Great location, great view and very comfortable

$125 cleaning fee, and I was told to wash the dishes and leave a tip for the cleaner. I just booked for 1 night

The houseboat had more than enough space for us (there were 2 of us, though there were 2 large beds on the main floor and room in the cute little loft area that would have been great for kids). Publix and Walgreens are right next door which was nice for stocking up on supplies. The outdoor deck was wonderful and we saw manatee and even dolphins while sitting there. The kitchen was nicely equipped with dinnerware, glassware, utensils, pots/pans, toaster, coffee maker. We saved money making our own breakfasts most days and eased our way into the mornings eating it out on the deck. There are free kayaks and bikes as well. And the best thing was that we paid less than most of the area hotels were charging and got SO much more!

This is all VERY minor, but as someone else said, it is an active marina and there are working boats coming in and out, parked in between all of the houseboats along the one side and this can be a little noisy if you are trying to sleep in or enjoy a quiet morning on the deck. And also, someone mentioned the pillows. There are a lot of them, but they are kind of weird. It feels like there is trapped air in them that is impossible to decompress. Bring your own pillows if you can!

Fabulous location, and the units are EXACTLY like what's pictured. Very clean and perfectly equipped with everything you could need. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils and dish sets, while the bathroom had plentiful towels and mini toiletries. They also provided bikes and kayaks, and were closely situated to Sombrero beach. The Publix grocery right next door made it easy to stock up for supplies. We were very pleasantly surprised, and raved about it to friends/family.

Welcome to the Keys... the roosters are everywhere! And they crow all through the night. We would have loved to sleep with our windows open, but after the first night we kept them closed with the A/C running to help cut down the sound.

I enjoyed the feeling of staying on the water in the Keys. There was plenty of room for myself. When I am on vacation I do not need much as I am usually in the house to sleep and escape the sun or heat for a few minutes here and there so it was just enough. I would stay here again for sure.

My only complaints would be having the bed right there as soon as you walk in was a little difficult to get things in and move around. The couch was also extremely uncomfortable. Just some minor changes like that would have made a great stay perfect.

This worked well for a girls' trip where we wanted more privacy than a single hotel room. The bedrooms are snug, but the living room had soace for us to sit when we weren't out on the back porch (where we spent most of pur time). The AC was wonderful. The loft area is not usable by adults (not tall enough if you want to stand up). The boat was very clean and a lovely marina view. We saw manatees a couple of mornings. Also,there is a Publix grocery store across the road, which was really convenient. One of the best features is that you can use a nice little beach club up the road-- really nice beach with chairs and a bit of shade as well as a pool and hot tub. Marathon was a great place to stay in the Keys-- close enough to go down to Key West a couple of days and up to Key Largo on another.

The only issue was that we needed beach towels for the beach club and we had to go on quite a trip to find the staff that had them (took a couple of days). Everything else was good.

The house boats were clean and new, staff were friendly and responsive, staying right on the water is lovely.

They asked us to clean our own dishes and tip the housekeeping staff -- two practices common early on with AirBnBs but which have long been discarded as impractical.

We had to change our plans to pull our camper down due to a medical situation. The houseboats were a perfect substitute and provided us a peaceful and relaxing week! Close to restaurants and you can walk to Publix! The best surprise of all was the morning visits by the manatee!! These far exceeded our expectations!

We stayed in houseboat #7 and our view of the lagoon was limited. Next time we book I will ask for a unit further around the cove. Also the mosquitos were pretty pesky after dark; but that's nature.

Everything....the location! the decor! the ambiance!, the amenities! ..even bikes .....it was HEAVEN!!!!! Our little house boat had a perfect layout with 2 bedroom...a well supplied kitchen...stove and fridge and BBQ...awesome deck.....LOVE..LOVE..LOVED IT. BEST PLACE MY SISTER AND I HAVE EVER STAYED!!!!! so sad to look at the photo...we didn't want to leave!!! We rode the bikes to Sombreo Beach for an evening g swim then rode back in wet bathing suits...just like we did when we were kids. Coffee, breakfast and dinner on the deck with a view down the channel and a manate siting thrown in for good measure!!!!!

NOTHING!!!!! IT WAS A PERFECT! EVEN THE SIGN IN THE BATHROOM! The neighbourig house had a motion sensor light was annoying!!!! (Nothing the resort can do about).

A unique property with a superb view. We loved watching the variety of fish swimming and jumping in the water. It was compact but this wasn’t an issue as we weren’t planning to cook. The beds were comfortable and shower worked surprisingly well. We took advantage of the kayaks and used the bikes daily to cycle to the beach. Access to the Cabana Club was an unexpected bonus and we spent an afternoon there using the pool and their beach area. It’s located within walking distance to supermarkets and there were lots of great restaurants within a few minutes drive.

Unfortunately, we didn’t see any manatees!

We loved our time @ Yacht Haven. Lovely quiet setting & we did have some manatees visit while we were enjoying time on our deck. The location was great for us since we were down with lots of other people all staying in various places around Marathon. Sombrero Beach is just under 2 miles down the road. You can use the bikes available to guests to visit the beach & not have to struggle to park a car. They also have kayaks available to use. The aqua lodge kitchen was very well equipped w/all the basics. The staff were all so gracious & friendly. We would absolutely stay in an aqua lodge again. We may just have to check out the other locations in the Keys.

I'm short & the beds are fairly high & if you have more than just the 2 of you, just know that you cross into the 2nd bedroom to access the bathroom.
