Ling was an amazing host, made us feel very welcome from the moment we got there. Room was spotlessly clean and a good size. Bed was very comfortable and the shower/bathroom very good too. Lots of breakfast options which were delicious! Only a 5/10 minute walk into Bath. Ling recommended some places for us to visit and has a guestbook in the room which previous guests have filled out for food recommendations. Overall an amazing stay we will definitely be booking here again if we find ourselves back in Bath. Very cute cats too! Thank you so much :)

Excellent location within easy walking distance to Bath City centre, but at the same time in a quiet neighbourhood. Large choice in generous & very tasty breakfast options. Ling is a hospitable & attentive host. We’d definitely book to stay again when in the area.

Nothing negative about Apple Tree B&B or our host Ling. However, we didn’t find the Booking.Com website overly helpful in enabling us to make a choice of room. As a result we had been booked into a slightly smaller room without a seating area which is an option in room choice at this property.

Location is excellent. 10 minutes at most into the centre. Good to get a breakfast included. And. a breakfast with choices! Many places do not do this these days. Room was very clean and well presented. Host a font of knowledge.

Nothing that Apple Tree could do to improve! Although, having to find a car park, was an inconvenience. And, comparatively expensive (£19 a day). The nearest one is easy to find but has limited spaces.

Loved the genuine welcome and interesting conversations with Ling. Her breakfast and attention to detail in terms of decoration, highlights one of the highest quality B&Bs in the country. She was so accommodating in allowing our son to get himself ready for his graduation. The establishment is immaculate and her attention to detail is obvious to see. I would not hesitate in recommending Apple Tree as one of the best stays in Bath and the UK.

The breakfast options were delicious. We had the full English breakfast and also the Scottish salmon. Ling was a lovely host, an easy conversationalist and happy to share local recommendations as well as snippets of her (interesting) life story. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The antique Asian decor was lovely. The location is fabulous - a short walk to the Bath cathedral and Roman Baths. We parked our car at the local Cricket club car-park and left it there for our two night stay. It's a short walk from The Apple Tree (and on the way to Bath city), but we offloaded our suitcases first then headed to the carpark. It's fine for able-bodied adults, but something to bear in mind if anyone has disabilities.

Not criticisms but considerations: The parking wasn't an issue for us (and was very reasonable as we weren't using the car during our stay) but is a short walk away. Also, consider the stair-cases to guest rooms for less physically able guests. We managed just fine.

We absolutely loved our three nights at Apple Tree. From the moment we arrived Ling made us feel so welcome. She is the perfect host in every way. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was more than excellent and plentiful. Apple Tree is in a perfect location for exploring all that Bath has to offer. Overall this is a wonderful bed and breakfast and Ling has a beautiful soul. We were sad to say goodbye to her and her gorgeous cats.

Very nice accommodation very central to the town centre of Bath. Ling created a lovely comfortable space. Breakfast was great.

Unfortunately no free parking nearby and quite costly at 20 pounds a day in the carpark (5 mins away). Not Ling’s fault as council won’t supply any parking permits.

Beautiful little guest house in a great central location. Fabulous host. Felt home from home. Booked last minute so our room was the smallest but was spotlessly clean and overlooked the rear garden. Nice breakfast served hot! Couldn’t fault it would recommend and would stay again.

I loved how cozy the room was. Ling was also welcoming and very pleasant. The breakfast was really good. The location was perfect, 5 mins walk from the center and in a quiet area. The bath spa station is also 12mins by walk from it and very easy to access. We had a lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay host was great told us difference things we could go an see also we could come an go as we pleased we could park our car but not much space only really for 2 cars could really do with more parking an was no seating area outside which is a shame as we do like to sit outside if weather is nice with a coffee or tea or glass of wine for an afternoon or evening
