Good location. Good size room. Good bathroom

Lifts were bad. No clear stairs marked. It took 20 Minutes to get to breakfast from floor 5. By which point breakfast was dried out, no eggs left and I had to ask three times for more croissants to be brought out. Breakfast is not cheap and was not up to standard

Food in bistro and free breakfast was lovely. Plenty of choice.

Air con switches off itself early hours. Rooms too stuffy and hot means a restless sleep. No where to plug in kettle sign above kettle tray in alcove advises to use plugs in dressing table. Only plugs at dressing table are other floor. Nowhere to plug in straightners apart from plugs under dressing table other floor or at bedside which is not near mirror. Awkward as I have oesteo arthritis and cant really bend down. Bath is slippy even with bath mat in situ. Water doesn't run cold , more lukewarm. Pillows too soft. You really need 3 to be comfortable. Didn't sleep well either night due to air con not being on and stuffy room with uncomfortable pillows

Everything !!! The one bedroomed suite was perfect as there was a sofa bed in the lounge. Rooms were spotless, well equipped, and have everything you need and comfortable beds .The staff were professional and lovely. They instantly made my 11 year old and 6 years old guests feel at ease. The surroundings were beautiful 😍 The hotel was first class. Breakfast was delicious with choices for everyone 😋 The pool was fab !!! We ordered food on our first night from room service, and it was delicious !! The help we received before attending the hotel was amazing The view across the Clyde was stunning I travel to Glasgow a lot and stay in different hotels , the Crown Plaza is my only go-to place from now on ..It will suit all types of travellers. I can honestly state that it is the perfect place to bring children to . I was very impressed by the way my 2 under 16 year old guests were made to feel completely at ease during checking in

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave , however, we will definitely be back

Really nice hotel and close to the OVO which was the purpose of our visit. Friendly staff.

Was contacted prior to our visit and asked if we would like to upgrade to use the executive room and have complimentary snacks and drinks. However the executive room was tiny and there were far too many people in there all of whom had also been asked if they wished to upgrade. Nowhere to sit. Snacks were a bit of cheese and some olives. Not worth the additional cost of the upgrade. Very disappointed.

The room was clean and large with nice view. The bed is comfortable and large size. Fridge, large tv and iron was available. Bathroom clean with small bathtub. The dining area has an amazing view facing the science centre and BBC building across the river the breakfast was open buffet with basic Scottish breakfast items. Vegetarian options are available upon request. The swimming pool was small but clean and the spa was amazingly comforting. The staff were nice and helping despite being busy. All in all was good experience. Highly recommend.

There were only two lifts and always busy. The property was obviously old but well maintained.

Breakfast was great, lots of options to choose from. Room, good only the USB connections in the plugs by the bed did not work, Staff brilliant, EasyJet lost my bag and then delivered the next day to the hotel, reception staff very helpful and made sure that it was put in my room when it did arrive. In addition, I stupidly left my house, car keys and some clothing in a drawer, and didn't remember until I was at the airport and airside, the lovely reception staff, arranged for the items to be put in a bag, and sent in a taxi to the airport - complete lifesavers !!! They were so helpful, when they didnt really need to be as it was completely my own fault. Just brilliant staff.

When I arrived the restaurant was closed - closes at 9pm, which I think is way too early, especially for travelling business people. I was able to order room service but at a £5 delivery charge - normally I wouldn't mind if this was my choice but when the restaurant is open, I don't think this should be applicable at such an early time. Then, when I received my food it was lukewarm, I was too hungry and tired to complain. In addition, there are no deserts to choose from on the room service menu either which is disappointing.

Great staff (both pre-visit and during stay) - friendly and willing to help. Hotel very busy but I wasn't rushed or made to feel a nuisance. Great location for SEC events and some of the museums/science centre etc. Comfy beds. I wasn't able to make use of hotel's facilities due to time but several on offer from pool to salon. Easy to get to and easy to park (though it cost to do so). Surprisingly quiet at night for a busy hotel in a city.

Room service - charged £5 to deliver; not obvious from menu how to order and 'room service' button on phone didn't work. Had to go down to reception to order which defeated the point of being able to stay in room. One meal excellent, the other was a bit cold and chips were like oven chips (though burger very good). Lifts took ages to come (one out of order) and hotel was busy. Pillows not comfortable (but I'm fussy about that! - guest slept well).

Both staff of the hotel and hotel restaurant were extremely attentive and helpful. Waiters were really quick, and the food was brilliant

The hotel room was great. However, the air conditioning was rather loud and was slightly disruptive when trying to sleep at night. In addition to this, while trying to stream netflix from my phone, it would not allow me to pair my device to the TV, particularly at night time as if there were too many devices paired to other TVs across the entire hotel, thus not allowing the pairing of my device to our rooms TV.

Location (short cab ride from Glasgow Central / to Hampden Park Stadium for a concert). The hotel having its own cab rank outside for customers (no stress) and the cab drivers were very friendly and helpful. The hotel staff so friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. Beds and pillows very comfortable. 12 noon checkout (so not rushed after a long day the previous day and late night).

The only aspect i didn't like was the adjoining door between rooms (wasn't aware of this when booking) could hear the guests in the room next door if our TV wasn't on)!

Our eventual room was good. We had taken up the offer of upgrade to higher floor and access to the clubroom. We spoke to Lenka at checkout and she cancelled the payment for this as we could not get in as full of children and only had 1 glass of wine over the whole stay (whilst standing in a corner) She is a top class receptionist, caring and understanding, this stay was a gift from my daughter for my 79th birthday...which is in April but Shen Yun at the SEC was my gift.. Breakfast was top class and worth every penny fantastic!

First room we were taken too smelled of smoking, also the passage outside the room, strong and pungent. The clubroom was full of children, nowhere for us to sit. This happened over the two days we stayed. Our evening meal for which we chose fish and chips was decidedly uninspiring and tasteless, I would not choose again.
