Very kind and helpful staff. Great location. Clean and large room, cleaned every day, with a view of the ocean and mountains.

Weak Wi-Fi connection. The mattress was uncomfortable. Breakfast really lacks vegetables, e.g. tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, etc.

Its in the middle of the island so its not hard to go to different places. Its also located near the sea and near a lot of restaurants. Me and my boyfriend LOVED out stay here. We really recomend this hotel if you are visiting Madeira.

The only thing we didnt quite like is parking. The hotel has only 3 parking spots but overall its not hard to find a different parking spot so it wasnt that big of a problem.

The staff was absolutely lovely, they were forthcoming, helped with all our requests. The breakfast was nice. The location is very good, especially if you are lucky and get a room with a view to the ocean. The local market, the shops, restaurants are 20 meters away from the hotel.

The hotel has no own parking space. We had to use one of the public parking houses which was quite expensive this way. The management could sign a deal with any of those houses to allow parking for a lower fee. Renting a few places.... (By the way: contrary to the reviews, you can pay by card for the parking)

We loved our room (601) and the very large veranda where we were able to enjoy the sunshine every day before getting ready to go out in the evening. Our room and most importantly the bed were very clean and extremely comfortable and the hotel is in a great location. There was a slight problem with one of the sun beds on the veranda being badly cracked on one leg (it was already like it when we arrived) but when we reported to reception they made sure it was looked at and was replaced straight away.

It is situated in a very busy area so we felt it could probably useful if it was to have at least double if not triple glazing as we were woken every morning at 7am by the traffic noise and a very loud minor bird (or similar) that lives in a cage on a veranda across the street from the hotel. However, most of the noise had calmed down again by 10am. We also felt that the flooding in the bathroom (wet room) every time we had a shower might be controlled better if the floor was a slight incline or the drain set slightly deeper so that the water could flow away better.

The staff was really friendly and attentive, the location was very nice with restaurants, small shops etc., the room was clean and cleaned each day. We would prefer more comfortable matraces and pillows but it was okay. The breakfast was good, lots to choose from but same each day.

The street outside the hotel is very noisy, under the hotel is a Pingo Doce supermarket and a gas station, both businesses are active from early morning. The hotel room does not have AC, so from 6:30 you are waking up to people and cars stocking up the supermarket, then beeping of the cashiers from 7:30 and powerwashing cars from across the street, cant forget to mention early meetups of local retired community in front of the store. If you have earplugs and dont mind closed window you will be okay, dont get me wrong, we had fun monitoring the local life on the street.

The hotel is simple but very nice and clean, rooms are cozy and tidy. But what made my stay there amazing was the personnel. Each and every person there I had an interaction with was extremely nice, helpful, and friendly. Already before I checked in I texted the hotel and asked for help with the busses from Funchal and they responded to me fast, with clear explanations, and sent me proper locations of the bus stops. In the hotel itself, whenever I spoke to any of the personnel we would strike a friendly conversation, it made me feel extremely happy and welcome and it is what made my stay there so enjoyable.

Perfect location, amazing view on ocean from room. Rooms is not new but very clean and comfortable. Cosy, silent and very light. Bed is comfortable, personal is friendly and always laughs. Not any smells. Stable WIFI. Very pleasure price :)

It was few free parking places, but 3 is not enough. Near they have paid parking which is good compromise.

The parking situation sucks. Everywhere you have to pay, the hotel has like 3 parking spots, always full. They don't even mention the existence of the parking.

The hotel was in a great location next to shops, beach and restaurants. The room was comfortable and the views were breathtaking

The walls were paper thin so you could hear the guests on either side talking.

Location Room was clean and nice Personal especially Laura and Lukas ( cute girl and boy which was very helpful to us) I think this was the most why the impressional of this hotel is ideal
