It was a perfect place to holiday. The food was excellent with lots of choices in the main buffet style restaurant and the three speciality restaurants. The room was spacious and kept immaculately clean. I enjoyed the fitness classes and in particular the afternoon aqua class which was so much fun. All the staff from the housekeepers to the front of house staff were very helpful and always had a cheerful smile. I really felt I was being treated like Royalty. Most importantly the cool ocean breeze and the fusion of Arabic, Berber and French culture in Agadir made the holiday even more enjoyable.

As an Australian I am spoilt by the fine wines in my country and do enjoy a good wine with dinner. The local red and white wines served by the hotel were a bit rough around the edges, but I was in Morocco so I should not complain too much as all the hotels bars offered a wide selection of spirits, beers and cocktails.

The hotel was beautiful, very picturesque. Our room had plenty of space and the bathroom was amazing. We had a nice balcony with chairs and table. We always managed to get a sunbed in the mornings. The a la carte restaurants were amazing, and loved the range of breakfast choices.

The staff were very hit and miss with who were helpful or people who were not attentive at all. We had a broken fan, and it took 3 trips to reception for something to be done about it. The buffet food at dinner was good but not incredible. The bar had very limited sugar free drink options, and not the best cocktails.

Exceptional stay at Riu Tikida Palace A memorable experience from start to finish. The lobby design is stunning, rooms are spacious, comfortable, and perfectly air-conditioned with a great view. The buffet was a highlight — high-quality and varied, probably the best we’ve experienced in an all-inclusive. Staff were incredibly kind, always smiling, discreet yet attentive. Housekeeping was spotless, and we appreciated the special birthday touch for my husband — a decorated bed and a gesture at the à la carte dinner.

Only downside: the shower in our room had poor drainage. Water pooled after 25 seconds and despite reporting it multiple times through the Riu app, it wasn’t resolved. That said, it didn’t ruin our stay.

The staff absolutely go above and behond for every guest here! It was an amazing experience. So many choices to dine and eat in, we were spoiled by choice. The rooms are huge! Spotless clean in every area. The young team that encourage all guest to take part in activities are just amazing 👏 Every member of staff have a smile on their face and are so friendly. I'll never forget my stay here and hope to return one day. This complex is so big and just infront of the beach area.

Absolutely nothing!

Hotel was great, the room was very clean when we arrived at the daily room clean was very good. The minibar was re stocked every two days with water and cans of drinks. We enjoyed the hotel pool, swim up bar and the food and drinks. We would recommend this hotel to anyone we know visiting the Agadir.

We would not change much about the hotel, we would have liked more activities from the entertainment team during the day and it was the same routine each day with the activities.

Very beautiful property overlooking the ocean. The surrounding area is clean and safe for strolls along the beach. The hotel and facilities were great. The staff and service here are excellent. The breakfast and dinner buffets are high quality. The all-inclusive was great as we were traveling together with many families and it allowed everyone to eat at their leisure. The atmosphere is super relaxed and friendly.

We had a little bit of a weird experience at the Spa. Keep in mind that the Hammam is mixed-gender and they didn't tell us until we were in there, so if you want privacy this isn't the place... The shower in the rooms are really high up in a raised bathtub and the lighting is really dark. It makes it feel a little bit dangerous getting in and out of the shower.

Great atmosphere, super animations, very friendly staff, especially animators, waiters at the bars and hotel photographers who did a great job :) (although disappointing staff at the reception - they looked tired and even annoyed at tourists, never smiled which needs attention as this is the first contact of the hotel with guests, so I suggest improvement, because it affects the whole assessment of the stay), beautiful, comfortable swimming pool, very large, comfortable rooms, thorough cleaning of rooms every day, chilled drinks always in the fridge, excellent food, varied, nicely served, several different restaurants, also very elegant restaurants with dishes ordered from a card, fantastic location right by a beautiful, large beach and a long, pleasant promenade, wonderful sunsets visible from the hotel, wonderful walks along the beach as soon as you leave the hotel, great starting point for excursions (e.g. quad bikes) - a must see for tourists - it was a pity to leave, we will definitely return to this particular hotel. The RIU hotel chain was recommended to me by my sister, she was right, very good standard - I highly recommend it!

The beach is sensational. Beautiful sand and water. The pool was excellent. The food options at the buffets were brilliant. The al a carte was booked out but in the end preferred to have the buffets. Lots of vegetarian options too. This was really top notch

Couple of small things to fix. The staff looked poorly managed. Some knew what they were doing and others didn't. Examples like getting a table and being told to find one despite them all being covered in plates etc. Usually the staff suggest a table for you to sit on. Cutlery was another issue. I don't know why they can't be left out for people to take themselves (it is a buffet). Instead you have to ask for cutlery and wait a while. Also almost zero teaspoons. And plates would run out quick. Basic stuff that if they got right would be much better.

This hotel wow, after a renovation early this year this hotel is brand new, food, service, environment everything you could ask for. The perfect place to relax, family friendly and the grounds are that big there is a place for everyone to chill out. Food, cocktails and coffee great! Room very comfy and super quiet, (4037) this hotel is as the name suggests, a palace! Only recommendation is the aircon wasn’t as cold as it could have been but the ceiling fan and balcony sea breeze addressed that. Will come back.

Most friendly & professional hotel staff who provided an exceptional service - very attentive and down to earth people. The interior of the lobby and hotel grounds were stunning & the beach is close by. The food was exceptional - we enjoyed the buffet and all individual restaurants. The variety, taste and quality of food was beyond are expectations.

Pools close at 6pm , would’ve been nice to go for evening swims. Room was spacious and clean, except there was a sewage-like smell in the bathroom from time to time.
