The value for money was great! The building was very quirky (in a really good way) and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were new and the complimentary tea and coffee were awesome. The staff were exceedingly friendly and let me extend my checkout time by an hour.
Only slight downsides would be the bathroom had no where to hang your towel. And there was a weird something stuck to the shower floor. But don’t let that scare you off the place was very clean besides that.

I've been here for nearly two weeks, and Anu (I hope I spelled that right!) is such a thoughtful and warm person, always smiling and incredibly kind. On the very first day, she helped me adjust my room and move my luggage. Every day here has been so comfortable. The staircase is really vintage and full of history, which is charming. The hotel's location is excellent, close to bus stops, the train station, and department stores, so it's super convenient. The toiletries smell great, and there's plenty of hot water with good pressure! It was so cold outside, so coming back to a hot shower in the room was incredibly comfortable. They also kept replenishing the coffee and tea bags in the room, and there was housekeeping almost every day. A big thank you to the staff for making the room so comfortable every single day!

This hotel is very central and good value for the money paid. It is not the place for you if you require a 4 or 5 star hotel, but you are also not paying anywhere near the cost of that standard of accommodation. The staff are lovely, the hotel feels safe and is close walking distance to bus and train stations. The beds are comfortable. The shower is hot with good water pressure. Yes the building is old, the carpets have seen better days (but they are clean). If you are on a budget and want to stay in central Aberdeen this may just be the place you are looking for. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Super friendly place in an extremely central location. Directly opposite bus station, 100m or so to train station, even have bus stops outside the front door. I liked my room, nice and spacious, good bed, good facilities and a shower to die for. Honestly the shower could double as a pressure washer it had so much power and I will miss it as it was wonderful. Due to the central location you're a stones throw from everything, restaurants, take aways, pubs, attractions the lot.

I had a safe and comfortable 15-day stay at Aberdeen House Hotel. As a solo traveler, I felt very secure with the two sturdy doors—one at the main entrance and another before accessing the rooms. The staff and owners were incredibly kind, always ready to help, even carrying my five bags to my room. The rooms were cozy, with hot water and internet on every floor, and they even stored my luggage for an extra day. A great place run by wonderful people. Highly recommended!
Internet is available on every floor, though sometimes the connection can be a bit weak.

No frills, tons of character, convenient location, impeccably clean, which was all especially good considering what good value it is. Relatively basic, but very good at what it is. Really comfy beds and bedding.
So many stairs and no lift. TBH it’s not even as big a complaint, considering what good service we got for a really good price. We got a bit knackered, but we could afford it. As long as you’re okay with a wee bit of exercise, the hotel is fantastic.

The hotel is so central, I can’t believe I hadn’t known of it before! The lady at the desk was very welcoming and most of all - my room was so comfy and cosy! Everything was very clean and I had a nice hot shower in the morning. And I had a free upgrade. Really fantastic value for money and I will definitely stay again. I will also say, as a lone female, I felt very safe too which was great
Nothing at all. It doesn’t have a lift but that wasn’t a problem for me at all.

Staff were very friendly. Very welcoming from when we entered. After a long night out we were able to pay to extend an extra night and the reception was very helpful. Very close to the bus station, we didn't stress too much due to this and made meeting our group of friends much easier. Highly recommended due to the friendliness of staff and reception. They were fairly quick to respond to messages as we can sometimes be a bit quiet for talking. Thank you Aberdeen House Hotel.
Due to the area it can be a little loud, especially when its the weekend. But we expected this due to how close we were to the bus station. One guest was a slight irritation as they didn't make it to the 3rd floor and was snoring loudly outside our room door. This cannot be a fault of the hotel, someone clearly had a goodnight. There are a lot of stairs, they mention this but would be difficult for those with leg injuries.

The location is excellent, it was the cleanest hotel I have ever seen in the UK! I arrived on a Saturday and wanted to sleep really early (9 pm), so I found it very loud on the first floor. The staff was very helpful; they moved me to the third floor, which was nice and quiet. Water pressure is also excellent.
The bed was not very comfortable, it was okay. There was no lift, but they were kind enough to help me with the bags.
