenings. The room also had working air condition, which was needed to get the room temperatures to a sustainable level.

Nothing... I missed a parasol for my terrasa... turns out I should have just asked.

The accessible room was fantastic, with access through the lovely garden/patio, for wheelchair. Host was really helpful with ideas and information about what was on, located in a quiet residential street , we had many different routes to go the beaches old city etc all with in walking distance or you could take buses.

I thought the breakfast was a little basic, typical continental breakfast. Good coffee though and fresh fruit was offered.
