My room was £65 with breakfast included - we’re a family of 4! Absolutely amazing value for money! Room was double bed with pull out sofa all ready for us getting in. Wifi and tv for kids couldn’t have asked for a better deal. Traveled 3 hour 15 min from Glasgow by bus, then I walked from union square easy to the hotel! After checking in my bags my daughter who I was visiting told us to get the No 1 bus so we walked to Union street turned the corner and the bus stop was right there too. Had a great time getting around :)

I can’t complain about anything it was brilliant- the breakfast included for that price was the Cherry on top!

Great hotel,great breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful. Carpark leaves a lot to be desired however……entrance filthy …….need a good power hose and it is so unsightly having all the dirty linen from hotel in containers spilling over. Gives such poor impression of hotel. Shower cubicle really very dangerous getting in and out - so easy to catch foot on high ‘lip’ of entrance. Sure people will have bad accidents. It is a safety problem which needs addressing. The shower cubicle possibly needs a step in/out for safety. Loved our stay…….hope above information helpful.

Central location.

At breakfast all of the forks have their tangs pointing upward. You could only pick them up from the tang, a woman if front of me picked 3 forks up with her fingers then replaced 2 of them so these forks are now dirty. I did say to the breakfast staff on my second morning but it was still the same the next morning. I can recall the last IHG hotel I stayed in it was the same. Strangely all the knifes and spoons had their handles upwards. Also there were no tea spoons had to use a wooden sticker to make my tea.

Perfect location for town centre. Hotel was spotless clean. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room was great and spacious.

Our room key kept cancelling so we had to go down to reception on 4 occasions, during our 1 night stay, for them to fix our keycard so we could get back into our room. The lighting in our room was very dim. Breakfast was a disaster. Hot food kept running out. I stood waiting on the waitress to come back with more egg by the time she came back my bacon was cold only then to discover the beans had ran out also, so I just did without. The hash browns were hard and tasteless.

The breakfast had plenty of options and I appreciated fresh apples and bananas. My room was on the first floor conveniently located near the lift and stairs, separated by a door. The shower had great pressure and overall a nice bathroom, I appreciated the grab rail in the shower. I booked ahead to park my car at the hotel. I liked being able to open the window in the room. The location was very convenient to everything I wanted to walk to in the city.

I would have appreciated a folding rack for my suitcase. Late Saturday night there were very rowdy people outside, thankfully with such a comfy bed I still managed to get enough sleep.

Price was excellent. Breakfast excellent for the price paid. Room, bed and lighting were fine. Quick efficient check in. Location an easy drive from hospital which we were visiting. Plenty of guests so good atmosphere at breakfast. Tv with subtitles in breakfast room.

We had to use public parking as no room at hotel. Because you paid on leaving multistory nearby it was very simple and only a short walk. Not mad keen on strange multifunction bathroom door. If you don't leave it closed enclosing toilet only I find I frequently trap my fingers when opening it.

Breakfast was extremely busy at the time we booked, so we waited for the coach guests to leave. We met some of the people the night before, which was a bonus , friendly fun evening. Excellent choice of tasty food

The hot water machine was out of order, I fould the pump flask difficult to use. I think it was nearly empty. We arrived at lunchtime and were disappointed hotel didn't offer a light lunch. We had a hospital appointment so stayed in our room until our taxi arrived. It was a pity nobody at reception mentioned that there was a bakery across the road (we didn't see it on our way in as were dodging the rain). Bakery appeared to offer a good selection of meals also takeaways.

We stayed at this hotel for a Saturday and Sunday night and were very impressed. The rooms are compact but well designed so they have everything you need. The standard of service and cleanliness were dependable and the feel of the hotel was bright and welcoming. We asked for a quiet room so were on the top (4th floor) and it was, indeed, quiet. Breakfast was included and was excellent with a large selection of both hot and cold options as a help yourself, well presented buffet. The hotel is very central and there is parking in a multi-storey car park at the end of Chapel Street. As there are no parking charges between 8.00pm on Saturday and 1.00pm on Sunday or between 5pm on Sunday and 8.00am on Monday this cost us less than £1 in total as we only needed parking overnight. We had dinner at The Atrium, a Scottish restaurant opposite the hotel and I would recommend this also.

The one-way roads around the hotel are a little confusing if you are driving but this is to be expected for a hotel located so close to Union Street and is not a fault of the hotel.

We had to reserve parking prior to arriving to the location which we did. We rang the day of arriving at 7am and reserved 2 disabled spaces (we booked 3 rooms as we travelled with extended family) however when we arrived we had 1 available and we had to try and get another one. Which luckily we did manage to but please if your going to this hotel be aware. The location is okay, I wouldn’t say brilliant especially if you have small children, however it is a good walk to get to a decent resturant/fast food place. The hotel was clean and breakfast was average. The wait on vegetarian sausages was over 30 mins. There was a lift and a backdoor to the car park to access but please be aware for a disabled person this is difficult to access especially if travelling on your own.

The room was very hot and despite having a air con system it still got unbearable at times. The location wasn’t as accessible as advertised. The carparking situation was a mess and it was tight. Having big cars in a tight small carpet made things difficult.

Breakfast and location were good but my room (242) was outside the street where people make a lot of noise after coming home from a good night. I loved the room outside of this, it does get chilly during the night so not sure it is double glazed but the heater worked so was fine. The staff accommodated me as quickly as they could given how busy they were. Thank you

On the weekend the street is on is busy and people make a lot of noise. I also didn't like how cold the room was when waking up but that's my fault for not utilising the heater in time.
