It is a fun place for the family to be, no need to really go out if you don’t wish too as the kids stay occupied all day with the pool, slides and golf. Love that the apartment is self contained so all the conveniences of home are there. Great to have a little cafe on site for when you don’t feel like cooking or going out.

Everything is extra! I feel like anything I asked about cost more. Also if you ask for a cot, they do not make it up for you (even though you pay for it!) you have to make it all up yourself and nor do they supply proper cot linen, only a huge bed sheet (double bed maybe) which would not be safe for young babies. Adults are not allowed to take their children down the slides which I think is a real let down.

Location was amazing close to everything only between 20 minutes to half hour to theme parks! Right near shops and beach. Very family friendly. Lots of pools and activties for the children The barbecue area very handy and nice. Hot pool/spa was nice and relaxing and good with the cold weather. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The deck was good for breakfast, lunch and dinner the staff also their was very friendly and their food was nice.

Beds were not comfy at all, very hard. We keept waking up sore every morning. Splash zone water was freezing.

Wonderful resort for kids - the room was comfortable, pools are excellent, cafe right there, free crafts for the kids each day. Supermarket walking distance. Special shout out to the staff who replaced a broken dishwasher in our room on the same day, and even filled the dishwasher and washed the dishes for us while we were out. Very thoughtful and appreciated. We would love to come back.

Washing machine was an old top loader and didn’t spin very well but still washed the clothes. Would be great to supply pool towels!

We were meant to stay from 7-16 Mar, cyclone hit and we were able to move our bookings to 28 Mar-6 Apr. We had 7 rooms during our stay (5 for 8 nights and 2 for 3 nights), x4 2 bedroom superior apts, x2 2 bedroom apts and x1 bedroom apt We did request and pay for 2 rooms on the ground. Right up until the day before we arrived, reception was not able to confirm our room numbers. If I'd known how far our 2nd room was going to be and how difficult it was going to be for our mum to go up/down the stairs to and from room, we would've asked to move rooms. We checked in quite late to the resort, so by the time we got in our room, unpacked and relaxed after our international flight, we'd already made ourselves comfortable and used the towels, bathrooms etc; when checking in I did keep telling the receptionist that we had our mum but that didn't seem to factor in her allocating the room. It was our fault for staying in the room. She just took her time walking around the resort Our room was very spacious and the arrival pack (eggs, bread, milk etc;) kids activity pack, free drinks/kids club/mini golf vouchers were much appreciated😊 even the road works outside the resort, you couldn't hear any extra noise where our rooms were located. We appreciated the washing machine and dryer. The resort having trolleys for shopping trips was handy to have. Car parking was a breeze and placed well within your room allocation. The gym was used frequently, games room visited by the kids/teenagers and the cinema was a hit with the under 5's The pools were amazing! there was something for everyone in our group (1yo to 60yo) was nice having the spas beside the pools too If something was broken or you needed an extra blanket, reported it to reception/rung house keeping and it was dealt with immediately. A1 service TIP: bring mat/old towel to use as door mat to wipe up wet floors when raining

The fact that our rooms couldn't be confirmed until the day we arrived and that the room we were given was opposite the splash zone meant a long walk for someone in a walking frame. There was also a slight rise in the path on the way to the deck cafe, our mum was always accompanied by a family member so she didn't fall Having to use swipe card to get out of front gate to reception was a hassle (I know you have 2 cards but there was always the chance that the ones at reception didn't have a card on them) Swiping out of stairwell to get to car but not swiping in to get to stairwell was a funny one. Shouldn't it be the other way around? (again we were that family who always walked to the car with no swipe card and kept getting caught in the stairwell)

The swimming pools&spas, tennis, cinema, kids club and proximity to a supermarket! We had a very relaxing 5 day stay, kids loved, parents could take it easier. Beautiful setting and green areas. There is also a gym and 2 saunas, a restaurant, a mini golf! We had a great 2 bedroom apartment, lots of space and very comfortable.

The big missing is recycling facilities (bottles/cans/glass bins around the resort and a recycling option in the rooms). Being a beautiful very green resort and not caring for the environment and for our responsibility in minimizing landfill was disappointing for me. We had to ask and find a huge recycling container hiding down the road, what does not facilitate neither motivate the task. Our oven, looked new but unfortunately was not working. There is construction on the main road and some noise around 4am was annoying on a couple of days. The bed was too soft for me.

The most family friendly accommodation. Our two bedroom apartment had everything we needed as a family of 5, including washing machine which was great midweek. It was clean and modern. The resort was beautifully maintained with well established trees and lots of bird life and bats at dusk! The 2 family pools and mini water park were awesome for the kids and heaps of other activities on offer that we didn’t get to this time. The location was an easy drive to everywhere we wanted to visit and the free parking and being able to walk to supermarket, coffee shop and beach was a plus +++ Thanks Turtle Beach Resort for the awesome stay :) Listing on booking.com doesn’t do it justice!

Absolutely Nothing.

I liked the pools and slides and kids club was great! Our apartment was quite clean but needed a bit of handyman maintenance toilet lid slipped off due to loose screws.... Shuttle bus was great Vince was excellent 👌 Loved how close to the beach we were and loved having a woolies right next door and lots of food choices around.

The resturant on site. I wanted to love it but the meals were not the greatest... And the wait time to be served was a bit crazy ...Felt ignored and a bit of an inconvenience to staff. And was extremely pricey for a box of chips 🤯 the deck seemed to be a bit off from our last visit maybe they are going through different staff or training not sure but yeah not as friendly as last time....

Great family resort with lots of activities catered for the kids. The rooms are well setup to self-cater, while the bar /restaurant has good food and drink options. TBR provided drinks, kids club and other activity vouchers which encourage you to enjoy all the resort has to offer! Also very secure. You can't get in or out without a pass, which gives peace of mind if your kids are running around.

While we loved the rooms, there are parts that are becoming dated. Patched up tile cracks in the shower. A broken toilet seat. Our fridge and freezer wasn't working, though once reported it was quickly replaced with a smile!

The location of the property was excellent. VERY close to woolworths and across the road from a number of shops you'll need, ie bottle shop and plenty of take away. The number of pools will keep your kids busy, the splash park was cool. The room itself was was basic but self contained. easy to get to all the theme parks if you can a car OR if your book a shuttle, bout 20-30 mins depending on traffic.

We were on the third story and there is no lifts, so a bit of a bugger but no biggie for our family. however, if your coming with grandparents with mobility issues, the top floors are not for you. Beds were a bit old and the pillows felt a little cheap. thats my only 1% negative feedback!

Beautiful lush gardens, excellent pools and play areas for kids. Apartment was very comfortable, had everything we needed for a family of 4. Nice and quiet at night, can be a little croupy in the evenings but settles quickly. Public transport is right out the front and super easy, only 50 cent fare and took you door to door from the airport, and all major attractions in the area. Supermarket and excellent coffee shops within walking distance, beach is perfection and 5 min walk away.

Minimal provisions in the apartment like dishwashing liquid and washing liquid. If you run out of toilet paper you need to pay to top it up. If you want a linen change it’s $35 per bed, my son was sick during the night (drank to much pool water) so I washed the sheets myself instead of paying. We had a 6 night stay and there was no towel change, we rented pool towels ($5 each) I washed them every day. You need to wash and put away the dishes on check out but they don’t supply enough washing up liquid.
