As the room was booked for a p & j event I was worried about how busy the hotel would be, however, everything was super organized and the staff were used to anxious people worried about time scale. Evening meal was lovely and came on super quick time without compromising the quality. Staff were organized and greeted us on our return from the event. I was very happy with the gallery room, a nice change to an ordinary, everyday one room bedroom.

We stayed in a gallery room and the only bad comment I have is that we could hear other guests talking in their room. Although not enough to hear what they were saying.

This is a lovely small hotel, ideally located for the TECA. Whilst the decor is a little dated everything is clean and tidy. The room, although a little small, was ideal for a one night stay and had all the usual facilities. The Tassimo machine was a nice touch. Breakfast was nice with a good choice of cereals and pastries, the cooked breakfast was made to order. Excellent haggis and black pudding. We didn't use the bar but had a quick nose after breakfast and it looked like a nice chilled out space to relax in with a wee tipple. All of the staff were friendly and helpful without being overbearing. We would stay again.

The Craighaar Hotel in Aberdeen beautifully captures the charm of Scottish hospitality. During my two-night stay, I was delighted by the friendly, attentive staff and the stunning surroundings that reflect Scotland's beauty. The rooms were clean, tidy, and elegantly infused with Scottish decor. A hearty Scottish breakfast each morning was a delightful treat. The overall service was outstanding, making my stay truly memorable. The Craighaar Hotel is a must-visit for a genuine Scottish experience in Aberdeen.

Nothing.

The property was booked on its convenience for the P and J arena. It is very close. A c 5 minute walk. The staff without exception were very friendly and helpful. We were able to arrange breakfast on arrival despite it not being in our rate. Pleased we did as it was very good. Smallish continental buffet but the cooked breakfast was made to order and it was excellent. Arrived quickly, generous quantity and everything was piping hot. Nice bar area and excellent staff there also.

Our room overall felt small. It was very clean but it’ had only a double bed and there isn’t a lot of spare space at all. You have to move a chair to access the tea making facilities.

From arrival to departure staff were friendly helpfully & smiling The standard room tho small was spotless & all we required for an overnight stay at the P&J Arena with wet room shower/toilet comfy bed & tea/coffee machine There is ample parking & the P&J Arena is only a short walk away Our dinner albeit from a reduced Theatre Menu still had plenty choice & was lovely The breakfast was first class, no queuing at a buffet or toasters.... all delivered freshly cooked to your table & again a good selection on the menu. Juices/cereals/pasties were laid out to select should you want From now on this will be our hotel of choice before the Hilton or Aloft at the P&J Arena & also it is wonderful to know that this is still a family run hotel

Nothing everything was spot on

Great hotel convenient for TECA / P&J / airport. We had a very nice room with an excellent shower and bath. Great food (well worth including breakfast in the package - best kippers ever) - and dinner also good, though not the cheapest. Friendly helpful staff. They kept the bar open after Pixies concert so residents could have a night-cap ... a nice touch. Highly recommend.

Few hairs in bath, and a couple of toenails on the carpet. Not easy to see for the staff we realise but ...

The divided room with a bed upstairs and sofa bed downstairs - v good for 3 of us. The food was GREAT. Ate evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast. Really good quality ingredients, well-cooked, best hotel brek we've had in quite a while. The staff were LOVELY. Such nice, helpful receptionists, restaurant and bar staff friendly, patient, unflustered. Seems to be a well-run place.

The beds... *sigh*. The normal bed, this is — too narrow (it was a double — we've not slept in one of those for *years*, and we're both portly... ) and too hard. This is why chain hotels clean up — king-size beds with posh mattresses. Be the facilities never so good, you come to a hotel to *sleep*, as much as anything. If the beds aren't good, that's a big part of it.

The hotel was beautiful, the food was delicious and of a very high standard. My fish was cooked to perfection, it was a large portion and I thought I would not be able to finish it all but it was so lovely I could not help myself and enjoyed every mouthful. My Hot Bannoffee Tart was devine and again thoroughly enjoyed it all. The staff were amazing and so welcoming and friendly. They were very helpful at all times and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we required. Our room was lovely and quiet but no view which did not bother us as quiet is more important to us. I liked that when we came back from our event that there was someone at the door to ensure that only guests of the hotel and their friends were allowed to enter. Breakfast was wonderful.and the table service was a very lovely touch. Food was cooked to order and not such cooked on mass. Would definitely book again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Aberdeen.

There was no lift, which would have been helpful for me as I have a back issue and walk with a crutch. However there are only 2 flights of stairs which are wide and large steps which are it easier for me but as I had my husband to help me was fine.

Great location for attending a conference at P&J Live. Comfortable room which was very clean. Liked the extra touches of a tea pot and the hot chocolate. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Was able to park on day of arrival before check in and on the day after check out. Cooked breakfast was delicious - liked you could pick what you wanted. Ate on one evening and meal was a good portion and tasty. Would book again.

The reception staff were great. We stayed in a suite. It was a good size, with a comfortable bed on a mezzanine floor. Nice seeting area with a a settee and a desk. The cooked breakfast choice was good. I had the full breakfast, and my wife the smoked fish. Both excellent. Decent coffee too. There is a cozy bar, with a welcoming fire. The drink prices are quite reasonable by hotel standards. Idea position to go the the P&J Arena.

The heating was turned down in the bedroom when we arrived, so a bit cold. The mezzanine bed area heated quite quickly, but the lower living area took some time to warm up. The continental breakfast choice was quite limited. No meat or cheese.
