A convenient location just off the main Union Street and a 5 minute taxi drive from the railway station. Staff were very helpful, the delicious breakfast was self service with hot and cold food and the room was spotlessly clean. An iron, ironing board and hairdryer was in the room together with a kettle

The room would have benefitted with more brighter lighting in the middle section, only small LED lamps beside the bed and the TV had to be retuned every time it was switched on. The dual functioning door of the bathroom which also closes off the toilet area inside nearly trapped my fingers, thank goodness for a over hanging towel. A high step up into the shower cubicle too

My room was £65 with breakfast included - we’re a family of 4! Absolutely amazing value for money! Room was double bed with pull out sofa all ready for us getting in. Wifi and tv for kids couldn’t have asked for a better deal. Traveled 3 hour 15 min from Glasgow by bus, then I walked from union square easy to the hotel! After checking in my bags my daughter who I was visiting told us to get the No 1 bus so we walked to Union street turned the corner and the bus stop was right there too. Had a great time getting around :)

I can’t complain about anything it was brilliant- the breakfast included for that price was the Cherry on top!

Great hotel,great breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful. Carpark leaves a lot to be desired however……entrance filthy …….need a good power hose and it is so unsightly having all the dirty linen from hotel in containers spilling over. Gives such poor impression of hotel. Shower cubicle really very dangerous getting in and out - so easy to catch foot on high ‘lip’ of entrance. Sure people will have bad accidents. It is a safety problem which needs addressing. The shower cubicle possibly needs a step in/out for safety. Loved our stay…….hope above information helpful.

Very helpful and polite staff. Communication had been excellent. We had enquired about disabled parking and not only did they email to say this had been reserved for us but we found out that we did not have to pay which was an unexpected bonus. Room was very spacious, clean and great water pressure in the shower, even on the 4th floor. We already knew that the inclusive breakfast had a limited variety of hot food selection but what was there was hot and plentiful. You would not leave hungry. Excellent value for money.

We twice missed the entrance to the car park because the sign was not very visible if you are new to the area and trying to negotiate driving and navigation.

Friendly reception upon arrival and not long to wait for room key. Room was big and bed was clean and comfortable. All the lamps worked! Desk and chair - vital when working away from home and so many places overlook this. Fantastic shower and toiletries available. Iron and board too - excellent for work travel. Breakfast was continental and cooked. Lots to choose from. Speedy key drop so no hanging around at departure. 15 minute walk from Union Square with lots of shops and places to eat en route. If you fancy a stroll, head East to the beach - about three miles there and back. Plenty of places to eat and be entertained at beachfront area too. p.s. fantastic bakery directly across the road from the hotel - opens at 7am. Would definitely recommend the hotel - and the bakery!

Nothing that would deter me from returning. Sure there's a bit of noise later on at night but it's city centre. Certainly didn't affect my sleep.

Central location.

At breakfast all of the forks have their tangs pointing upward. You could only pick them up from the tang, a woman if front of me picked 3 forks up with her fingers then replaced 2 of them so these forks are now dirty. I did say to the breakfast staff on my second morning but it was still the same the next morning. I can recall the last IHG hotel I stayed in it was the same. Strangely all the knifes and spoons had their handles upwards. Also there were no tea spoons had to use a wooden sticker to make my tea.

Perfect location for town centre. Hotel was spotless clean. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room was great and spacious.

Our room key kept cancelling so we had to go down to reception on 4 occasions, during our 1 night stay, for them to fix our keycard so we could get back into our room. The lighting in our room was very dim. Breakfast was a disaster. Hot food kept running out. I stood waiting on the waitress to come back with more egg by the time she came back my bacon was cold only then to discover the beans had ran out also, so I just did without. The hash browns were hard and tasteless.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, quiet at night. Cleaning every day. It was warm because there was a heater in the room. The staff was very friendly. There was a parking place on request in advance, it cost 10 pounds per day. Great location almost on the center on a quiet street.

The only downside is breakfast. I understand that it's included in the stay and you don't have to pay extra for it but how can you make such a tasteless scramble eggs and offer such tasteless coffee. I took one point off for breakfast so I rated it at 9 points.

The breakfast had plenty of options and I appreciated fresh apples and bananas. My room was on the first floor conveniently located near the lift and stairs, separated by a door. The shower had great pressure and overall a nice bathroom, I appreciated the grab rail in the shower. I booked ahead to park my car at the hotel. I liked being able to open the window in the room. The location was very convenient to everything I wanted to walk to in the city.

I would have appreciated a folding rack for my suitcase. Late Saturday night there were very rowdy people outside, thankfully with such a comfy bed I still managed to get enough sleep.

It was clean, comfortable & in a convenient location for my needs. This was all rounded off with an excellent breakfast. However, my lasting memory will be of the young gentleman on duty in reception about 7pm on Tuesday 10th June. On discovering I had lost the keys to my locked case, I proceeded to reception & this young man had no hesitation in helping. Turned out to be a difficult task - about 40mins - but he succeeded! His attitude was amazing, he is a huge asset to your team. Thankyou to him from me.
