We originally chose this place because of the free parking and it was outside of the ZTL, but there are so many other reasons to choose this place. We loved staying at this villa. It's a little bit away from the congestion - a very good thing! - and taking the C4 bus gets you to Ponte Vecchio to save some time walking. Also, it is a short walk up the hill to Piazzale Michelangelo, which you will want to visit at least once for sunset. Angelina and Cherubino - thanky you very much for making our vacation enjoyable and memorable. We highly recommend staying here!

The house is located in a quiet garden and is easily accessible from the adjacent road. The location of the house is excellent - either 15-20 minutes walk to the historical center, or by bus from the stop, which is right nearby. The possibility of parking the car right next to the house is unique. We had a room on the ground floor, so the shade of the trees protected us from the sun. Sitting on the terrace was very pleasant. Thanks to the kitchenette, we enjoyed breakfast there. We would like to stay again.

Everything was OK

Thank you Angelina for making our stay special. Location is excellent, way from tourists but only 20 minutes walk from centre of old town. You can park your car securely into the courtyard. Rooms are big with high ceilings. Bathrooms lovely, shower with fantastic water pressure making washing long hair easy. It was my birthday while we stayed and Angelina gave me lovely bottle of Prosecco and rose from her garden, so thoughtful. Accommodations offers definitely Florentine hospitality.

That we had to leave but we will definitely be back.

Lovely and helpful hosts. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet (we were at the back of the house, and we rarely heard other guests). We had chosen to stay here because there was a kitchenette (with a 2 ring hob), this and the cooking equipment was adequate for cooking simple meals. The hotel is close to many of the city centre sites (half an hour's walk) but far enough away to escape the crowds.

All good. Would definitely stay here again. - I didn't manage to find any supermarkets nearby, but there are plenty of grocery options and a couple of markets in the city centre.

Angelina was a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble the rooms were large clean and well appointed 15-20 minute walk from the square and although no breakfast option there are plenty of lovely coffee shops within a minute or two from the residence.

The only downside was our room was at the front of the property which was lonely as we had a balcony but it is a busy road and I am not used to noise when sleeping I think I would have preferred a room at the back of the property. We didn’t ask as I am sure Angelina would have accommodated us All in all a small downside as we really enjoyed staying at the residence.

We have stayed at the Residence Michelangiolo 4 or 5 times over many years with various family members and friends. We love it every time. Instead of feeling like a tourist in an over touristed city; you stay in a gorgeous residence with high ceilings and lots of old world charm. (and off street parking) The owners are always welcoming and helpful suggesting activities and places to eat. It's like having friends or family in the city.

We always love staying here when we are in Florence. I think this was our 5th stay at Residence Michelangiolo. The property is beautiful and the building is gorgeous. The location is perfect for us, outside the over-touristed center of town; and we are happy to walk. There are many good restaurants and cafes in the area. The hosts are welcoming and hospitable; they make you feel like family friends.

The place is exactly what you need for a great stay in Firenze. It’s not in the crowded center, but still just a 15–20 minute walk away. It’s also located in a very nice neighborhood with coffee shops and some restaurants. The place is quiet and beautiful. The host was amazing — she truly cared about us and made sure everything was perfect. The room was big and comfortable with everything needed! It was a really great stay.

We had a lovely stay at this charming residence near the center of Florence. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Piazza Michelangelo and close to the city center, making it easy to explore the main sights. Having free parking was a huge bonus, especially in Florence. The building has a lot of character, with a historic feel that added to the experience. The host was very kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

This was our fourth stay at Residence Michelangelo and like the name, it feels like staying in a beautiful residence/home, rather than a transient hotel. The hosts (Florence natives) are welcoming and help with reservations, recommendations, directions and basically anything you need. (parking on premise is important in this city) The property is walking distance to the center of the city. There are many restaurants near by which are frequented by locals rather than tourists. (much better).
